DWTS MEGAcap: 2 Couples Enter; 1 Couple Leaves

The UK Trio: Katherine and Mark choose Tristan. The rehearsal clips highlight all their cultural differences via the way they talk. Katherine says that maybe with their accents people won’t understand what they’re saying, so they’ll let the dance speak for them.

“Kick it off, kickitoff, KICKITOFF!!!”

It’s a cute 60′s/secret agent inspired Chacha. In the beginning when they rip her ripaway dress off, some of it gets caught on her foot and I was worried for their safety the whole time. But it was cool.

  • Len: Well done even with wardrobe thing.  9
  • Bruno: Sexy and cool.   10
  • Kerry Ann: Brought out the fire! Having a pant stuck and not missing a beat? Great job.  10

Team Man Vs Boy: Roshon and Chelsie chose Sacha from the troupe. Uh oh. What if Sacha is Sexy Vanilla Ice? It’s so confusing. But he doesn’t have the highlights like Henry… so… I think I’m still right. Anyway Sacha is there to make Roshon man up for their Paso Doble. We’ll see how that goes.

Matador? More like Matadon’t.

It’s just weird and awkward. Like a boy playing at being an adult. And there are a few times when he’s not quite in sync with them.

  • Bruno: Beautiful Spanish lines. Lost sync with Sacha a few times.   9
  • Kerry Ann: Great routine, but he was off a few times.   9
  • Len: “Like two skinny fries fighting over the ketchup!” Strong lines. Tight buttocks. He liked it.   9

Team Bandito: William and Cheryl chose Tony, who I’m guessing is also in the troupe? They’re all worried that since Tony’s a pro, he could make William look bad. Their Zorro inspired Paso Doble was tight. William mostly killed it, except for one part where he was out of sync.

El Bandito Caliente

  • Kerry Ann: Lines were incredible. He learned from Tony. Except once they were out of sync.  9
  • Len: “I salute you.” Great.  9
  • Bruno: Great performance value. But lost sync.  9

That’s it for the performance show. Now here’s the RESULTS MINICAP:

Donald & Peta are safe
Katherine & Mark are in jeopardy.

There’s a scary, Sports Center parody called Dance Center featuring Len, Kenny Mayne, an ESPN sports anchorman who they’ve tarted up, and season 2 great dancer Jerry Rice (also tarted up with eye shadow and a skimpy outfit).
Hotmess

Then William & Cheryl are safe.
But Roshon & Chelsie  are eliminated.

William is more upset than Roshon. He won’t let go of the little guy.

There’s an American Bandstand-esque tribute to Dick Clark.

Then Maria & Derek are safe, of course.
So Melissa and Maks are in jeopardy.

It’s down to Melissa & Maks and Katherine & Mark.
Obviously Katherine & Mark are safe.
So, Melissa & Maks are eliminated. DUH.

That’s it for this week. Thanks for reading. Let us know what you think! How weird was it that Roshon and Chelsie danced to that “Turn me on” song? How do you feel about Roshon and Melissa getting eliminated? And how gay was Derek, Maria, and Henry’s Bollywood number?

I was sad for Roshon, because he’s really a good dancer and I think he really did the best he’s ever done that week. I would rather see him in the semi-finals that Maria. I bet Sasha feels like an ass right now too, with that stupid “with me on your team, you won’t go home” thing he said.

But it was definitely Melissa’s time to go. And with the way that Maks was treating her in the package, it’s probably in her best interests to not have to dance with him anymore. He’s known for being mean and its never really bothered me, but that time it was just scary. Not even just the level of verbal abuse that he was heaping on her, but also the way that he tried to make her feel guilty about it afterwards by telling her that it was her fault and that she was making him look bad. It was nice when he apologized and even shed a manly tear, but he’s still scary. I mean, if he appeared in my bed right now, I would be like yesyesyes but I would also make sure my cell phone was handy and 911 was on speed dial. Can’t take any chances.
Val is a sweetheart though…I hope he sticks around for longer next year.

Maria’s trio was indeed gay. Even with her sandwiched between Derek and Vanilla Ice, I was like damn this is some fruity shit. And it was just terrible…3 seconds of samba, and the rest was some cheap imitation bollywood. I’m glad that Len gave it a 7 and didn’t rupaulogize for that.

That’s too bad about CannedGinger. *pours out some sequins for our homie *

I love your use of RuPaulogize!
