Welcome back for Season 6 of Flipping Out.  Jeff Lewis and his partner, Gage, are remodeling their dream home while juggling their interior design and renovation/remodeling projects.  Jenni, Zoila, and Vanina are back again this season, along with a new design assistant, Andrew.      

WEST KNOLL

This week’s episode opens at West Knoll, Jeff’s residence.  Jeff and Jenni joke around with each other about Jenni’s gym clothes and Jeff looking like he’s just left the set of Mr. Rogers.  Her hoodie has a clip she thinks will perform double duty as a hair clip for his wig.  I had no idea that Jeff wears a hairpiece.  I’m going to be looking at his hair this entire episode…this whole season.

 

It’s good to see Jenni back full-time.  Jeff’s in good hands with Gage as his “right hand woman” and Jenni his “left hand woman”. 

Zoila is the butt of Jeff’s joking around in the office.  Zoila’s told to get a plunger to unclog a toilet.  He blames it on Vanina flushing tampons and clogging up the entire sewer system.  Vanina’s a good sport and ignores him when he goes on and on about sanitary and unsanitary napkins.  Maybe she’s engrossed in a game of Solitaire or looking at cute kitty pictures online.  Zoila isn’t in any rush to unclog the toilet even though she says Jeff’s poop is like perfume and flowers.   Lovely.

JEFF’S CAR

Jenni will be planning her wedding this season and her engagement party is fast approaching.  When Jeff asks if he needs to buy her a present, Jenni tells him he doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want to do.  Jeff teases her that she’s creating a financial burden for people.  Jenni’s a sweetheart, so it’s great to see her happy and getting remarried. 

GRAMERCY

Jeff and Jenni go to Gramercy, which is a home that Jeff previously owned and recently purchased again.  The project was initially a light remodel but has grown into making it their dream home.  The budget has quadrupled and the time frame went from three months to a year.  Jenni feels like Jeff will raise a family in Gramercy and nest there, so it’s the longest she’s seen him spend on a home. 

 

MULHOLLAND

Mulholland is the main home of Jeanne, a client that Jeff has worked with in the past. 

 

CALABASAS

This is a cosmetic remodel of a network executive’s home.

 

SPRING OAK

Jeff has been working on this property for over a year and they’re rushing completion because the owners are coming in town and want to sleep there rather than at a hotel.

 

GRAMERCY


Jeff and Jenni stop by to meet with Gage to check on progress.  Gage has been the project manager on this property, but Jeff makes changes constantly.  When it comes to colors, primer and TBD have become the most popular.

    I love Gage and hope he sticks it out ( OMG can’t believe I wrote that) with Jeff. Gage seemed to watch Jenny and her Dr. so sweetly in love.. and I think he looked sad .
    I would also say who in their right mind would give Jeff a baby..remember when he runied Ryan’s little girls doll….something like off with her head…turning the doll into the headless horse~ woman…but Gage is mature, kind and soft spoken…I hope he is the main parent.
    This show just gets better and better with each season.

    Did Jeff live in Gramercy with Ryan “Seacrest” Brown? If so, I don’t think he should live in it with Gage – too much bad juju. I agree with TV Junkie that Jeff is probably not good parent material. It’s always about him.
    Once you have a baby, it is never about you again.

    I think Jenny was joking about the wig. It’s been a long running rumor that Jeff wears a rug.
    He denies it.

    So excited for this new season!!

    Yay Flipping Out! Ok I’m better… WhereTH is Trace?! I know, fired. :-( he is so cute tho. Wth?! I’m glad Sarah’s gone. Jury is still out on Andrew. He just needs to chill. Damn

    Yes, that toast was really sweet !! The toast was when they showed Gage looking kind of sad..I think…I wonder if he and Jeff will make it….
    Do you think Jenny will move from LA and Flipping Out? That would be soo sad, but would make sense for her to work on her marriage. She is really sweet and I would love to see her have a family of her own .

    @BSL it was sweet, but where’s Trace? Can we get him back? Do Jeff and/or Jenni read your recaps? Of course they do! Hey, bring back Trace! He’s so cute :-)

    @TV Junkie I hope it works out for Jeff & Gage and that Jenni will be around for years to come, too. …hope he sticks it out…hahaha!

    @wasabipeas I agree with you!

    @SarahJ I’ve been looking around online and keep seeing a mix of real hair vs hair piece. Could it be hair plugs?

    @Romo I liked Trace, too! Andrew is a mess.

    @BSL, my wig-dar has been pinging like crazy, and that last pic of Jeff clinches it. It’s a rug.

    Ditch Andrew and bring Trace back. Love the spa/Zen garden idea for employment.

    @snowshoecat your wig-dar hahaha! After watching Sheree try to rip off Kim Z’s wig, I was amazed how well those things can be attached. Hoping for you and Romo that they bring Trace back.

    @BSL, ouch. Missed that, but if the RHof… “ladies” had any smarts–which of course they don’t or they wouldn’t be the RHof… “ladies”– they would have breakaway extensions like movie sets have for furniture.

    Ya just know those puppies are going to be yanked at/off once in a while.

    Really looking forward to this season of your recaps.

    Oh, wow! Jenni and Jonathan look so beautiful together! Thanks for the link, TV Junkie. Super cute picturing Zoila as a bridesmaid. I hope they show it and glad fellow Gasmii are looking forward to this season of “Flipping Out”.

    Youknow I am surprised I’ve never really focused on Jeff’s Ken-Doll-do. It HAS to be a wig! I guess I’ve always been so distracted by his evil machinations that I really never noticed it before. Creeeeepy

    And I am so happy for Jenni that she found love, and that Zoila was a bridesmaid! How sweet is that? I hope she sticks around, Jeff needs that chirpy little weirdo.
