Jeff’s getting tired of discussing every single detail of the remodel, so he tells the contractor that the generator is a done deal and that’s where it’s going. The generator topic is so difficult, that if they ever break up, Jeff thinks it will be because of the generator.
Jenni asks Jeff if Gramercy causes tension in their relationship because she notices the wedding planing has caused some tensions in her relationship. Jeff admits that it has been stressful. If you’ve ever lived through a renovation/remodel, it is difficult, and the more decisions, the worse it is. In Jenni’s camera interview, she points out that this isn’t just Jeff’s home and it’s where he’ll be raising his family, so maybe part of it is that he’s worried about whether or not he’s ready. At least he’s sure about the generator.
Andrew is going over a punch list with the contractors and tells him that it has to be done the next day since the owners will be arriving. Please don’t show Andrew walking down the stairs or playing with sharp knives. Don’t show him with a blow dryer near a full bathtub, either.
There’s plenty of things still left to do with only one day to finish. Andrew says he’s done lots of jobs–food prep, driving people around–but he’s always been interested in design. He pictures himself having a career working with Jeff.
The faucet breaks, spraying water onto the shower tile and bathroom walls. Andrew freaks out screaming for someone to turn the water off, “the whatever water”. He runs around in circles like he’s lost in a hedge maze.
Andrew sees a water spot that forms the image of Andy Cohen.
Andrew freaks out and calls Jeff that it’s a flood after something exploded and water was gushing everywhere. Even though Jeff and Jenni have an appointment, they go to check on Spring Oak and realize Andrew was being a drama queen and on the verge of a breakdown. Jeff tells him to put a “Do Not Use” sign on it and they move on.
Then water was splashing all over the shower tiles!
Jeff asks Andrew if he’s invited to Jenni’s engagement party–he isn’t. Jeff’s trying to make Jenni uncomfortable and call her out on it, but it doesn’t work. Jenni says she invited Andrew to the wedding, but the engagement party is a small, intimate party. Jeff then asks Vanina if she’s invited–she is. Jenni then says she didn’t have Andrew’s email, so she couldn’t invite him. Jenni holds her ground, even when Jeff catches her changing her story.
The owners are driving up, so Jeff and Jenni tell Andrew to be positive and don’t be himself. The owners are thrilled. Their home is lovely. Jeff had freedom to design the home, so it is reflective of his taste and personality and he has a connection with the home. Andrew is given immunity this week.
