Chantal and Claudia play dumb and have no idea why there is any tension. I guess ignoring people and pretending you are too cool for school has nothing to do with it in Hipsterworld. I blame them living on a former toxic dumpsite. Liz explains that she thought they were cool and wanted to buy things from EOC but they treated her like crap the last few times she attempted to talk to them. Chantal first says she doesn’t remember the EOC opening with Claudia chiming in that they cried half the night from emotional trauma. Chantal then apologizes and Claudia chimes in that Chantal does have a reputation for being mean. With the tension out of the way Chantal and Liz find that they really like each other and have things in common such as blonde hair, which Liz thought was one of the reasons why they didn’t like her.
Maggie and her friends have meanwhile been partying and drinking all the free bottles that Liz’s friend had supplied the table with. Once the liquor dried up, Maggie stumbles over to Liz to ask for another bottle which she is denied because Liz doesn’t want to pay since all the free bottles are empty. Liz decides that it is time to bounce now that Maggie and Crew have started their douchebag-think-I’m-in-college schtick. They end up getting kicked out after making a huge mess. The next day Maggie and Liz are working Eli’s booth when Bobby stops by to get lunch with them. Liz just so happens to get a text from her friend who owns Mokai and finds out that not only was Maggie and Crew kicked out but they didn’t even tip the waiter. Liz goes hard on Maggie’s friends calling one a common creature and disgusting and how she doesn’t understand why they can’t hold their liquor. Maggie attempts to make excuses but Liz steamrolls her. Maggie interviews that Liz is overreacting and should understand considering she was in rehab before she turned 25. Maggie that was for cocaine which is totes different from alcohol.
Amy is setting up for the EOC pop up when Angela shows up and is actually impressed with what Amy has put together…except the tent she put up to shield them from possible rain. So ungrateful. Amy is thankful for getting fired from her free internship because it made her better and she is now determined to prove that she can handle responsibility. If you wanted to prove you were responsible you could have just gotten a gold fish or something. Kerri is working a Mr. Brainwash event and I am actually jealous because I like Thierry’s work. You can learn more about him from watching Exit Through the Gift Shop. Kerri’s job title has changed to event coordinator because now she is in charge of making sure people attend the event and are happy.
