Amy is at her parent’s house hanging out with her brothers and explains that her motto is “Stick Together”. She’s very close with her family and I think that is great because she needs someone in her corner when it comes to life. Amy’s dad is a gynocologist so I have to ask the ladies if you would let that dude examine your vajay. I’m also curious if Amy’s father was her gyno because that would just be super weird. Amy’s father breaks it down that they sold the apartment in New York and that Amy basically needs to figure out what she wants to do with her life instead of living like she’s part of Sex and the City. He tries to see if she would be able to support herself and still work in a gallery. Amy is overwhelmed and says she will need time to think and her dad tells her that they close on the apartment in two weeks so that’s all the time she has. I’m pretty sure that there has never been anyone who actually buys an apartment without first taking a tour of it so how did Amy NOT know her apartment was getting sold?
Kerri meets with her “boss” and explains that she is overwhelmed with her internship and work duties. He basically tells her in so many words that his clients come first and he doesn’t want them to suffer. Back in New York, Maggie and Liz meet up to discuss No Tip Gate again with Liz basically blaming Maggie for her friend’s behavior. Maggie, grabbing her balls, tells Liz that she is upset with the things that Liz has said about her and her friends and that Ryan has been calling Mokai since they returned to make things right. Liz then goes in on Ryan and calls him a cheapskate and that, as a friend, Maggie deserves someone who will treat her better. Maggie disagrees and tries to stick up for Ryan (which is hard when Liz is right) but Liz is over it as usual and turns to face away from Maggie instead of leaving the table. Maggie says that Liz isn’t the same girl she first met and that she thinks she is better than others. Duh, money can’t buy you class.
Claudia is at EOC opening the bills when she calls her mom to cry and bitch that things have not gotten better and she is working non-stop all the time. Interesting to note is that Chantal had apparently gone on a weekend trip with Spencer to Paris and ended up getting really sick upon her return. She can afford a spontaneous trip to Paris but can’t put money into the shop like real business owners do? Claudia’s mom tells her that she needs to bring the people to her instead of hoping they stop in but all Claudia can do is cry and complain.
