Last week the EOC girls wasted some Mac and Cheese on a terrible jacket, there was an art auction with a guest spot by Simon de Pury, Maggie probably slept with Eli and Amy is overshadowing Angela as the most annoying on the show.
This week we open with Eli and Liz sitting around doing nothing while Maggie stuffs envelopes hidden away in the conference room. You know, those envelopes would probably be stuffed quicker if both Liz and Maggie did them but I guess Liz’s twitter was more important than helping her friend out that she feels so badly for. Eli calls Maggie and then has her count out the exact amount of pebbles in some bonzai plants that he has on display. Maggie and Liz both question his seriousness but apparently he wasn’t kidding and Maggie gets to counting as Liz and Eli head to dinner. Liz asks a lot of questions regarding the food and then sends her soda back because it tastes like soap. I’m pretty sure she drinks a lot of semen and spit as she says she has no problem sending food back if she thinks something is wrong with it. She immediately regrets her decision for free food once Eli starts word humping China and how much he loves it and how he’s the premiere China dude in New York, nay, the US! Liz just stuffs her face and feigns interest as he goes on and on filling the room with rancid hot air. Seriously, when I see Eli I picture his breath smelling like old cheese and feet.
End of Century is trying out another artist named Ethan Cook who is an “abstract minimalist” which means he paints a bunch of shit that doesn’t make sense but tries to sell it as done on purpose. Chantal says that his work is mind boggling and that she doesn’t get it and I want to punch babies from all the anger I am feeling. Fucking pretentious hipsters thinking everything is cooler than it fucking is. They have a hard time deciding where to place the artwork which all looks the same and then Claudia flubs by having not discussed pricing beforehand. Chantal says that its embarassing for Ethan to discuss that in front of everyone and I agree with her because you don’t want people knowing how little or how much you are going to make. Chantal says that Claudia needs to stop being so wishy washy and more assertive with her negotiating. Chantal is so over Claudia at this point that she decides to hold a trunk show for Nettie Kent’s jewelry at the store to make more money. Her jewelry is okay but it all looks the same and her display looks like Pinhead which doesn’t scream comfort to me.
