Joy, of course, jumps onto this opportunity to razz someone about being a bad person. She tells Andrea the fact of the matter is that Gene is over honest and Andrea is manipulative. Andrea’s pissed peeved because she thinks she’s the only one who isn’t manipulative in this damned gosh-darned House of Stereotypes.
Andrea instead learns the hard truth of the reason you never go to someone and trash talk someone else behind their back to try to jump ship only to turn around and start chastising those very people you turned to for shit-talking. Immediately, Joy chucks her right under the reality show bus by announcing her desire to transfer alliances because it was a “sinking ship” that she didn’t want to be on in the first place. She tries to deny this, but Gene steps up because he was there when she said all of this. Whoopsy-pants! He asks her if she really wants to go on record saying that and she says, “Roll the tapes!” So, ABC does exactly that only I wish they did this at the time to the whole house. Wouldn’t THAT be awesome? This show would be way better if they actually did that. Instead, we at home get to see that she’s lying through her well-brushed teeth. Then, Joy says that she mentioned she felt like she was forced into an alliance she didn’t want to be in and she confesses to that, because she says she did – at the time – feel forced into it. So, how is that different, you ask? Well, I’m not totally sure, myself. She flips out. She keeps saying, “Roll the footage!” and it’s proved, yet again through sepia-colored tape, that she is being quoted verbatim.
Joy announces that the difference between her team’s strategy and their’ s is that they would never vote one of their own into Liimbo. Well, except for Jeffy, that is. Kevin gets all bro’ed out over this and over-excitedly yells that they voted Jeffy which was disgusting on their part and yada yada yada while Andrea gets all giddy that the negative attention is finally off her. The Friends team keeps telling them that they put him in only because he wanted to go. It goes back and forth about Jeffy wanting to go and Jeffy being arrogant for volunteering. This is all getting a little irritating, because I’m starting to not like anyone here.
Questions are asked of the housemates. The first one is for Gene and we learn that he originally went into this game with the now infamous Ron-Ronism – Never fall in love at the shore Glass House. Well, we all know how that tends to turn out. It should actually be, “Never start up a relationship with a psychopathic, immature girl who will just run off and pout every time her widdle feewings get huwt.” Erica responds with, “I beg to differ” which, of course, gets Joy all riled up about being used. This winds up getting Erica into a little pickle which leads her to let out that she trusts Kevin more than Gene despite the fact that Gene has never voted for her to go to Limbo. Gene tries to wear a pa-pa-pa-poker face, but you can tell what he’s really thinking…
