Video Notes

- All of them can’t lip synch for shit! I wish they actually had lip synch for your life performances because it would be a joke to watch.
- Their voices sound ridiculously produced again. Because that’s totally the point of Glee, right?
- Hee hee I always hear the words to this song as “I wanna have boobies” instead of “I wanna have groupies”
- Nellis looks so awkward with the fruit


- WB is perfect, especially at the end
- For once, we got a creative and interesting video!

The bottom three is definitely Nellis, Abe, and…Lily? Maybe?

WB is the winner. No surprise there. And I called the loozahs this week. Lily doesn’t agree with it, but of course she wouldn’t.

Songs
Nellis- “I’m the Only One” by Melissa Etheridge
Abe- “Stereo Hearts”
Lily- “Someone Like You” by Adele.

Lily collapses on the ground when she hears that is her song. I wish she’d stay there. You’re not competing for theatricality points right now, hun. Calm the fuck down.

And STAY down, bitch!

In the mini segment, we learn that everyone loves Zach. Well, that’s no news to me. He’s the best thing about this show.

Adorbs. Although he should stop hanging out with Ryan. He’s picking up on his ugly hat habits.

Last Chance Performances
Nellis- her deep, soulful voice sounds great here. She’s definitely the best singer there. Why can’t she be like that during the videos? I have a bad feeling she’s going the same “artist not performer” route as D. Biebs.

Ryan can’t imagine a character for Nellis because he has no imagination. He’s wearing a stupid newsboy cap tonight, in case anyone was interested in his outdated fashion sense (and he’s gay! What’s up with that?).

Abe- Ryan loves Adam Levine. I never would have guessed that, a gay man loving Afdm Levine. His performance is actually good. The song is well suited to his voice, and he does his best boy band impression. I could totes see him as a member of a K-Pop band. He says that people used to call him “Little Yellow Faggot,” which is sad and just incorrect. He’s not yellow! I kid, I kid.

Lily- she kinda sounds like Adele (and has the same body shape). She doesn’t go for the high note though, and methinks that’s a mistake. Oh wait, nvm, she goes for it the second time on the chorus. I’m not really feeling the emotion from her though, it just seems like she’s trying to play someone who is trying to hold back a sneeze.

She argues with Ryan, saying she got conflicting direction in the shoot and that’s why she was bad. That’s not good. I think they may send her home just for that. But I don’t know. Going into this I thought Abe was definitely out, but now I’m not sure.

    I kinda like Abe- but I agree, he won’t make it till the end.
    Nellis was a good choice to go ..she is zoo boooring…they gave her every opportunity to sex /confidence it up and she failed miserably!

    I am loving WB a lot more …yah , she is that “theatre girl”we all remember from school that was super annoying and super talented ..but she does seem sweet.

    Carpet is that “theatre girl” too…but not in a endearing way

    Nikki was in a christian girl group Avalon in the late 90′s …he makeup and look is stuck there !

    What was hard about writing the character of, I du no, the real Nellis? Awesome folky voice in an awkward girl? I found her more compelling to watch than anyone else; she’s intriguing instead of a one-note personality (cough*magic carpet*cough). You want to watch more.

    But damn I got so frustrated that she wouldn’t TRY to act a little more. Without that effort, she’d never make it on the show, so she’s the right one to go. Also, Ryan wants to get rid of all the guys here, all uniformly blah, but he’s gotta throw a girl out once in a while to make the videos more gender-balanced. Also so tween girls keep tuning in. (although they could just lust after Zach like the rest of us.)

    When the guest mentor showed up I said aloud, “who?”. Glad we were told who this supposedly famous person is.

    I loved hearing me some Chorus Line. I love when Glee does Broadway – I am too old to recognize most of the pop songs.

    I think it’s ironic that Ali played Katy Perry, because her version of “Last Friday Night” sucked.

    Every time I read ‘WB’ my mind automatically translates it to ‘Warner Bros’. EVERY TIME.

    Nellis was the right one to leave, she was too negative and gloomy.
    I think Lily hates michael for some reason. She spent the whole episod dissing him. (maybe he wouldnt sleep with her or something–i dont blame him)
    I didnt think i would like ali when this started but she is my favorite girl now, not like there is any better choice.
    I really hope carpet was joking when she said she was sexy, because guurrlll is not.
    Not digging abraham, he is so annoying on twitter i just want to band him from the internet.
    Blake and shanna do nothing for me so i dont hate them, but i wouldnt care much if they got eliminated.
    I think the reason michael doesnt know anything about glee or seem interested in it is because robert asked him to audition for the glee project, like damian last year (so maybe he will win) which makes this show a scam

    Blake was found “through industry channels” too. He’s an actor, never sang much before the show, and it explains his mono tonality. He’s my fave guy though, he always puts his whole heart into his character in the videos.

    WB is my favorite girl by process of elimination. Carpet and Lily are terrible. They chose the worst possible Madonna outfit possible for Aylin, she looked awful. And lily is just a bitch. Did anyone else hear her say she loves cyndi lauper’s music but doesn’t think she’s an icon?!

    Being found through industry channels means that your manager told you about the audition. Robert actually sought michael out and asked him to audition, thats the small difference.

    I liked Nellis but if felt like she wasn’t even trying. And it was like she would rather whine and complain instead of just doing it. Its weird because I feel she was fine at the beginning of the show.

    At least the video shoot proved that Nellis really really really needs a different hair style.

    So who are we left with? This is truly the best they could find for this season. They weren’t even trying when they cast this bunch.

    I really want GH2 to leave. He is so mediocre, and hes not entertaining. I was sorry to see Nellis go, because i loved her voice and personality but you are completely right that her whole lack of confidence thing was getting old fast and the director was clearly frustrated with her.

    I’m so depressed that there are pretty much no people that I like on this show anymore.
    Blake and Shanna.
    That’s it.

    And Aylin looked horrible in her Madonna outfit…when she was bending over to help WB with something, her butt looked like a big soggy diaper.
