WB and Lily are at the top this week. WB has a good attitude about everything. She’s a little perky for me, but I’ve decided I like her. And I thought Lily would have gone home ages ago.
The ones doing the last chance performance will be Charlie, Magic Carpet, and Nellis.

If his performance isn’t this EXACTLY it will be a fail for me
In the mini-segment, all the girls (minus Nellis, of course) come out in shorts and sport bras chanting “fearless!” Well, now we have proof of who is chubby and not. Verdict- Lily is totes fat, Shannaaa has a little pooch but isn’t bad, and Carpet’s got some chub on her. The boys then strip down to boxers as well, which I have no complaints about. There must be alcohol being secretly served in this house, there must. I don’t run around in my underwear screaming unless I’m well and thoroughly trashed.
Has anyone noticed how BIG Wheelchair Barbie’s boobs are? I just can’t help noticing them every time she’s on-screen
Last Chance Performances
Magic Carpet- she hits all the notes, but it kind of sounds like a struggle. I didn’t really feel any emotion, either. She just acted like she was laughing internally and singing the words. I get the same kind of fake vibe that I feel from Lea Michele. Maybe that means she’ll make it on to the show, after all (vom).
Ryan thinks she needs to be both strong and vulnerable, and that she is a game-changer because she is Muslim.
Charlie- no one can do this song justice like Tom himself. He goes into the seats and sits next to Nikki. She looks like she wants to die. He also puts his own words in. It’s pretty clever of him to change it up, considering how many times he’s performed for them now. He mostly sticks to the melody this time, which is nice. He does have stage presence, I must admit.
Nellis- it’s pretty great. Very emotional. I don’t have much else to say.
Ryan says she needs her confidence to be better. LOL she says to fake it til you make it! My title from last week! <3 Nellis.
I honestly think Charlie has to go. It’s his fourth week in the bottom! How can they get rid of either of the other two girls?
And I’m right. He’s out. And of course the next episode is going to be Carpet moping around and being sad about him leaving. Which is worse, seeing them being all lovey together or seeing her whining about him being gone? I’ll wait until next week to decide.
Charlie even changes the melody around in his exit song! I’m glad he stays true to his own awful style even as he leaves the show.
Which has more chemistry? This kiss or Blake and Nellis’ nose bump? I think we all know the answer.
Did everyone else think it was Charlie’s time to go? At this point I feel like Blake will definitely make it to the end, and WB has a pretty good shot as well. Any other predictions from you guys?

Thanks for a great recap. I’m so tired of Carpet’s orgasmic response to each week’s mentor. Does she think she gets extra points for acting like an a@@hole meeting her dream date? Bad move for the camera to focus close up on Lily’s crotch during her splits (?) dive. It was time for Charlie to leave. There was no way his smart aleck attitude was going to keep him there. He needs to return to his high school drama department for the summer musical.
Aylin grates on my nerves. I could play a drinking game with her Turkish Muslin schtick. We KNOW you’re a Turkish Muslin, dear. It just makes your slutty behavior even sluttier. Wonder what Glee would do with her? Have her come to school in a Burka with no panties underneath her robes? Charlie is talented but he did mention he has ADHD and Asperger’s, which explains why he keeps putting his foot in his mouth with the producers & Ryan. Remember Sugar Motta supposedly “has” Aspergers to explain away her rude comments. I felt sorry for him, because I have a son who is mildly autistic (Aspergers is a form of autism), so I was hoping he’d stay longer. But his obnoxious romance with Magic Carpet was cloying and annoying. I hope Aylin won’t win, but it appears she might make it to the finals–the producers seem to love her. I don’t find her very likeable.
I don’t see Lily making it all the way as well–what kind of character would they write for her? She’s a bit too over-confident for my tastes and seems loud and brash without the sass and smarts of say a Mercedes Jones.
I also love Nellie as well, but the girl better get some confidence or else she’ll be next to go. And that’s a shame because she does have a terrific voice and such chemistry with Blake. She could be a really interesting character on Glee–the shy student with a terrific voice. Shanna? Great voice, sweet girl…but meh. Abraham? Pitchy voice, unremarkable dance moves…not Mike Chang’s replacement by a LOONNNNNGGG shot. I like Ali’s spunk and hope she’ll go far, but it appears Blake might ultimately be the winner. Probably if there’s a final 4, my guesses are Blake, Shanna, Ali and maybe Ailyn or Abe.

Indeed I have noticed how big Ali’s boobs are. I watched the casting episode and that’s the first thing I saw lol. She’s SO tiny and they are SO not.
And Nellie and Blake have great onscreen chemistry. It’s like the producers of GleePro are isolating the two contenders that are the closest to being considered “hot” and keep shoving them together hoping that the beautiful people will do what beautiful people do best. Ah, scripted reality at its finest. And did anyone else notice Zach crying after Nellie’s last chance performance? LOVE HIM.
My final four would be Nellie, Blake, Shanna, and Wheelchair Barbie. Hopefully Nellie gets her act together. She gets a lot of screen time in next week’s video (She’s portraying Brit Brit, btw) so perhaps things will start looking up for her…
You said exactly what I was thinking when Charlie got “It’s Not Unusual” and missed the perfect opportunity to The Carlton. I’m glad he’s gone, but I still say he might have been more tolerable and they shove some Adderall down his throat.
I really hope Aylin is next I’m tired of her and her over the top fake sluttiness.
Wheelchair Barbie is growing on me.
I think Ali’s boobs just look really big because of her small frame. I have the same problem. When you have frame and you’re full chested and makes your boobs seem huge, when in reality their not.
I avoid looking at Ali’s tits. She just reminds me too much of a seal, with all that squeaky barking she does when she sings. Way too high school theater club for me.
Magic Carpet admitted what I suspected — she’d never even kissed a guy before. And no doubt she was prodded into doing this for the cameras. It’s just weird watching a couple of 25-year-olds act like they’re still in junior high. So, yeah, she’d fit well on Glee.
But still, someone ought to inform Ryan Murphy that it’s possible to have a muslim character without having a muslim actor. Lea Michele isn’t actually jewish is she?
Nellis is a trainwreck. There’s a reason she’s still a virgin. I’m starting to grow tired of her bullshit. But yeah, a shy hottie on Glee wouldn’t be a bad idea.
And if Blake wins, then it just proves the Glee Project is really just casting couch for Ryan Murphy’s “personal productions.” Because he’s clearly the worst singer of the lot. The only real thing he brings to the show is drawing Nellis out of her shyness.
Lily just irritates the fuck out of me. I just want to slap her. As for Shannannaa, I just want to give her napkin so she can wipe up all of that dribble around her mouth.
I think Blake deserves to win at this point, because hes consistent (i thought he shouldve won the hw assignment personally) and the show needs good actors and hes theyre best option at this point. Plus he isnt annoying! I really like Nellis, and she has an amazing voice but it seems like she crawled out of her shell for like 10 minutes then crawled straight back in, which may not be to appealing for the casting people. Her lcp was awesome. Carpet will definitely be in the final 4, i would bet money on it. Ryan probably sees a goldmine in her flirty muslim schtick. I really want GH2 to leave but i fear it will not happen anytime soon. I think abraham is probably the most pitchy, but i dont dislike him. Im kinda neutral on him at this point. Lily has Samuel-Syndrome in that she gives the same bitchface in every video. Carpet also has this issue. Shannana is good, i like her for the most part. WB has kind of an annoying voice but i like her attitude. If i had to guess the final 4 it would be Blake, GH2, Carpet, and Lily (possibly substituted with WB) with any of them having a shot except for Lily/WB

Lily also does that tit-flip thing of hers all the time. It’s disturbing.
They did this same mashup on an episode of Glee last season, but with dodgeball instead of swimming. It ended with Damian’s character getting pelted by dodgeballs. In the face. Ouch.
I hope Nellie gets her confidence back up soon! Her voice is amazing, and she’s the prettiest girl left. She and Blake make a cute (and not annoying) couple.
I feel that Nellie is clearly the best vocally but she always returns to her go-to excuse of being awkward and introverted. Like Zach said, I’m kinda done telling her she’s wonderful because she needs to know that we are all rooting for her and just sharpen her acting skills up. I think if she improves next week then she’ll make it to the end. Michael is also sailing close to the wind with Abraham at his side. They don’t stick out an awful lot and when they do it’s for the wrong reasons. Pitchy and forgetting the words. Not good.
Lily is STILL doing that angry tit-bouce thing! It’s so weird!
I felt so sorry for Ali and she definitely deserved to be called back first because she dealt with this week headfirst and even when she was dying of a panic attack she was like…okay let’s laugh and jump in the pool! Fearless.
Aylin and Charlie…hmm…I’m not entirely convinced she even liked him. I’m seeing a really horrible outlook on this show where it will become more and more like Jersey Shore….scripted and tacky and more involved in the fights and bitching rather than the talent. I really hope that doesn’t happen because I love the show as much as watching Glee. But back to Aylin, I would quite like her as a character in Glee but I don’t like that whole…”I’m a Turkish muslim and I’m also a slut” thing. That has to stop before I would vote for her to win.
Overall, liking the series so far and quite excited to see who goes over the next couple of episodes to see more of the contenders individually.
I could see Ali making it all the way. She has the charm and the “star quality” I think they always go for. Ryan also mentioned that she reminds him of a tiny Dolly Parton–clearly that was the spark for her character inspiration–which I could totally see. We haven’t seen a country singer on the show yet, let alone a peppy one. I could see her really working out. I also adore Shanna and I think she’d be a good addition–don’t know what character, but I like her vibe and voice a lot.
Charlie said several times on the null-numbered episode that he has an “autism spectrum disorder” which is the new fancy name for Asperger’s when you’re not otherwise clearly autistic. I have since felt awkward every single time he does something aspergically awkward (every 10 minutes on the show), since it can kinda be explained away if they only said it – which they don’t.
^ I found that so strange too. The mentors will be talking about his odd behavior, and none of them ever bring up either of his disorders. I’m like…do you guys not know…or do you just not care…?
They made it seem like he’s just one of those people who are eccentric and weird for no reason.
But he didn’t leave a moment too soon…I would not have been able to handle another episode of him and Aylin slobbing each other down. They are so awkward…who plans to cuddle? When it was time for him to go, I was like ahh it must be so awkward for everyone standing around, watching them have their embarrassing moment.
Lily’s boob flap thing is so weird. I think what really horrifies me about it is the face that she makes when she does it. Like her boobs have a life of their own and are jumping independently of her control and she is confused and kind of scared about it. Someone should teach her a new dance move, because it’s disturbing.
Nellis needs to pull herself together. If she gets sent home and I’m left with Aylin and WB (who I’m sorry, but she gets on my nerves) and Lily, I am going to be highly upset. And I know Blake will be upset too, because who will he be paired up with in videos? He doesn’t have chemistry with anyone else there but Michael.
In addition to being boring, this show is becoming dangerously deficient in Zach. They better get some Vitamin Z soon, or nobody is going to watch it anymore.
But it was so nice to see Jane Lynch. She’s great.
Hahaha Lily’s boob flap thing is super disturbing. Especially because of the horrid duck face she has while doing it. Someone should really let her know it’s not nearly as attractive as she thinks it is…

I heart Nellis too, and her voice, if I had to guess, I think she could be lesbian and is just not comfortable with herself-is it me? is my gaydar on the blink!? I did see Zach crying. Her last chance was pretty emotional and good, but I have to give props to Aylin-she knocked that song out of the park, really, really sang the sh*t out of it.
I’m so okay with Charlie being gone, but it was odd that they didn’t give him any rope for his conditions-they gave so much to Mario (and he didn’t sing as well, IMHO) I did like Charlie’s voice, and I usually liked his re-arrangements.
WB is a doll, and such a good sport. I thought she and Lily were terrific in the underwater shots. This was the first week I thought Lily shined in the video, I haven’t been a fan previously as she’s a cocky mean girl.
Top four, I can see most of y’all’s picks. I guess I’d say, WB (thought her from the beginning) Shanna, who I also think is terrific, and the rest is harder. I’d like it to be Nellis, but I dunno. I could see Aylin making it, but that’s three girls. Pretty sure Abe and Generic 2 are toast at some point. I like Abe but he looks too old to me. I don’t want Blake in the final, he is too blank for me, but it doesn’t mean he won’t make it.
I thought everybody did a pretty good job on the homework rapping song. I think I know what boob move everyone’s talking about, but I mustn’t be watching very closely. Love Jane Lynch!!!
