Finn & Rachel – Finn tells her that New York is too much.
Blaine & Kurt – Kurt asks why the song was so moving. Blaine tells Kurt that he was with someone else.
Finn & Rachel – Finn asks if she was with Brody. She says that they only kissed.
Blaine & Kurt – Kurt wants to know if it was Sebastian. Blaine says it doesn’t matter – he was all alone.
Finn & Rachel/Blaine & Kurt – Sing ‘Don’t Speak’ around some fountain. Afterwards, they each get in bed back at the apartment. Now, Finn I can understand to an extent, but come on Blaine. He came to New York knowing that he had cheated on Kurt. Did he not think it through as far as having to sleep in the same bed after breaking the news to him? Also – where in the hell are they getting money for traveling? What high school senior can just up and fly to New York on a whim? Sorry – I digress.
Since the show is all about Glee club, they must want to get a few minutes in of actual time at McKinley. Kitty asks Marly to be part of the Left Behind club. Kitty believes the end is near and quotes Kirk Cameron – ‘It’s never too late until it’s too late’. For the club, they meet at Breadsticks. Dottie, Tina’s assistant that I didn’t even realize she had, goes to the bathroom and Kitty has them all trick her into thinking they disappeared – by leaving clothes laying in all of their chairs like they are gone. Dottie freaks out and Marly can’t believe how cruel Kitty is and that Jake is ok with it.
After ducking out on Rachel, Finn shows up at McKinley to see Will. They have an emotional reunion and hug it out. Blaine goes into the choir room and Finn is there. Finn wants to know why he did that to Kurt. They are interrupted by the start of – wait for it – Glee club! Will tells them that they need to pick a musical to do. Finn suggests Grease and they all go with it. I’m going to call it now – Will is going to go to DC and Finn will take over running Glee club.
Will tells Emma that he got accepted to the Blue Ribbon panel and he wants Emma to go to Washington with him. Emma doesn’t want to leave her job and tells him no. I’m not sure why this is as dramatic as they are showing. It’s three months. They are adults. It’s Washington D.C. It’s not like he’s going to be abroad for five years.
Santana is waiting for Brittany in the choir room – where they first fell in love. Santana sings ‘Mine’ – because it will tell Brittany all the things she can’t put into words. Unless you mean the words in the song, then she’s ok with those. The whole time, Brittany has this blank look on her face, then starts almost crying. Santana admits that she had an ‘energy exchange’ with a girl. She knows that long distance relationships never work, so they need to not break up? She give the whole cliche ‘We’re not breaking up, just taking a break’. Yeah, tell that to Ross and Rachel.
