He explains to Hank that yes, she did change, he sees it too. He’s seen it before. He tells Hank that he’s seen a lot more, for a lot longer, and Nick will explain it to Hank later. Carly pipes in that she was going to attack Nick because she thought he was going to kill her because he’s a Grimm, “and that’s what they do”. Hank: “a what?”, Nick, deflated: “a Grimm, it’s a family problem”… but no time for that now Hank… suck it up and carry on.
Outside, the Coyotl Ugly has Jarold captured, while Hayden wants to come inside the barn and talk to Nick and Hank. Hank is all badass and ready now, so they tell him to come inside.
Hayden comes in and says they have no idea who they are messing with as he goes all Coyotl on Hank’s ass, but Hank knocks him out in one punch. (Question, why did Carly recognize Nick as a Grimm, but Hayden didn’t? I’m going to assume it’s the inbreeding for now.)
Don’t hurt me. My mother is my aunt.
Hank calls him out as a Coyotl and I hope everyone is as happy as I am that he’s finally in on the truth, because he was no fun as a pathetic wuss… It’s time for someone to start screaming, and they do, and it gets the attention of Coyotl Ugly outside. They all morph (except Kurt Cobain) and go charging inside as Carly runs out. Kurt morphs and attacks Jarold, but Jarold morphs and they start to fight… Carly then bashes Kurt over the head and he’s out while rest of Coyotl Ugly are arrested inside.
This is what people look like when the lights go on after last call at 2am.
At the station, Hank is taking Carly’s statement and he comments that he’s done many reports in his life, but this is the first time he can’t write down everything he knows. Hank accepts Jarold and Carly and their Coyotlness and is just happy to know he’s not nutso-ball soup they came to him.
Nick walks in with Sgt. Wu (about damn time) and Wu pontificates that “In the last six hours you’ve arrested six felons, you’ve saved a damsel in distress and reunited a family, while I filled out three dozen overtime reports and scrubbed out the coffee maker. Yeah, we’ve all put in a rich, full day.”
Where were Wu?
Nick tries to explain to Hank what happened that day, but Hank doesn’t want to hear it. He’s just glad to know that even if he is crazy, at least he’s not alone.
Phone call from the hospital to Nick telling him that Juliette is ready to go home and he should come get her. They arrive at her house and she turns on some lights, notices a broken window, and lulls me into a coma of boredom. “Goodnight Nick”. “Goodnight Juliette”. Goodnight John Boy.
