So who besides me has missed this poor excuse of an actress?

It’s been a while, so if you have forgotten where we are, please scan over some of the past few recaps. Basically, Juliette is a snore but Renard loves her. Hank is finally in on the secret. Rosalee is sitting vigil with her dying aunt. Adalind is back but powerless (and in jail). Wu needs more airtime. And Nick likes to stare at things provocatively and has found out that Juliette and Renard are a hot ticket.

Even though most of the episode consists of flashbacks to previous story lines, let’s give it a go… We start right where we ended with Monroe showing Nick a clip of Captain Renard on the TV. He tells Nick that this is the man that he saw making out with Juliette. While I feel that Nick should be rejoicing, he seems to get upset. He tells Monroe that the man is his boss. Monroe trips all over himself and tries to settle Nick down and to “pause and take a deep breath” before going off half-cocked. (Half-cocked, haha.) As he’s leaving, he gets a call from Sgt. Wu about 4 dead bodies that were found. Monroe thinks the distraction will be good for Nick, but Nick reminds Monroe that they were the ones who killed them.
So this is the police captain, and you’re a detective… I can’t believe you know each other.
Yeah, it’s a shocker you nimwit.
Captain Renard is over at Nick’s trailer with an owl-man. The man is a locksmith because Captain Renard needs to get inside to find that key. He looks in like two places and then he gets a call about the 4 dead people, so he has to take off. We he arrives at the murder scene, he and Nick give either other telling looks, while Sgt. Wu tries to fill them in on the crime at hand. Speaking of hands, Sgt. Wu notices that they all have the same dagger tattoos on the palms of their hands. Captain Renard gets a call from Juliette and she’s whining because Nick has moved out and she’s having a really hard time and doesn’t know what to do. Instead of rushing to her side, Captian Renard goes to his office and calls his buddy in Austria. He tells him that 4 Verrats were killed and he’s worried that their alliance the Resistance might be dangerous. Nick and Sgt. Wu come in with video surveillance from the night of the murders and the only person they see is Monroe. Thankfully no one recognizes him, except Nick, and he tells them that he’s probably not involved and the matter is dropped. Sgt. Wu swears he’s seen him before, but he can’t place him. Sgt. Wu notices that Captain Renard is a hot mess and suggests that he go home for the night.
If you like it, spread it!:

I want to know how the hell Adalind got a positive pregnant test result so fast??? Didn’t she JUST have sex? Her uterus probably doesnt even realize she’s pregnant yet, how does EPT??
Juliette still sucks. Maybe since Nick drank the potion both him and Renard will both realize she’s not worth it and both ditch her. Let Nick stay at Monroe’s. That’s got to be more interesting than living with Juliette.
Love the screen shot captions!
Juliette. Zzzzzzzz. I also missed #shirtlessrage. Love the caption recaps!
What does Nick see in Juliette? Shes about as exciting as a tree stump.
They need to find a magic potion to give her a personality.
I’m so happy the show is back! I’m also glad your recaps are back… it’s a win/win all the way around. I didn’t realize how many times a phone call “saved the day” until you pointed it out. Thank god for cell phones!
I can deal with Juliette and her bad acting. I’ve put up with Deb from “Dexter” all these years, so she’s a walk in the park.
Loved the recap, and the screen grabs! Awesome stuff. So great to be back with the Juliette hate!!!
SOOOO glad Grimm and the awesome re-caps are back. I was having withdrawals, it was so long. Stupid NBC.
I’m with Chooch – Juliette could be worse.
Bitsie Tulloch is such a terrible actress that I felt compelled to google how bad others think she is. Please fire her (out of a cannon into the sun). If she was amazingly hot I might be able to understand why they hired her/keep her on. She is not, her makeup is massively overblown and her acting… I could do better.
