Grimm Recap: The Bottle Imp or There’s No Wu In Team

Declined? Oh… it’s the banks fault. ALWAYS blame the bank.

 Saddest Wesen ever.

Hi, I saw on Craigslist that you were selling mugs.

Sgt. Wu, as always, is on scene first at the gas station and has basically solved the crime by the time he introduces Nick and Hank to the bloody carnage. The deceased is Leo Stiles. He was found by his girlfriend who had come up to visit him. There are two security cameras, but one was destroyed.

Wu totally deserves a detective shield.

Wu: I’ve been up since 6am.      Nick: I’ve been up since 8am.   Hank: I’m still high on Xanax.

I’ve been dead since last night.

The father/daughter team are still driving around, but dad is having a rough time keeping it together. The daughter says “these are the times that try man’s souls”. (When I am having a rough time, my daughter says things like “you should take me shopping”.)

Dad, are we poor? Why do you have an iPhone 4?

Anywho, they are out of gas and are sitting in a parking lot, when they spot a guy in a pickup truck pulling in to have a bit to eat at a café.

Sgt. Wu is showing Nick and Hank and Cpt. Renard the security footage from the gas station and they don’t see much. Sgt. Wu says that the declined cards belong to William Robert Granger and that the license plate is registered to someone by that name. Cpt. Renard, no slouch detective either, notices that one of the cameras shows that William has a girl in the car. Renard thinks he’s a rage killer and that they need to get to his house to protect his wife. Nick and Hank just take notes and Hank is probably ready for a nap.

Have you guys seen the documentary, Zoo? It’s a hoot.

Truck guy leaves café and William Granger follows him to his pickup and asks for a ride. He says no at first, but then the little girl, April, leans over and pleads for the kindness of strangers and he caves. Probs bad idea.

Please sir, give us a ride, I have to get home to my sister wives.

At the apothecary, a short, staggering guy with balance/ear issues comes to see Monroe. It’s Leroy. He really wants to see Rosalee, but he has such trouble walking, that he’s willing to take anyone’s help. He woges into a rat and Monroe does his best to calm him down while he finishes his potion.

It's never too soon. It's never too far. And it's never the wrong time.

I think after 18 she learns how to control it, the problem is her “puberty” came before she could know what to do . . .
