Grimm Recap: The Good Shepherd, B-a-a-a-a-d Sheep

Forgive me, Father for they have sinned.

Blutbad and Sellengut sittin’ in a tree… K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

He also sees a digital clock and gets pissed (he’s a clock maker in case anyone has forgotten).

Digital clock, meh.

And back to David in the house, he unfolds a piece of paper to show what he is looking for… I guess it could look like a key, but it looks like a pair of pliers to me.

So I’m looking for a pair of pliers. Got it.

He doesn’t find the pliers, but he does find an engagement ring, and I cheer in hopes that he steals it. But apparently Nuckelavee’s are suckers for pathetic love. My black heart would have hocked that ring in a heartbeat.

I’ll just put this back in case that dude wants to make the biggest mistake of his life.

Juliette comes home and David morphs into a jackass (okay, a horse), and hides. Juliette is so oblivious she doesn’t see him in the mirror or get any sense that something is amiss. (When I come home, I can tell if someone has drunk one of my Diet Cokes without even opening the fridge. I just know. Because it’s that important).

No friends, no texts… but there’s a horse behind you.

Hink give Renard a quick recap (a recap within a recap) and have called Megan in to find out her role in this mess, since they know she’s more than just an assistant to the Reverend. They have even found out that Megan and her first husband were members of the Reverend’s last church and that her first husband stole $400,000 from the church and left her in the dust.

First episode where Hank hasn’t had a nap.

As she’s being interrogated, she becomes frightened by Nick and bleets her innocence. Hank tells her that even though Nick is a Grimm, he’s not that baaaaaad. (Totally cracking myself up here.)

Lambda Chi Alpha called, they want their mascot back.

Megan later tells the Reverend that everything was fine with the cops, but then suggests they just take the money and bolt. So the story unfolds that Norman wasn’t the thief, but that they plotted to set him up so they could run away to the islands themselves.

Nick is in the world’s roomiest airstream trailer looking up some pictures.

Now this is the size home I could clean.

It's never too soon. It's never too far. And it's never the wrong time.

So the baby will be half sheep and half wolf. Will it be a vege or a carnivore?
Sheep look cute when they’re babies but the males become vicious monsters who head butt people (well me) unexpectedly when they are not paying attention. I fully believe if provoked a herd of sheep would attack a wolf.
I agree Juliet needs to go. She has no manners. Of course she should have told Nick she was going out. Even if they are only housemates at the moment it is only courtesy to let him know.

The umbrella plot is frustrating me with its vagueness. Shouldn’t we be moving beyond the dark hint stage with Renard? I feel like the writers keep giving themselves chances to tweak it. What was the point of having Adalinde lose her powers if she’s just going to get them back next episode?
Re killing off a main character: If it is Juliette, it should have happened at the end of last season when it would have had some semblance of shock value. I really want to like this show, and I keep hanging in there, but I wish it would make up its mind about where it’s going.

One more question: What happened to Renard having to become “pure” to kiss Juliette? Was that just a temporary thing? If so, that was quite a lot of time wasted!

@bluedog, if Juliette should have told nick she was going out… As a courtesy, then nick may have wanted to mention that he’s some sort of mythical being with magic powers that might bring great harm to the house. But either way, I think she should go out. For good. Also, I’m sorry about your sheep experience, I had a similar issue with an angry goose when I was younger.

@maryedith, totally agree that the master plot is plodding along, if not forgotten at times. Maybe the writers are trying to figure out how to keep us watching… But there are alot of discrepancies. But as for Renard becoming pure… Let’s just remember, it did allow us to see #shirtlessrage. And for that alone, I am happy. They are saying Monroe’s ex is coming back too… Why can’t hank get a girl?

Oh well, it’s a pretty good show. Not the best. Not the worst… And I do love the special effects.

    Thanks for reading.
