I totally partied too hard for Hank Day’s Eve.
Are shirts optional on Hank’s Day? Yes.
Nick and Hank go to talk to ex Detective Anderson. He is 100% positive that Craig was and is guilty. He says that the brothers were not armed, so it couldn’t have been self-defense. Hank reminds him that Craig claimed that the guys were cannibals, but Anderson doesn’t buy it and says that their search turned up nada.
Hey yo! It’s my day.
Over at Nick’s house, Juliette is having tea with some new, random girlfriend (because the show just realized that Juliette is a flat as Flat Stanley and then need to give her dimension by adding more characters). My husband made the comment that the girlfriend’s head was the same shape as her mug. (Makes it easy to see why I love him, right?) Anyway, they are talking about Juliette’s feelings towards Nick and then she lets it slip that there’s someone else. The friend is all intrigued and wants details… but Juliette even makes “another man” boring. She says she’s not sleeping with anyone, but that she can’t stop thinking about Mr. Complicated. (That’s Renard. I hope she knows that we have names for her too, and they aren’t nearly as kind. Ms. Braindead-Boring-Annoying-Self-Serving-Whore-Cow.)
So, you’re not sleeping with Nick?
And you’re not sleeping with Renard?
Who’s Nick?
Who’s Renard?
I’m in love with Hank.
Anyway, back to Hank’s big night… they head over to Craig’s wife’s house. She recognizes Hank and doesn’t really want to talk to them, but she does after they convince her that they are trying to relook at the case and have some questions. She invites them in and says that Craig came back from the war a different man and that he did have some problems with drinking and out-of-control behavior, but that he was still fundamentally a good person. She said that he has tried to convince himself and others that he is crazy and has tried to push her out of his life, but she would have none of that. She pulled out a box of letters and showed them the letters and also the pictures that he had drawn of the “monsters” that attacked him. She puts them in touch with Craig’s public defender and hopes for the best.
So, you’re upset because you feel left out, Nick?
If you like it, spread it!:

Another awesome recap, and you’re almost done!!! I’m glad I’m reading these, how did I miss the whole flash back in the beginning . . . sigh . . . I liked Hank’s drawing the best too!!!
And I did a spit take on the seafoot gumbo . . . my coworker blessed me like I sneezed!!!! HAHAHA!!!!
Loved the recap and the multiple references to Hank’s Day! I, too, hope that Juliette is not long for this show but I fear that they are keeping her around. Free Monroe!
a great recap again! these are highly entertaining
Great recap! that was a sweet personal note about your husband. He sounds funny too; I bet y’all are never bored together!
@juddfan, at least you have coworkers… i have three dogs and a frog… and then never give me anything…
@pikey578… what do we do? i read other sites and most people can’t stand her.. i have at least 372 ways to kill her off…
@xanadu… thank you… i do my best. and i love this show… just wish we could make a drinking game out of juliette’s “quizzical look”… the world would be drunk.. and possibly like her.
The Juliette’s quizzical looks drinking game is an amazing idea.
This episode was entertaining, but there definitely was not nearly enough Monroe. I love his cute little cardigans. There better be lots of more of him next week.
And more Renard. Preferably naked.
But less Juliette. We were cool until she started touching Renard inappropriately.
Now I wish her dead.
It’s kind of sad that all Wesen go to jail.
Awesome recap as usual!!
And I read Bitsie Tulloch’s bio. She did the majors where you don’t actually do anything.
Lazy betch. bwahahaha.
