Grimm Recap: To Protect And Serve Man or How Hank Stole The Show

Well, I’m still a better drawer than Hank.

I drew this.

 That’s very good, Hank.

Yeah, well I drew this. Suck on THAT, btch!

Sorry Nick, you lost that drawing contest.

On the way back to the station, Nick and Hank decide to drive by Kreski’s old house to see if maybe there would be a way to find out if they buried any human remains, but when they get there, they find that the old house is now a grocery store. Urban sprawl… a cannibal’s dream.

In Renard’s office he pulls out his phone and calls Juliette. She is at her house doing some paperwork (I swear my vet is at an office more in a week than she has been in two years). She answers and keeps that constant perplexed look on her face while he says that they need to do something about what’s going on between them. She says that they should just never see each other again, but Renard says that the desire is too great and that she must feel it too. She says she does. He tells her that he might have a way to put a stop to this, but that he will need her to go someplace with him. She agrees. (Hey Renard, call your agent… fire him if he doesn’t make this entire thing go away.)

I’m looking at Hank’s drawing right now.

It’s really super good, isn’t it?

Sht. Yes… it’s awesome.

This episode is totes not about us.

Thankfully Sgt. Wu interrupts his call and says that the DA is there and wants a word with him. Renard awkwardly hangs up the call with Juliette and she makes another grimacy face.

Hey, it’s not about me either!

 The world will forget us.

At the grocery store, Nick says that maybe they can use sonar to see if there are bodies buried under the store, but for now they decide they better go talk to Renard.

Hey look! Hank’s grocery shopping.

They walk right into Renard’s office, totally ignoring Wu when he tells them that Renard has a guest. (Jerks.) The DA had just been telling Renard that she didn’t appreciate his detectives going to visit Craig, but Renard said it was the first he heard of it. She reminds Hank that he had a big role in convicting Craig, so what was he doing? Hank says this isn’t about what he did 7 years ago and Nick adds that they are finding more and more facts that support Craig’s story about the brothers having been a threat to him that night. The DA leaves and isn’t too happy and Hank thinks it’s because she’s about to run for mayor. Renard reminds them that they don’t currently have any evidence for her, but that he will support them. They had just better be right.

Loved the recap and the multiple references to Hank’s Day! I, too, hope that Juliette is not long for this show but I fear that they are keeping her around. Free Monroe!

@juddfan, at least you have coworkers… i have three dogs and a frog… and then never give me anything…

@pikey578… what do we do? i read other sites and most people can’t stand her.. i have at least 372 ways to kill her off…

@xanadu… thank you… i do my best. and i love this show… just wish we could make a drinking game out of juliette’s “quizzical look”… the world would be drunk.. and possibly like her.

The Juliette’s quizzical looks drinking game is an amazing idea.

This episode was entertaining, but there definitely was not nearly enough Monroe. I love his cute little cardigans. There better be lots of more of him next week.
    And more Renard. Preferably naked.
But less Juliette. We were cool until she started touching Renard inappropriately.
    Now I wish her dead.

It’s kind of sad that all Wesen go to jail.

    Awesome recap as usual!!

And I read Bitsie Tulloch’s bio. She did the majors where you don’t actually do anything.
    Lazy betch. bwahahaha.
