Grimm Recap: To Protect And Serve Man or How Hank Stole The Show

 Dance, motha-fker.

 Phew… that dance is exhausting.

At the jail, Craig has been strapped to the bed where he will be given a lethal injection. His wife is there and devastated. The Governor (I’m guessing) is there. The first tube of death juice is pushed into his system, but then the phone rings. The Governor jumps up, answers it, and immediately stops the execution. I love that he doesn’t ask any questions or have any reaction… just a man doing his job. Craig and his wife are both so thrilled. They have a 12 hour stay. I wouldn’t be completely thrilled. But I’m a pessimist. I see the plunger as half empty, not half full.

Um, hello? Don’t I get a last dance?

 Not even last call?

Extend Hank’s Day by 12 hours? Done.

 Praise Hank! Another 12 hours.

Over at the grocery store where the Kreski brothers used to live, the police are digging up the produce section, and sure enough, they find a ton of skeletons of past dinner guests. Sgt. Wu, in all of his awesomeness, says “Clean up in Aisle 4”. Classic Wu.

A lot of good 12 hours will do us.

They did the Hankie. And then they died, it’s not an easy dance.

Hank goes to visit Craig who is still in prison. Craig asks him if he saw the monsters too, but Hank doesn’t give him a straight answer; but basically he says he didn’t see these monsters, but yeah, he’s seen monsters.

 Thanks for picking my drawing.

At the apothecary, Monroe is closing down shop in order to prepare for Renard’s obsession cure/ritual. He is in the back pouring tea or something when Juliette and Renard walk inside. Juiette’s all “I’m not sure about this” and Renard’s all “here let’s just make out and creep the world out”… so while they’re going at it, Monroe walks out and tries to get their attention. When they finally realize they’re not alone, they stop mackin’ each other and Juliette turns and makes eye contact with Monroe. Monroe’s all “Holy Cow” and Juliette’s all “meh”.

Whoop-dee-doo… More of the elusive Hank, less of me.

And I’ve been working so hard on crafting a new stupid look.

Loved the recap and the multiple references to Hank’s Day! I, too, hope that Juliette is not long for this show but I fear that they are keeping her around. Free Monroe!

@juddfan, at least you have coworkers… i have three dogs and a frog… and then never give me anything…

@pikey578… what do we do? i read other sites and most people can’t stand her.. i have at least 372 ways to kill her off…

@xanadu… thank you… i do my best. and i love this show… just wish we could make a drinking game out of juliette’s “quizzical look”… the world would be drunk.. and possibly like her.

The Juliette’s quizzical looks drinking game is an amazing idea.

This episode was entertaining, but there definitely was not nearly enough Monroe. I love his cute little cardigans. There better be lots of more of him next week.
    And more Renard. Preferably naked.
But less Juliette. We were cool until she started touching Renard inappropriately.
    Now I wish her dead.

It’s kind of sad that all Wesen go to jail.

    Awesome recap as usual!!

And I read Bitsie Tulloch’s bio. She did the majors where you don’t actually do anything.
    Lazy betch. bwahahaha.
