MrsMiaWallace is an east coast girl with a  penchant for travel, libations and great cuisine. She is not known to turn down a mimosa or a martini and finds the transition between the two a good way to mark the passing of time since she can never remember to wear a watch. Her secret love for reality tv and addiction to Bravo have drawn her like a moth to the glittering snark of TVGasm,  where she finds there are others like her... hopefully also nursing Bloody Marys.

I got my boyfriend to watch Season 1 a couple of weeks ago, which he finished in 1 week. Last night at the end of the show, this is what you heard in my living room:

    Me: “OH, SNAP!!”
Him: “FUUUUUUUCK!! I can’t wait a whole week!”

Which pretty much sums up every episode. I love this show! :D

I watched season one marathon style a few days before season two began. Having to wait a week between episodes now is killing me!

In other news, your recap is awesome, and I can’t imagine it’s at all easy to recap such an intense show with such dark subject matter. Keep up the good work!!

As for the episode… The last scene of Saul and the video were jaw dropping. Here’s hoping he keeps the under wraps for long enough to actually nail Brody…no giving anymore hints while drunk in parking lots or on secret trips to the woods, please. I assume the person Brody texted was the reporter chick, but assuming a) a junior congressman would even be allowed in that room in the first place, b) be allowed to bring a phone in, and c) successfully send a text (I find it hard to believe secret Pentagon rooms are wifi hotspots), HOW did said text make it through the multiple handlers probably required to relay a message to Nazir himself. I’m pretty good about suspending disbelief for the sake of a great plot, but this really pissed me off. There had to have been a more believable way of allowing for a Nazir getaway.

The scene with reporter chick proves Brody isn’t as conflicted as he pretends. All the bullshit about being a representative and texting next to the joint chiefs…this was his out of he truly weren’t on board with Nazir.

Here’s hoping Carrie somehow teams up with Mike and Lauder to get to the bottom of some things.

“What’s going on. Who are we trying to kill?” Says Brody..like he walked in late after the movie started… Seriously????? Sending a text from a cell phone that my grandmother uses? ??? C’mon writers, we are smarter than this…aren’t we?
