The judges tells Jamie that his piece was good but that the flowers were too much of an afterthought and that he should have made more contrast with the waves. Jesse’s piece is really well received and one of the closest to traditional pieces of all the artists. Sebastian’s tiger looked more like a person wearing a tiger suit humping the rock it is perched on. Oh Oliver. Steve’s piece is called out for not transforming the koi into a dragon cleaner and for missing a fin/claw. Then Chris goes in on Steve telling him that he is basically on autopilot and not passionate enough when it comes to styles he doesn’t normally do. Steve takes offense but then Chris says that people picked on Jesse for his big eyes and teeth but now he is showing that he can adapt where others aren’t. Kat’s piece is called boring and that it doesn’t fit with the curves of the body.

Sarah is told that her piece isn’t well balanced because the doll is smaller than elements in the background which drown it out. Sarah starts with her speech about putting herself and soul into the tattoo and Oliver cuts her off and tells her they didn’t ask her to put herself into the tattoo, they asked for Japanese. Chris tells her she needs to shake off the last critique because she pretty much scared them. Clint walks up and starts by saying that Jamie did wonders for him since he knew he had issues with the dragon from the flash challenge. Mike tells him that he is acting like a victim when the client is the real victim. He points out that the dragon’s anatomy looks like it was thrown into a ball and that the scales are too tight. Clint points out that he couldn’t do a large piece like everyone else so he did what he could manage. Chris tells him it’s not a dick challenge where size matters and that he should have just done a clean job. Oliver backs up that it was a fucking mess that looks like it was beaten and shot in the head…ohhh echo. That’s exactly what Jamie said earlier. Oliver then says everyone, not just Clint, messed up and learned nothing from the Traditional challenge which was a precursor for this challenge. He says that they should have done some research since they weren’t familiar with the subject and that it is always clear at the beginning what is expected in each challenge from them.

Oh look Steve’s changed faces and decided to hang out with Clint again…Steve starts with saying that it was a big sarcastic surprise the judges didn’t like any of their pieces and that if Jesse wins it is bullshit. He says that Jesse basically did a flash piece and took the easy way out. The real reason why Steve is being a whiny bitch (this time) is because he took offense to the judges saying he was on autopilot and didn’t really care or have passion for this piece. He thinks they were questioning his manhood and integrity. WHAT? No one said you had a small dick they said you cruised on this piece…WHICH YOU DID. Oliver calls in Jesse, Kat, Clint and Steve and hi terrible editing when a flash of Sarah and Clint is shown on the screen. LOL.

Let’ s have a moment of silence for my bby Clint. </3
Because seriously? The fuck I'm sooooo devastated! Sebastian is so skating by the skin of his teeth, I don't even know why the judges made this decision. I'm not going to say Clint was the most talented guy there but he was an amazing technical artist who has more or less been able to show he was good every week. Sebastian doesn't even have that. Sebastian and Mark are one and the same to me- they're probs good amongst their friends, but put against real talent they fail. Sebastian or Google Eyes better go home next week or I'm about done with this show.
Boo, judges! Boo.
Tonight’s episode is a perfect example of why I’d never want to get a tattoo on this show. Imagine getting stuck with a guy like Jesse who has one style they do and if you don’t want that style (or the challenge is directly asking for another style) then too fucking bad. He’s not the only one that’s done it, Sarah will fight tooth and nail to get you to change what you want to make her life easier, but for some reason it annoys me most when he does it. Probably because his one style is so narrow.
Also it drives me nuts how combative everyone on this show is! Any critique at all, even from the judges on the show they voluntarily signed up for, and they throw massive hissy-fits. When they can’t let the judges finish talking, I just want to smack them and tell them to grow the fuck up. /rant
Cap-cha: hot-blooded XD
I was so sad Clint was sent home
So sad…
I also dislike how they show each contestant smirking when someone gets critiqued. It’s like they all have contempt for each other…I get it, your competing but can you not be friendly? I get they need a few assholes to make it interesting but the majority of contestants this season are assholes…what gives?
Also…Clint
whhhhyyyyyyy D’:
Also that pic of Sarah glaring… I legit shat myself. Thank you for that XD
@ Kay…..I think the “smirking” thing is just editing, I have a feeling they might be smirking, or making faces at something completley different and it’s edited to make it look like they are hatin’ on the other people.
Like for example, Sarah will be seen up close making a face (what else is new) but immediatley afterwards in a longer camera shot, her face is different and her whole posture has changed. I dunno, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt here.
Sad Clint is gone, he was really growing on me. But sadly, his dragon did look like a jumbled up bowl of Ramen noodles.
The editing on this show is a farce. In one episode, they had contestants, who hadn’t been in the room during the rest of the scene, shown leaving the room.
