At the loft, Sarah complains to the others that no matter what she does she doesn’t win challenges. Kay responds that Sarah barks a lot for no reason instead of focusing on what she needs to do to win. Jamie calls her out and asks how they are supposed to feel bad for someone who gets good critiques and then reminds her that all of them lost. Steve, Jesse, Tacky and Clint are discussing strategy in another room when Jesse tells Clint he should aim for those around his level like Sarah instead of the top and bottom artists. Jesse compares it to swimming from sharks and throwing as many people behind you as possible for safety. Kind of how I trip people when running from…anything. Sarah walks in and everyone gets realllll quiet lol…high school moments.

Running with the theme, the Elimination Challenge will be creating Star Wars tattoos for fans of the series. Clint addresses the potential clients by telling them not to let the artists talk them out of where/what they want for tattoos because they are all good enough to do what these people want. He explains that his strategy is to fuck everyone and that it hasn’t worked with canvas selections because the other artist talk the clients out of what they really want. Damn, who knew Crybaby Clint was so good at strategy and shit? He fucks Jaime by giving him Chewbacca, Jesse by giving him two characters, Kay by giving him an all red character and Sebastian for giving him a fucking ship. At the loft after consultations, Tacky takes her turn to complain about doing the best she can but never winning. Steve wants her gone of course and Kay tells her that her style is only a few notches above street style while the others are professionals. I think he meant that she’s in a different category not that she wasn’t as good as them but it came out completely wrong. Tacky interviews that he has no room to talk because he can’t even create a good tattoo.

Tattoo time begins and Oliver explains that he is looking for recognizable characters brought to life. Jesse’s client says she doesn’t want a floating head on her thigh but that’s actually what she gets after Jesse convinces her that he can only do one complete character. I would have at least picked R2D2 instead of a floating head but it’s not on my body. Jamie’s client is not handling the pain of the tattoo very well so he makes jokes like there being no crying in Star Wars. Chris and Oliver criticize Clint’s choices for canvas selection by saying he gave everyone easy ones. Clint interviews that it’s not their job to criticize who he gives a piece to but how well of a job is done. Busta is pretty realistic when he says that if he does a terrible job it will be a battle of bottoms between him and Mark.

    Mark needs a color wheel, for sure. WTF is he thinking? Something tells me in his circle he is probably considered a good tattoo artist….but when he is surrounded by other artists, you see how terrible he is. I think this is the best he’s ever gonna be, no improvement for him.

    Kutta’s tatt looked like….how do I say this….hmmm…..a vagina and labia. Just gonna say it :P . It was no bueno, and I am glad he’s gone.

    Sarah girl, PLEASE stop making yourself a target by going on and on. Girl you are very talented, Judges gonna hate. They are the bitchiest judges Ive seen on reality TV, it’s just how they are! Get over it!!!

    I gotta say, I was very impressed with Tattoo B’s Yoda! Very awesome, and on second look, her storm trooper helmet was pretty cool! I really liked Steve’s American Flag one…..with the backdrop of NYC, it was really cool.

    It was hysterical how geeked out Sarah and Clint were at the Star Wars theme. I was really surprised at how good Tacky’s Yoda was. Not because she wasn’t familiar with Star Wars, but girl *nailed* that, and the light and shadow she did on that piece was awesome. I had no idea she could be that good. I really have been mostly *meh* about her but may have to rethink. At least until next episode.

    Jamie’s Wookie was pretty fantastic. Those who have said he seems creepy or has creepy eyes is right, though.

    Jesse is good at what he does, which I personally don’t care for at all, but his lack of variety is getting old. Has anyone else noticed that those big teeth he always does look EXACTLY LIKE his own teeth??!

    Has anyone watched Tattoo Nightmares? Some of those before tattoos are just jawdroppingly awful. I love it!
    Sarah is really talented but needs to stfu already. I was watching a replay of this season today on Spike, and in one of her confessionals a few episodes ago she was bitching about Tacky Baby acting like a whining little brat over the judges’ critiques and TB needs to suck it up…um, take your own advice.

    Omgggg what foul sorcery is this?
    Mark is sucking dicks. That’s the only explanation I have. He is sucking dicks and he is doing a damn good job of it too, because there is no other reason for him to be here. What are the judges smoking? Whatever it is, I want some too so I can see the world that they see, because in this world, Mark needed to go home. He’s putting this fucked up stuff on real people with real skin who have to look at that shit everyday! I mean, when I saw the tattoo, it took me a minute to even figure out what it was or what was happening in it.
    Then Jamie actually told him not to put the purple in there and Mark did it anyway. I wonder what the judges would have done if they knew about that. Ugh I am so annoyed right now, I can’t.

    And I agree that Sarah is jealous of Katherine. It could be editing, but it really seems like she’s obsessed, with the way she constantly compares their work even when no one else is and won’t give Katherine a compliment on anything ever.
    Like with the Yoda tattoo, I was annoyed that she kept calling it easy because it wasn’t. It was a simple tattoo, but to execute at that level is not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it and there would be no point to this show. But Katherine hasn’t really done anything that good before today, so it’ll be interesting to see if this was a lucky fluke or if she’s legitimately tattoos at that level consistently.

    Oliver’s hair was so beautiful and soft-looking. Like a unicorn’s. I wonder what conditioner he uses.

    Sarah is a very good artist, but holy fuck I am so sick of her watching and crying. She needs to shut the fuck up.
