Mark asks Jamie for advice on background colors but ends up ignoring his advice and going with a darker color. Jamie explains the obvious that Mark has no idea about color theory…maybe his ass is color blind and he only sees like…black and blue? The challenge finishes up and back at the loft Kay attempts to call out Clint for being disloyal since Kay looked out for Clint when he selected canvas’. Clint explains he gave harder shit to Jesse and Jamie and Steve of course says it is funny that Busta is complaining about being screwed over by others. Jesse explains that Clint is shooting for the middle players and asks where Kay would shoot. He replies that he’s gangsta and going to shoot up at the top because he’s going to die anyway. Tacky gets a lot of praise on her tattoo from the judges and Chris tells her that the ones underestimating her got knocked off. Sarah also gets praised from the judges for listening to their past critiques and improving. Mark, Kay and Sebastian are all around the bottom as well as Steve who is told by Chris that this could send him home despite his previous wins.

At the loft, Steve gives props to Sarah and Tacky with Jesse saying that his top three in order were Tacky, Jamie and then Sarah. Sarah gets mad defensive and says that the other tats were not as technical as hers and that she even looked up the definition of contrast to ensure she was on point. Shit you guys she used the dictionary as her defense. She even says that as a student of art she has a better understanding than everyone else. They all look at her like she has lost her damn mind and Steve says that she will likely have a mental breakdown if she doesn’t win. I wonder if she would have acted the same way if Cee Jay was still in the running or if there were more than one girl present. It’s really looking like jealousy at this point because Tacky is a good artist (in my opinion, I like her street style). Jamie then calls out Mark for not listening to his advice and Mark says he feels like he is embarrassing himself… which he totes is at this point.

Dave’s favorites are Sarah and Jamie which both displayed contrast the best. Tacky lands on the top as well and Chris says that while he knew Sarah was talented he had no idea that Tacky was too. I don’t know if that is a compliment or not but I’m sure Tacky would appreciate some acknowledgment. Kay and Mark are on the bottom along with Steve whose tattoo turned out too cartoony. As Oliver walks in Kay yells out that Oli must have missed him and tells him he will meet him downstairs right away. Oliver calls down Tacky, Kay, Mark and Sarah with Sarah and Tacky on top. Sarah looks like she is about to burst into tears when Tacky is declared the winner.

    Mark needs a color wheel, for sure. WTF is he thinking? Something tells me in his circle he is probably considered a good tattoo artist….but when he is surrounded by other artists, you see how terrible he is. I think this is the best he’s ever gonna be, no improvement for him.

    Kutta’s tatt looked like….how do I say this….hmmm…..a vagina and labia. Just gonna say it :P . It was no bueno, and I am glad he’s gone.

    Sarah girl, PLEASE stop making yourself a target by going on and on. Girl you are very talented, Judges gonna hate. They are the bitchiest judges Ive seen on reality TV, it’s just how they are! Get over it!!!

    I gotta say, I was very impressed with Tattoo B’s Yoda! Very awesome, and on second look, her storm trooper helmet was pretty cool! I really liked Steve’s American Flag one…..with the backdrop of NYC, it was really cool.

    It was hysterical how geeked out Sarah and Clint were at the Star Wars theme. I was really surprised at how good Tacky’s Yoda was. Not because she wasn’t familiar with Star Wars, but girl *nailed* that, and the light and shadow she did on that piece was awesome. I had no idea she could be that good. I really have been mostly *meh* about her but may have to rethink. At least until next episode.

    Jamie’s Wookie was pretty fantastic. Those who have said he seems creepy or has creepy eyes is right, though.

    Jesse is good at what he does, which I personally don’t care for at all, but his lack of variety is getting old. Has anyone else noticed that those big teeth he always does look EXACTLY LIKE his own teeth??!

    Has anyone watched Tattoo Nightmares? Some of those before tattoos are just jawdroppingly awful. I love it!
    Sarah is really talented but needs to stfu already. I was watching a replay of this season today on Spike, and in one of her confessionals a few episodes ago she was bitching about Tacky Baby acting like a whining little brat over the judges’ critiques and TB needs to suck it up…um, take your own advice.

    Omgggg what foul sorcery is this?
    Mark is sucking dicks. That’s the only explanation I have. He is sucking dicks and he is doing a damn good job of it too, because there is no other reason for him to be here. What are the judges smoking? Whatever it is, I want some too so I can see the world that they see, because in this world, Mark needed to go home. He’s putting this fucked up stuff on real people with real skin who have to look at that shit everyday! I mean, when I saw the tattoo, it took me a minute to even figure out what it was or what was happening in it.
    Then Jamie actually told him not to put the purple in there and Mark did it anyway. I wonder what the judges would have done if they knew about that. Ugh I am so annoyed right now, I can’t.

    And I agree that Sarah is jealous of Katherine. It could be editing, but it really seems like she’s obsessed, with the way she constantly compares their work even when no one else is and won’t give Katherine a compliment on anything ever.
    Like with the Yoda tattoo, I was annoyed that she kept calling it easy because it wasn’t. It was a simple tattoo, but to execute at that level is not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it and there would be no point to this show. But Katherine hasn’t really done anything that good before today, so it’ll be interesting to see if this was a lucky fluke or if she’s legitimately tattoos at that level consistently.

    Oliver’s hair was so beautiful and soft-looking. Like a unicorn’s. I wonder what conditioner he uses.

    Sarah is a very good artist, but holy fuck I am so sick of her watching and crying. She needs to shut the fuck up.
