“Me and Sam arguing right now is because Sam doesn’t like to eat before she goes out, and I always feel like you should put fuel in the tank before you start filling it up with vodka,” Ronnie explains. Again, totally valid. For now, Ron-Ron 1, Sammi 0. Ronnie heads toward the exit, and Sammi reaches out to stop him. He shakes her hand off his arm. “I’m having a good time, are you?” she asks him.
This is totally my “good time” face.
“Let’s go have a great time,” Ronnie says, and it was kind of menacing. “All right, let’s have fun!” Sammi says. Ronnie repeats, “Let’s go have a great time.” This is not going to be fun for anyone.
Sammi tells us that Ron’s upset because he knows she hasn’t eaten so she’s going to get super bombed and he thinks she’s not going to have fun. I don’t think Sammi’s fun is what Ron’s concerned with at the mo’, I think he’s more concerned with his own fun and not having that hampered by a sloppy drunk girlfriend. “Ronnie’s mad at me,” Sammi tells JMomm. “He’s mad at me because I didn’t eat and because I’m miserable. But I don’t think I’m miserable tonight.” JMomm tells Sammi that Ron is drunk. “Ron should just not drink if he wants to stay with Sam,” Jenni interviews, “because the moment Ron gets blacked out, he thinks that his relationship is the worst relationship in the world.” Well, it isn’t the greatest!
Sammi approaches Ronnie at the bar. “What the fuck is your problem?” she asks. “You!” he spits. Trouble in paradise and they’re less than 48 hours into the summer. “What did I do to you?” Sammi yells. “Nothing!” She tells us that Ron is wasted beyond wasted. “And he gets abducted. He definitely gets abducted.”
Remember what I said in the last recap about people’s personalities not really changing when they’re drunk, they’re just less inhibited so things that they normally deliberately suppress are now visible? That’s what’s happening with Ronnie, every time he drinks. Ronnie is an angry drunk who thinks his relationship sucks because that’s what he really thinks somewhere in the back of his mind, and getting black-out drunk gives him a chance to vent those feelings. Also, when someone you’re with drinks to the point where they black out on a regular basis, that is not bueno. Not bueno at all.
Sammi tells us that Ronnie is the girl version of Nicole. I think she meant guy version, but whatever. Back in the club, Ronnie asks Sam, “You wanna have a good time or not?” She tells him that she’s actually having a great time. Ronnie tells her that if she doesn’t want to have a good time with him then she needs to leave him the fuck alone. This is such a healthy relationship. They should totally get married and have like a dozen kids. “I don’t need to be with you if you don’t talk to me!” Ronnie continues. “I have a million girls that can do what you do.”
But… I took those special sex classes and everything!
