I realize that they got the girl’s numbers so that they can arrange what is almost certainly going to be a one time booty call, but this is possibly the most dignified exit a girl who didn’t seal the deal has made from this house. Pauly and Mike agree, telling each other, “that was a good exit.”
It’s morning, and Mike interviews that he’s feeling pretty good. Not so much Jenni and Rawdger, who are sharing a beanbag chair, clearly hurting after their night out. “I don’t want to drink like that again,” moans Jenni, “my head hurts!” Mike tells us, “The one thing that I don’t miss is laying in bed and being like, ‘Oh god, I’m hungover.’ Now I wake up and I’m just excellent.”
Deena tells JMomm that she’s going to skip the gym today. “Sunday will be my skip day.” Jenni says she feels like someone punched her in the eyes. Ah, hangovers. How I do not miss thee. “It’s all right,” Deena tells her, “I was crying. I think I like fell on Vinny a couple times.” “Do you even know why you were crying?” Jenni asks. Deena replies it was because she didn’t want to leave Chris. Snooki comes in the bedroom, and since she got to sleep through all the drama the night before, asks Deena why she was crying. Deena reiterates that it was because she didn’t want to leave Chris. “How was the club, though?” Snooki asks, like any supportive friend would. Deena says it was fun. “It was perfect,” JMomm states. Snooki tells them she could hear the music from the restaurant and was dancing in her seat. Deena tells Snooki that she was looking for her because she wanted Jionni to meet Chris. “But you cried when he left?” Snooki asks. “No, she cried up until he left and after,” Jenni says.
“Like, I get it, Deena really does miss Chris,” Snooki interviews. “But I’m pregnant, my hormones are going crazy, I’m not with my fiance, and I’m not crying! It’s kind of crazy pants.” What the other girls fail to appreciate here is that Deena is working through stuff that Snooki and JMomm had well under their belts in their early teens; this is her first real boyfriend and she’s got so many strange new emotions that she doesn’t know what do do with them all. Deena says that even though she was crying she feels better because she saw Chris.
Ronnie is in the bathroom throwing up. He walks from the bathroom to the kitchen, cranky as all get out. Snooki suggests that he go to EJ’s for a beer. I’ve never tried the “hair of the dog” method for a hangover — anybody want to weigh in on its efficacy? Ron sits down next to Sammi and asks where everyone is. “I want to apologize if I was mean last night,” he says. Dude, if you can’t remember whether or not you were mean and/or to whom, it’s time to take a break from drinking. He says he blacked out and doesn’t know what happened. Sammi tells him that he was very mean to her, “Probably you did something that probably pissed me off, and you think you didn’t,” he responds.
Blaming the victim: way to man up there, Ron.
