Madison’s attorney sent a cease and desist letter to Heather. JA has gone to the condo that Madison is co-listing to discuss the letter. Once again, I will give a lot of credit to Madison for acting civil toward JA when there is someone else present. JA flat out tells Madison that this letter is bullshit. I think Madison is right. It is the next logical step. If Heather is contacting his clients and bad mouthing Madison and saying things that aren’t true, that is slander. Madison is right to contact his attorney about that. Also, Madison indicates that calling his clients is against the contract she signed. If nothing else, we’ve got a breach of contract here. Again, Madison is right to get legal advice on this.
Madison explains to JA that the letter was a reaction to being assaulted with a glass of wine. JA laughs at the idea of calling this assault. He shouldn’t laugh too hard. It actually was assault because it was a threat of violence. Also, it could be considered battery. According to Black’s Law Dictionary, “battery” is: “Any unlawful beating, or other wrongful physical violence or constraint, inflicted on a human being without his consent.” I’m pretty sure you can consider Heather’s actions “violent.” Did Madison get hurt? No. However, Heather was clearly in the wrong and, in most jurisdictions, Madison would be right in taking legal action.
Sorry, that’s the end of my legal rant. Would I have contacted an attorney after someone threw a drink at me? Probably not. However, I can see where Madison is right to do so – especially considering the professional setting of the evening in question.
As expected, Madison stays calm and explains his side to JA. JA acts just like we all knew he would and starts throwing out personal insults. He even says, “Act like a man.” When in doubt, questions someone’s manhood. Totally a solid argument there.
The personification of immaturity.
My favorite part is when JA leaves. He actually says, “You only get one reputation. You don’t want to be known as that guy who doesn’t pay his assistants.” JA should probably worry more about his own reputation. I’m willing to bet that there are more people who would rather deal with Madison than JA. Also, Madison would be known as not paying his assistant a bonus after she was fired. I think that’s someone I would wantto work for. JA will just be known as the guy who brings personal issues to open houses and then throws a temper tantrum.
We’re back at JF’s condo. Yay! I need a break after dealing with JA so much. I have to say, I adore JA’s pajamas.
To cute for words!
JF calls Ina, the potential buyer’s agent. Sandy has agreed to take the offer for $2.9 million offer. He thinks that all cash and the quick closing was the big selling point. I guess I got my wish. Someone made an offer and the seller say, “Yeah, we’ll take it!” I love how low drama JF is all the time!
*Sigh* We’re back with JA. Why has he been in so much of this episode? The price reduction on the house worked because someone is ready to make an offer. Dave is the potential buyer. I really love his studio. He takes vintage aircraft and makes functional art out of it. I’m such an aviation nerd! I want his DC-9 engine coffee table. Getting right down to business, Jason, the buyer’s agent, says that the offer is for $3.1 million. JA knows flat out that it won’t be enough.
Oh, good. JF and Colton again. Colton is taking JF to the gym for a personal training session. JF is already a cutie. If he gets toned up, Colton is going to be a verylucky man.
JA is on the phone with John about the offer. Surprise, surprise! John is a dick about it and thinks the house is worth more (drink!). John is going to get is wastedby the end of the episode. JA gets authorization to sell the house for $3.2 million. However, he tries to get $3.3 million out of the buyer. Dave doesn’t think that they’ve come down enough. Based on a contracting estimating that $75,000 would be needed for Dave to redo the house. JA suggests that they buy the house for $3.25 million and Dave agrees.
So, that’s it for the episode! It looks like there is going to be something quite tragic in Madison’s family. I don’t mean “train wreck and fun to watch tragic.” He mentions losing a family member. On a happier note, we’re going to see Grandma Edith!!!!!
See you next week!

I think the reason JA is so mad at Madison is this: he didn’t realize that he was going to end up supporting Heather! All of a sudden she prob is not making any money and he is footing the bill. Visits to the hair salon, mani-pedis, car payment etc. This is why he is hounding Madison to pay Heather money Madison does not owe to her! Yes, JA is tired of supporting her but what’s he gonna do? If he breaks up with her he looks really bad. He’s stuck with her and he knows it.
From the looks of things, Heather does appear to be the unemployed, live-in girlfriend. I’ve forgotten if the condo she and JA were listing together (the listing that caused Madison to fire her) was shown on the show as having sold. Supposedly, if JA and Heather did a good job, the owner of the building was gonna give Heather her very own listing to sell.
I was always team JA (sorry). In the past – he always seemed to be the only one selling or working or something – I don’t know. He is shed in a different life this time around it’s unfortunate.
I found some website that is called something like celeberty net wort. It lists Madison as having the most $$ something like 14 million and the 2 Josh’s as having 3 and 31/2 million each. I think Josh Flag could care less who has more money ..( I got A Simple Girl today!!! and I haven’t stopped reading it ..I am done with her story and put the book down for the rest of the day/night ..will read about Holland and WW11 the last section of the book next), because in A Simple Girl Edith stated(more than once )..it isn’t money that interested her..and her parents taught her to be humble which she passed onto her son (and I am sure to her step granddaughter and Josh as well). The more Josh grows up the more humble he seems
…but JA another story ..he is out to sell his mother, Heather anyone to make a buck I am sure.
I think there are many reasons the shit smelling bully tries to pick on Madison.. 1) Madison is better looking. 2) Madison has a nicer body 3) Madison has a nice family
….and last but not least Madison has about 14 million!!!!LOL!!!!
@TV Junkie: I’m glad you got the book! It’s so good. There is a part near the end where she gets her “revenge” on the Nazis. That part moved me to tears! Also, there are some REALLY funny parts after she makes her fortune – mainly because money never interested her. I just submitted my “TVgasm Investigates” piece on the book. It should be up soon.
JA seems like he’s the type of guy who always gets what he wants. When something doesn’t go the way he thinks it should go, he gets insecure. That was so clear in all of his interactions with Madison. When Madison doesn’t back down, JA just starts throwing and temper tantrum and tosses out insults.
Wow. I’m apparently not literate today. “Throwing a temper tantrum…”
I love JF’s over the top desk chair. It makes me laugh every time they show him in it. I always think of those old SNL clips with Gilda Radner as Roseanne Rosannadanna. Or however that should be speller.
I thoroughly enjoyed JA getting called out on his unprofessional attire by that douchey guy. What kind of an idiot takes advice on professional deportment and comportment from their unemployed drink tossing girlfriend? Is he going to let her cut his hair next?
JA seems the type that he doesn’t like gay men showing him up. That could be another reason why he resorts to insults to Madison. Madison was still very under control on WWHL with Miss Andy. However, what was up with JF’s hair?
I love the part where Edith becomes a nurse and dresses in the “nurse uniform” What a great way to run her “bussiness” under the Natzi’s noses…I don’t remember the revenge part , but I am going to reread it. I felt badly for her having to have others raise her baby in hiding..I can not even imange what she was going through at that time…and still putting outhers first and saving lives!
I also loved the part where she was told by her accountant to buy herself a Rolls( that she didn’t want)..I love the fact that after she went to the showroom and the salesman was so bitchy to her and wouldn’t give her the time of day..she and her husband bought one the very next day! No one tells Edith no ..like no one puts baby in the corner!
I wonder if JA is so “afraid of ” Madison and picks on him is because he is attracted to him???
I also belive that his puffly cheeks are puffy, because they are filled with the shit he spits out every time he talks…also notice that Heather’s cheeks and face have been getting puffier too..now it’s back to Edith time….
@TV Junkie: The “revenge” part was such a huge part. She and Josh were in South America (I can’t remember which country) around Hanukkah. People from a nearby synagogue came out and started dancing in the streets to celebrate. When she and Josh got up and started dancing, she said that enjoying her life was her revenge.
I also love the part when she’s in the elevator in her building getting ready to take out her dry cleaning. When a man got in and looked at the way she was dressed, he said, “The help is supposed to use the service elevator.” When they got downstairs, he walked over to the Rolls Royce that the valet had brought up and the valet just said, “No, sir. This is Mrs. Flagg’s car.” Then she got in and drove away. She is the shit.
OMG I can’t stop..I also loved it when she was in her building elevator with her dry cleaning and a bandanna in her hair and some snotty man told her that there is another elevator for the help..did Edith tell him off??? NOPE she just said something like “I know” and got into her Rolls in front of him ( after he thought it was his rolls….since he apparently had the same car)
I can’t wait for the new thread on the book to start up..so many stories…what a wonderful family!
OMG PP We were writing at the same time! I do remember that part in BA…wonderful I would like to see more dancing on the show..Perhaps Josh F. could dance and push Josh A. off the “stage”
Let us not forget how the people in the building thught she was a little nutty…her cabbage stuffed with lox hanging outside…She must have a little gypsy blood..no one has that much spirit and spunk
Bye for now
“. . . and the salesman was so bitchy to her and wouldn’t give her the time of day..she and her husband bought one the very next day!”
I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t love to see a haughty, condescending salesman get his comeuppance. Please tell me that some other salesman got the commission, though.
@crankyguy: I don’t remember if it was a different salesman or not, but the story was great! Edith and Eric (her husband) go back to the dealer. Eric tells a salesman they want to buy a Rolls Royce and he says they’re almost closing. Eric just says tells the salesman that they better go start the paperwork right away then!
I wonder if JA is really insecure? Why else would he take advice from douchy Heather, when he’s always dressed to the nines. And the way he made poor Mikey dress!
And I can’t believe I’m defending Heather here, but we only know Madison’s side of the “slander” story. I’m not saying it isn’t true, but part of the reason JA & Heatherwere so upset, could be that madison is making up stories as well. While I admire Madison for the way he’s handled himself, he does exagerate. He told his mother that Heather threw a drin in his face – not true.
All these clients latetely are really douchy & assholes. They really need to get better cluents to agree to be on the show. Only JF seems to have some luck w/clients that aren’t as bad.
@hutchlover: I hope we get to hear Heather’s side of the story too. Not that it would make me respect her more, but it would at least make things even. I’m also curious about what her contract said. If it said she was not allowed to contact Madison’s clients once she no longer worked for him, then Madison is doing the proper thing by getting legal advice.
So JF’s client was so private that she didn’t want brokers’ opens and people wandering through her house, but she was okay with a reality show being filmed there? That makes sense…
Katie it just stops the lookie loos and time wasters.
Uh , yeah, labowner you’re wrong as in Cali real estate you’ve got to be preapproved in a price range to look so….btw, lmao @ Katie’s comment. I could go on a real diatribe about reality t v and how even it’s very low bar has sunk but….I’ll stay on topic! I think j a’s prob is typical of most straight guys. He is uncomfortable in his skin and therefore dealing with Madison is a challenge as well because madison is gay. He’s even antsy around j f andto m o j f is the most tolerable of the 3( keeping the scenario in mind here , reality t v) . They’ve all got something to gain by the show so let’s be honest . I can see, feel, smell those issues with straight guys right away. I’m in the business ( real estate but very much in reality and in NYC at that)…
I know the type of person Heather is. She think ONLY money, thats why she betrade her Madison for Josh in the first place- she smelled money and sucess. Also in yhe episode when Josh walk out of a client, because they disagree on the price …she push and push to make him call the custumer and ask him directly.. do u want your EGO/pride to be in the way for 100.000dollars. I dont care money-my boyfriend´s repetation and pride is more important. She is all Madison said and i think the job and money,tv gets to her head, she think she is more than she is. To me she is a inmature BITCH. Please Heather look in the mirrow, do some reflections
Sandy is Sandra Murphy. As in the murderess Sandra Murphy from the mid 90s who helped kill Ted Binion. Total B&(%H
