This week’s episode opens with Ramona inviting Carole and Aviva to lunch so that Ramona can discuss Heather dissing her by not inviting her to London. Carole has a great suggestion that they hold a “talking intervention” since Heather is a big ole blabbermouth.
Do you guys see that elephant over there?
Meanwhile, LuAnn invites Sonja to a clubby steakhouse sort of place to discuss how overbearing Ramona is to the countess. There seem to be some cracks forming in the friendship between Sonja and Ramona. Heather is nowhere to be seen, so there’s probably a third meal planned somewhere for Heather to have an intense conversation with herself. I can almost picture her lugging along a life-sized cutout of herself.
Wait, stop talking. I think I just ovulated.
Heather does finally surface for drinks with Ramona–light on the pinot, but heavy on the awkward. These two ladies really dislike each other, I mean, REALLY dislike each other. When Heather meets up later with LuAnn at a gallery, Heather extends the invitation to LuAnn to join the girls in London. LuAnn is in and finds it funny that Ramona isn’t included. Holla!
Aviva declines traveling with the ladies due to her phobias. That works out well, though, since there’s only four bedrooms and now everyone will have a private room. It would have been a disaster fighting over which lady was going to get the Aerobed.
All of the ladies do eventually get together to celebrate Sonja’s Social Life Magazine cover. Ramona is desperate for that invitation to London–actually apologizing at a party on last week’s episode–so she starts dropping a few hints to Heather. Heather doesn’t give a shit. When Ramona Grigio realizes the invitation isn’t going to materialize and then finds out that Sonja IS going, Ramona goes from sloppy drunk to angry boozer. Ramona throws everyone–including the house husbands–onto the Ramoller Coaster and off it goes barreling through Crazy Town.
Let me off! AAAAAAAAAAHH!

So outside of Aviva and Carole every one was pretty rude this episode…
Ramona should have just accepted that Heather doesn’t care for her that much. Not everyone is going to like you, and at Ramona’s age she should realize that.
…loppy drunk to angry boozer…that is the perfect description of the 180 Ramona did.
Could someone PLEASE tell Ramona that Heather’s just not that into her?
I’m glad at the way Heather is shutting Ramona out, Ramona would make the London trip miserable for everyone.
Heather is handling Ramona in a non-housewife normal way, smile and keep it moving.
I crack up at the way Carole’s eyes light up when she talks about Ramona.
I hope she really knows crazy because crazy is coming at her two fisting the pinot.
Holy hell! My hubby was wondering why I was shouting “Shut up, you crazy friggin’ bitch!” for an hour. Ramona is so pathetic and I am loving the Heather! I love that she just shuts Pinot Ass down. And, as usual, Ramona cannot get it through that boozy skull of hers that she is not the Queen of the NY, not on top of the pecking order and that Heather is not feeling her. Stay strong, Heather!!
I love Carole. She’s funny and her overbite is totally endearing. She won’t bring the crazy to this season, but she plays the role of the observer sitting at home watching this freak show on TV.
Ditto on the Carole love. She finds humor in the most awkward of situations, and I just love her for it. She just seems like such fun! So laid back.
Did anyone buy that Luann would have really loved Sonja calling her “Lu?” Yeah, right.
Hey Ramona, guess what? LOTS of people don’t invite you to things! Get over it! Your a big obnoxious, rude, DRUNK loud mouth! Hey, good idea BUYING friendships with the new girls through gifts (bet they were all lotions from her skin crap line). But she’s SO SECURE!! She has diarreaha of the mouth. Can’t shut up about Heather. So obsessive! So….JILL-like! LOL. It’s quite pathetic. And how rude to make a scene and YELL at Sonja at HER party! Poor Sonja!
Loved Heather and Aviva on WWHL. They were charming, funny, and I loved their responses to some of Miss Mandy’s questions and I LOVED both their outfits.
I just love, love, LOVE the new girls (and Sonja)!
Why does Sonja still have her ex-husband’s monogrammed towels hanging in the bathroom?? She cracks me up with her assistants bringing her breakfast in bed, but that maybe why the assistant tried to kill her with the dog’s medicine!! Good Catch Sonja, lol!
@LAC I was yelling the same! Wtf on Ramona?! Geez… and how she thought Heather didn’t pick up on her “hint” of a story of how she always is inclusive? Duh! Poor Mario, he didn’t want to leave that party, but Pinot made an ass of herself and left them no choice.
Great minicap, BSL!
Do the contracts for these Insults to Humanity include clauses that say they a) have to take all their calls on speaker and b) are forbidden to tell the caller who else is in the room? All the fake drama could’ve been avoided if Horse Teeth #2 had just said , “Oh hi, Heather, I’ve got you on speaker and Ramona’s here with me. What’s up?” That’s basic manners.
If “reality” “unscripted” had anything to do with it, HT2 would’ve done just that. Or, she could’ve interrupted and said she’d call her back. Or, she could’ve called Heather later and said, “Oops, just so ya know, Ramona was there when you called.” And Heather? If she’s really so far above it all, as SOON as she realized Ramona knew and was pissed, she would’ve politely said, “I know you know I haven’t invited you. I apologize if you’re hurt, but I don’t consider us friends and, as it’s my trip, reserve the right to invite whomever I want. If you’d like for us to have a civil relationship in the future, it’d be good if you cut out the baiting and complaining about it behind my back. Otherwise, feel free to bugger off.”
But no. These gals can’t navigate their way through basic communication and the need for advertising revenue means Bravo has to invent more situations for the audience to be shocked–SHOCKED, I tell you!–to discover further evidence Ramona is a passive-aggressive drunken opthamologically challenged moron.
RHHater, remember Ramona whispered to Aviva to say she wasn’t there.
I believe every one just assumed at some point she would invite Ramona and that’s why no one really said anything. Even last night Aviva was still campaigning for her.
While I understand heather NOT inviting Ramona I do think it would have been a bit more polite to have mentioned that she wasn’t going to invite her rather than Ramona hear that everyone is going but her.
But who watches these shows for people to be polite…
@classy,
So Ramona tells Aviva to lie (say she’s not there) or, minimally, lie by omission (pretend she isn’t) and that’s OK? Guess the gun to Aviva’s head wasn’t caught on camera. My point was that either they’re required to play that game with phones, in which case the show is even more stupidly fake than we already knew, or Aviva made a poor choice and bears some of the responsibility for the ensuing shit-storm. I agree with everyone that Ramona’s the biggest ass in all of this, but Heather and Aviva shouldn’t be seen as blameless.
Big mouth Mario almost ruined Aviva’s surprise (Reid’s new wedding ring) Who does that?? Ramona almost had to drag Mario out of the party kicking and screaming, lol!!
Mario and Ramona are perfectly suited for each other. I’ve always thought Ramona’s behavior has been a result of her alcohol problem, but Mario is without the alcohol excuse. He is just a nasty gossip of a woman.
BSL, looks like Ramona is going to give you ample opportunities this season for your great still captions.
Does Ramona even know she talks over people way more than Heather? Heather seems to be the perfect person to control Ramona. She’s probably a better buisiness person too.
Loving Sonja more now that she’s getting out of Ramona’s clutches. Love how her and The Cuntess get along. I think Sonja has a better time with The Cuntess than she does with Ramona Pinot Grigio.
Heather is a dick. It’s not just that she didn’t invite Ramona It’s that she made a point of excluding Ramona and only Ramona. It’s like when Sideshow Bob was after Bart Simpson, and he drove around the neighborhood with a loudspeaker saying, “Here’s a list of the people I’m NOT going to kill” and then proceeded to list everyone but Bart. Heather’s omission was a deliberate, well-aimed F.U. to Ramona. And she next deliberately insults Ramona by ignoring Ramona’s invitation to her stupid awards thing, refusing to to RSVP even when Ramona is sitting right there waiting for an answer. She’ll have her assistant look into it? Incredibly rude and a bitch-move. All because, at a casual party in her own home, Ramona agreed with her husband that Heather has a habit of interrupting people. Ramona did admit to Heather that she does the same thing herself, presumably to make sure Heather didn’t think it was a serious insult or anything. It was rude of Ramona and Mario, of course, and I probably couldn’t take being around Ramona for more than a few seconds, but on the other hand, Heather DOES interrupt everyone. Even diplomatic Carole has noticed this. Plus somebody needs to stop Heather from continually saying “HOLLA” Blechhhh!
That said, though, I do give Heather props for playing the game well. She’s really good, especially for a newbie. Bish is gonna get lots of camera time this season, and I’m sure that’s her main goal, so good for her.
@RHhater To enjoy this or any Real Housewives show you’ve got to either have super suspendible disbelief. Or not care. It’s not like Flying Wild Alaska. Where the only thing staged is if Ferno waits till a day they’re filming to say she’s been wanting some stink flipper. So they can show them digging it up.
Or TOWIE where they put up that thing saying “the people are real but some situations have been set up purely for your entertainment” Because of course every girl in the cast didn’t decide to go get a vajazzle on the exact same day. (Actually in the UK some people would take it the wrong way if they thought anybody was suggesting they would believe that. But that’s a different tangent.)
This show started out on the staged end of things. With the 1st episode of RHOC season 1. And gotten even more so over time. To where now Real Housewives staginess style’s turned into part of a whole Real Housewives umbrella. Like Sonya’s hoping to do. With her tiered crumb tray of toaster oven event planning brands. You can even see other shows imitating it. Like Real Housewives style drama, Real Housewives style trash wear and Real Housewives style duck lips.
It was almost embarrassing watching Ramona carrying on like that. Unfortunately people do get left out of activities when groups are concerned sometimes. Maybe it’s on purpose, maybe it’s not. But, it’s a fact of life that adults should be able to deal with. Feel hurt then GET OVER IT! But, yeah, Heather is a bit of a bitch. Heather Badger don’t give a shit!
I kept writing Heather Badger when I would get to her not giving a shit, but then would delete it. I’m keeping Heather Badger in from now on.
So, does anyone else think she’s ultimately going to be invited to London?
You may use Heather Badger. I won’t charge you much.
I’m not sure if she’ll go. It would be a really uncomfortable trip the whole time with everyone knowing she really wasn’t wanted there. Besides who would Aviva hang with while the others were away?
