Minicap RHONYC

The theme running through this week’s episode is Aviva trying to get Ramona invited to London.  Cut it out, Aviva!  We need the drama.

The countess visits an acupuncturist in her search to conceive a baby.  Acupuncture, yes.  Bedroom, NO!

Oh, how romantic.  Can I smoke when we’re done?

Meanwhile, we learn more about Heather’s brave young son and the many challenges he faces at such a young age.

Busybody Aviva has moved to taking the “Invite Ramona” agenda to Sonja.  Aviva didn’t make any headway with her campaign, but Sonja did get her first catering contract.  Not as good news as a crumb tray, but still pretty damn good!

For the love of crumb trays, No Tongue!  No Tongue!

We meet Sonja’s interns and Carole’s date.  Then, Ramona receives an award for something which you will be surprised isn’t the award for most pinot grigio consumed by a living human being.

This week’s episode ends with shopping.  Carole receives some good news fit for a princess, while Ramona Grigio gets served some drama–gangsta chic style.

Ramona, there isn’t anything here with pinot pockets.  What are you talking about, you crazy bitch?

Whooooo boy– where to begin?????? Just quick thoughts b/c I want to watch this epi again

I am loving Heather a little more and more—I gave her a total pass on the “Holla” in her opening statement–I deem it a rookie mistake and know if she joins the gals for the next season, she will have a new opener.

And excuse me but Lulu and Jacques have been trying to concieve for a year??? Was she lying to the acu lady??? B/c if that is true and she is still getting regular periods (as she claims) them she s/be pregnant by now–either something’s up with Jacques or she is Countess Liar Liar Pants on Fire.

And Ramona—oh dear–”Supposingly” isnt a real word–I will check it but….am saying No. And yet I did love your look of evil glee when you found out that Carole is a Princess and as such outranks Lulu. Further you snarky minx you said of the Princess title “And that is a title you are born with, not one you can buy”. Sigh…….

“Pinot Pockets”, a great catch phrase for Ramona, BSL. Good catch on supposingly, Hot Cawfee. I din’t hear it, but never listen that closely when Romona is yapping. I think it is in the dictionary of words that don’t exist.

This is my first season watching NYC and already couldn’t be paid enough to be around Ramona. She gets way to close t o peoples faces and Id have to put my hand up to block it. She is like a hyper 7 year old kid sometimes. Heather at first I was iffy on but she is standing her ground and not inviting her. The shopping scene I think proved Heathers point. Carole is one of my favorite “Housewives” at the moment out of all the ones I watch. I really think they need to do the Redub videos for this show!

Ramona is nuts! Plain and simple: NUTS!

Who would want to spend even 6 hours on a transatlantic fight with this lunatic never mind spending time with her in London?

I have a hard time figuring out what she is saying when her sole focus is on herself. “Me, me, I, I” about sums up Ramona Singer and has been since Season 1. Jill Zarin did her a favor by being so outwardly mean but the “real Ramona” has been there all along. And Kelly Bensimone’s stupidity managed to hide the fact that Ramona is not too swift herself.

She and Mario must have an ironclad pre nup for him to stay with this nitwith for so many years. She must be truly exhausting to live with.

Aviva, just go home already with your tired campaign to get Pinot Pockets to London! It’s not gonna happen! The bitch is cra cra and no one that has a choice wants to vaca with her. Geez Even Cool Carole couldn’t reason with Pinot Pockets. That’s bad!
Lol @ hot cawfee, when did “supposingly” happen? I missed it too. I didn’t catch the entire ep though; so I’m going to watch again myself.

Did I miss something here? What during THIS episode made Ramona seem like the nut & Heather ok? Is Ramona crazy? Um Duh! But this time it was NOT unjust. Heather is such a bitch towards her with her low key bullshit & Ramona picks up on that shit so she becomes defensive. Heather’s ugly ass came on the show with an agenda & regardless of what Ramona would’ve done she would’ve found a way to go after her. Per instructions from her ‘mentor’ Jill Zarin. That bitch is so transparent.

Clothes shopping for a lady is a BIG freaking deal & people know what they like and don’t always take too kindly to others trying to push stuff on them. I don’t think there was anything wrong with Ramona picking up on the obvious DIG about needing a ‘make-over’ & being annoyed! Plus? That shit did look like crap on her. Heather is a shit stirrer & you can definitely see her true colors shinning through, YO! If she’s so ‘real’ why can’t she tell Ramona “I don’t like you, Yo” to her face? Ugh!

@fancyface: I was tired when I watched this, but I seem to recall an aside where Heather addressed that point and said something to the effect that ‘classy people just don’t do that’ (meaning, telling people to their faces that they aren’t liked).

@Romoshedint: After Ramona asked Carole for her opinion at the pre-lunch before the shopping trip, Ramona actually let Carole voice her opinion on how she should handle Heather. When Ramona disagreed (after serving crazy eyes), she actually listened to Carole’s instruction not to have a confrontation at the store. She only sat with Heather after Heather asked her to talk. You can tell Ramona respects Carole’s position and accomplishments, but just expresses it in a fucked up way.

I think Ramona listens to others opinions on confrontation because she understands it’s her weak point.

I still think that Heather is rude for excluding Ramona. I understand that she doesn’t really care for her, but that is a very mean girl act.

Also Ramona has her own style. I’ve never really seen anything wrong with it, so I would have been on the defense if someone said I needed a make over also. She’s in her late 40′s maybe hip and downtown aren’t her things.

@fancyface I agree that Heather has an agenda. She’s a bitch on a mission, that one! Wtf is up with her chunky highlights? Sorry, but that bothers me almost as must as her holla shit. Ramona dresses better than Heather does. I would have told her to F off and bounced and she tried to hit me with a holla back makeover.

I read their Bravo blogs. This is what Ramona wrote regarding Heather asking Aviva to join their conversation in the store to get the who said what cards to whom on the table.

Ramona wrote “I was about to pee in my pants when she said, “OK let’s have Aviva come over here.” Are you kidding me? Who does that?”

So one day she is bashing Heather for not talking to her about not inviting her to London (who does “that” I ask). Bitching that why can’t Heather just be open and honest with her? Then when Heather does not particpate in talking behind Aviva’s back in front of her at the store, wanting to be open and honest with all involved, Ramona writes the above remark.

That is why I wrote she is freaking crazy.

Ramona and Heather do not click. I do not think Heather is being mean, she wants to go on vacation with women she likes, there is nothing wrong with that. I also liked when Ramona started to get all crazy eyes on Heather during their conversation and Heather respectfully and quietly stated that this is their issue, they don’t agree because she stated she believes that she is making sense. A “mean girl” would exclude Ramona from everything, Heather said that she is trying with Ramona. I like Heather.

I have a group of friends. We do not all invite everyone to everything for whatever reason. It has never been an issue for two reasons. One, because we are all emotionally mature adults with no self esteem issues and two, we are not being paid by Bravo to make it an issue. Really, what would they all be talking about if Ramona HAD been invited, no drama there.

Btw, Carole’s blogs on Bravo are always a good read :)

I love Sonja but it seems like it would be more work to direct and coordinate three interns, and keep track of their individual tasks, than it would be to just open your own mail and check your own e-mails. Maybe even one would be acceptable, more of an assistant, but three??? Sonja is a bit delusional in a ‘but I accept it and still love you’ kind of way

The way Sonja comes in to meet the girls in a restaurant, you can tell by her actions that she totally expects the “invitee” to pay for her meals. The way she blew off Ramona’s lunch to meet Lu (she loves when you call her that) at the steakhouse was telling. Also, when she was going on and on to the interns about how she drinks tap water (I suspect that is when she is paying) instead of buying water out and she has to take these pills to ward off the evil tap water. She is a nut. I died when she holds up the bag of “vitimans” and says that she realized if she didn’t take these two in the afternoon, she could have sex. Whattttt????? What the hell is in that bag ? Regarding Sonja, I’ve just assumed she was the comic relief, considering the discussion of her “poo pills.” I honestly at first thought the interns scene was the “we’re back, no we’re not” fake out of the evening, but it was not to be. I don’t know why she had three “interns” doing nothing. It was laughable when that one girl apologized for being late and Sonja didn’t even care and assumed she got laid the night before and her boyfriend kept her from getting to “work” on time. What exact type of college credit do you get for being a delusional reality tv star’s personal assistant and what college approved this? No wonder the United States educational system is in the shitter.

Yep, it’s The Voice episode of Seinfeld where Lu (she loves it when I call her that) is Jerry and Sonja is Kramer

Sonja – You remember my corporation, Kramerica Industries?
    Lu – “Alright.”
Sonja – Well, apparently NYU is very enthusiastic about their students getting some real world corporate experience.
Lu – But you only provide fantasy world corporate experience.

College Dean – I’ve been reviewing Millsap’s internship journal. Doing laundry, mending chicken wire, high tea with a Mr. Newman?
Sonja – Well, it all sounds pretty glamourous, but it’s business as usual at Kramerica.

Sonja – I come up with these things, I know they’re gold but nothing happens. You know why?
Lu – No resources, no skill, no talent, no ability, no brains, no…
Sonja – No, no time! It’s all these menial tasks. Laundry, grocery shopping, coming in here and talking to you. You have any idea how much time I waste in this apartment?

lmao!!! Kramerica Industries….you nailed it! Aye aye aye Sonja. I like you but sometimes you make it so hard. I like when she said “I have to run a 5 story house”….girl, that’s called LIFE. Damn.

I have never seen Ramoner as defensive with anyone as I’ve seen her with Heather…..not even Lu (Anne). Something about Heather sets Ramoner right off the deep end. I do agree, that god-awful fur stole looked horrible on Ramona, and I actually like what she wears (MUCH improved from that bra-lingerie blouse thing she tried wearing in Season 1) and I dont think she needs a makeover
That said though, Ramoner has lost her friggin’ mind. It’s like she’s playing a game in her mind of who can be the Queen of RHONY, since her and the Countess are the last ones standing. Sad.

Speaking of Lu(anne) she is NOT tryin’ to have another baby?! Geez….guess she’s dusting off the long lost chapter from her book Class With the Countess: “Chapter 20: It’s OK To Get Knocked Up By Your Younger French Boyfriend For No Reason At All, Really (as long as it’s planned)”

@Faye – You are so spot on with Kramerica Industries! I love it!

I can’t tell which chick on here is the most delusional. LuAnn for believing that WE believe she’s still ovulating, Sonja for believing she needs help (mental yes, physical no), Heather for thinking she’s cool and chic, or Ramona for obvious reasons.

I’ve always loved Ramona, but I think Heather is just really the type of person she hates the most and it’s sent her off the deep end. I always kind of accepted her like “Oh, Ramona! You are so crazy, but I love you”. I think Carole sees her for what she is. I don’t think she intends on being mean or bitchy (except when she does intend on being mean or bitchy…does that make sense?), but she’s just so intense and doesn’t consider her words before she speaks. I just think that she’s easy to read, which makes life a lot easier. Not like I could handle being around her. I don’t like intense people – especially the kind that get right up in your face. I’m a huge believer in personal space and I will defend it to the death.

Heather’s a bitch. She really is. I think she’s pissed off about the fact that she was born looking like David Lee Roth. I think she watched this show and hated Ramona and vowed to get on this show and be a bitch to Ramona. She gets a kick out of being rude to her. Why else would she immediately have a problem with her? And it’s not like they don’t know Ramona has a mouth on her. You can’t take anything she says personally. She’s a maniac.

Aviva and Carole are the only two sane people so far. I hope it stays that way.

@Derek9…Yeah she said that it’s not ‘classy’ but half of the shit she does isn’t ‘classy’ either HOLLA YO! And since she’s so ‘real’ she should be Real Classy & tell her how she feels instead of getting camera muscles in her interviews.

@Closet Fan12…Actually a mean girl would DEFINITELY invite someone they didn’t care for shopping..and then tell them they need a makeover in front of everyone as if she’s trying to ‘help’ & then try to take her not liking the clothes as an excuse to say she proved her point….so there’s that.

I still think Heather is a bitch and she knows EXACTLY what she’s doing when it comes to Ramona. She came in swinging & would’ve went after her for any little thing she could complain about and make it seem like she had a legit reason to hate her.

And her NEW reason for not inviting Ramona is because she may say something out of line to a business associate…really? Crazy or not Ramona is a HIGHLY successful business woman and she was one even before the show came along. You don’t get there by not knowing how to act in a business setting. She should NEVER be allowed to interview another living soul, but I’m sure she could kick Heather’s ass in business.

Ramona has such a visceral reaction to Heather because she sees right through her & can feel that bitch’s hate for her. Like I said..Jill taught her well & it shows.

During the ‘we’re back, no we’re not’ segment when Ramona got her award, I found her talking loudly through the next recipient’s speech to be completely obnoxious as well. She’s so easily unnerved. What was that ‘she hates men’ comment all about?

She’s so unpredictable in a terrible way, I wouldn’t want her around business associates, family or friends either. You never know what she will say or how she will behave. People keep saying Ramona is a business woman and therefore knows how to conduct herself but that didn’t stop her from publicly insulting Kodak at that event when Jill was associated with them. If she does know how to conduct herself then maybe she just intentionally sabotages people and then insists she’s just ‘speaking her mind’. She thinks everything she says is above board because she ‘says it to your face’ when really its just a lack of tact and an abrasive personality.

like when she publicly chided Sonja for calling her ex husband her husband? how embarassing for Sonja and inappropriate in a group setting. She could have easily said that to Sonja when they were alone. No way in hell I’d want to be on an intimate trip with that woman over any extended period

Ramona hates Heather because Heather is a more successful, not crazy, and not always drunk version of herself. It’s like Teresa hating Melissa over in Jersey for the same reason. Heather does talk to much but she’s not trying to bulldoze everyone she talks to like Ramona. Ramona has self esteem issues. It plays out as she gleefully wanted to mock The Cuntess because Carole trumps her as a Princess. Do you think The Cuntess really cares? Probably not.

Heather not taking Ramona to London is not being a Mean Girl. It’s her business trip and she has the right to invite whoever she wants. Why would she want to invite Ramona who could intentionally screw up her business because she a crazy wined fueled bitch?

I think Sonja must have contracted her interns from Slacker University. They don’t seem to bright and not on the ball. Either that or she just waited at the bus station for new arrivals to New York who have no clue about anything.

I think Carole is just doing this to write about down the road. I can’t imagine she is in this for more than one season. She’s just too above the rest of every Housewife out there.

@Iona #31 I think Romona is plenty successful. Heather is entreprenureal like her and, as someone pegged it the other day, also an alpha dog. They’re both trying to be top dog. It don’t work that way. AND, Ramona has no verbal filter so she just blurts everything out and that rubs people the wrong way. Now, I DO think the princess thing would probably bother the cuntess a little. It’s a higher rank and Carole’s husband died and she’d probably still be married to him. He didn’t divorce her and break up via Post-it, uh, email like the cuntesses husband did.

I agree, even thought I’m SO SURE Bravo is footing the bill for London (wish they were paying for my fricking trip there!) it is Heather’s trip. So, she can invite whoever she wants. So, get over it Ramona. And, Aviva should stop stirring the pot.

You may be right about Carole only being on there for one season. She seems kind of amused by everything and a little too normal. Time will tell.

Ummm…in what world is Heather more successful than Ramona? Ramona has several different successful ventures & is worth almost twice as much as Heather. So…yeah

Is Ramona a ball of Pinot filled crazy? Absolutely! But trying to say she’s not a good business woman is a stretch. You don’t have the accolades that she has by NOT knowing how to conduct yourself in business. Besides, by the look of the previews, it looks like her ‘business trip’ is a convention of Yummie sellers that are forced to sit around and tell Heather how wonderful she is, so there’s that. And one of her ‘business’ associates that she’s afraid Ramana would say something out of line too is REALLY professional saying he trumps the Princess on the show because he’s a Queen! Yeah…Ramona would be too inappropriate for that crowd! Please!

Heather is a fake, ugly beeyotch who thought that it would be ‘cool’ to come in and ‘take’ Ramona down & it so transparent! Can’t wait until they all see her for what she is and turns on her fake ass! That’s why Ramona acts that way towards her. She has her number & knows exactly what Heather is trying to do.

HOWEVER….Ramona needs to CALM THE HELL DOWN! She probably never will because whatever she’s doing is working for her, but she seriously needs to take it down a notch. Stop with the invasion of personal space when you’re talking to people (I couldn’t be her friend for that reason alone! I HATE people all up in my area!), sit still for a moment, & chill the hell out!

And looks like LuMann’s not so sly digs @ Carole start on the ‘exclusive business trip’ & I can’t wait for CC to coolly put that hag in her place with a smile on her face. Oh and another thing? F you LuMann for thinking we believe you can still get preggers. And what happened to all of her edicate all of a sudden? Darhling it’s not proper to try to get pregnant by your younger boyfriend who hasn’t put a ring on it or let yourself be filmed in only your underwear and a sheet. What happened to the ‘I would never let them film something like that’ indignation?

I don’t know who the better business woman is – Heather or Ramona. I think that they are both successful at what they do, and come at it from two different directions. Point in fact – when Sonja was asking for advise. Ramona was giving her the nuts and bolts. What licenses, tax id, etc., to apply for. Even something as simple as dating her notebook. Heather was all about the branding. Both necessary, although with your license, etc., your brand ain’t gonna go real far.

As far as the whole “It’s a business trip and I’m afraid that she’ll screw it up…..” When she was first telling Sonja about it – her husband suggested that she extend her trip by a couple of days and have some fun. How many of the women do you think she’ll be inviting to her business meetings? We’ll have to wait and see, but it will be interesting to see how much of an opportunity Ramona would have had to screw it up for her. Frankly, I’d be more worried about Sonja humping the leg of any good looking man around, or forgetting to put on her underwear. Does Heather have the right to not invite Ramona? Sure. But then own it bitch. Don’t try to come up with excuses.

I will admit, when I found out Carole was going to be on the show, before any broadcasts were aired – I was pretty tickled to find out we were going to have a bonafide Princess on the show. I’ll never forget when Lulu (I think she’d like being called that too) chided Bethanny for introducing her to the driver as her friend LuAnne, when the whole world should know that she should have been introduced as the “the Countess”.

And on my earlier post – without the license, the brand goes nowhere.

@Mimo..My point exactly! This ‘business’ trip crap is just an excuse Heather pulled out of her ass to somehow validate her bitchiness of not inviting Ramona because she told her to stfu & listen to Mario tell a story, which I actually wanted to hear btw. Seriously..have you seen the preview of that trip? Heather is at a dinner making everyone stand up & say their name and then tell everyone why they love Yummie a.k.a Heather.
