After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

    You have been a phab (and talk about intrepid) recapper, SuperiorB, but it’s over. Couldn’t take more than the first half hour.

    If you do choose to (AAAAACK) watch and recap I’ll be first in line to read. I loved your JS ‘caps so much.

    Won’t watch any more. Nope. No. Nada. Nyet, Non. uh-uhn.

    @SSC — don’t bail on me now! They’re only half-hour episodes, you can soldier through! Besides, this episode was just a clip show (because people who have never watched a single episode of Jersey Shore are going to watch this…?) so you can’t judge the entire season based on the first episode. Gird your loins, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, get one of those eyeball-opener contraptions from A Clockwork Orange, and suffer with me!

    They keep talking about living in “the city”. To anyone, that would mean New York City. Too bad they mean crappy Jersey City. I can’t with this show.

    @sardini — They couldn’t have filmed this show in NYC, though, because the title “The Muppets Take Manhattan” is already copyrighted.

    In other news, your recapper is a moron who watched the wrong episode on MTV’s website early yesterday morning before sufficient amounts of caffeine had been consumed, and thought it was the pilot when really it was just a warm-up, getting-to-know-you episode. But never fear, I will recap the proper episode in full, and I will do it with a level of panache not seen since… I don’t know, think of something awesome & multiply it by 20.
