Mob Wives Chicago Recap: Damage Control

I am so happy to announce that this week, Leah’s hair looks the best it’s ever looked on the “live” footage.  I’m a huge fan of curly hair and love to see someone embrace their natural curls and allow their curls to realize their full potential.

We rehash the fight from last week and I noticed something new.  Did anyone notice that Renee skedaddled over there after the molestation comment?  Just doesn’t seem so intimidating.  You’re going to be a brawler, try wearing more sensible shoes.

Nora continues to scream that Renee’s dad raped her and Pia is a mouth hooker.  Leah goes to Nora to explain to her that while she was being attacked by the women, she had no right to say the things she said.  She tries to tell Nora that she shouldn’t go there with people she has loved at one time or another.  They should be able to work out their problems since they’ve always been so close.

Nora bails, of course, as she screams that she’s not going to stay to get beat up by two hookers.  C-Wow chews Pia’s ass for going at Nora while Renee was already laying the smack down on her.  Pia was fighting for her integrity and Leah can’t get C-Wow to listen to reason.  Is it just me, or did everything get blown way out of proportion?  What was the fight about to start with?  Renee being late to Nora’s dead dad dinner?  And now we’re at Renee being raped by her own father.  Yep, that all seems so logical.

Pia wants to tell her daughter that there might be some word through the grapevine that she is a fellatial professional, but that it’s not true.  She eases her way into this conversation by throwing her own father under the proverbial bus.

Your grandfather was a drug-dealing cop! …and you may hear that I blow random men for money.

Bella, her daughter, reacts to the news that her grandfather was a drug dealing cop and then sold out his mafia connections very wisely – she’s disgusted by the fact he was a crooked cop and dealt drugs.  Instead of crying over the fact that he was a rat, instead she takes the normal person opinion that his corruption was worse.  Good girl!  Bella is the new Brianna.

Bella knew there had to be some kind of connection to a criminal lifestyle, but she didn’t know exactly what.  Pia broaches the subject of her fallacial artistry without actually saying it.  She, instead, tells her that Nora said some horrible things at the party, so she had to punch her in the face.  She starts to cry, which makes Bella cry for her mom.  Bella says she’s proud of her mother for doing whatever she had to do to put food on the table and no one can change her mind about that.  The look in Bella’s eyes just gets me.  This is one sweet girl.  I really like her.  A lot.

About

Hi, there!  About me...well, let's see.  I like to think of myself as an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in a mystery.  Sometimes my personality doesn't even reconcile in my own head.  I'm a really caring and sensitive person, but I have a dark, dry, sarcastic sense of humor which tends gives the impression that I have no soul.  I am married to a great guy who shares my sense of humor and we have a son who, both fortunately and unfortunately, has his mother's personality.   I'm an independent contractor who works from home and keeps the kid all day, everyday.  I've loved to write my whole life and have big, never-to-be-achieved dreams of one day writing a book.  My favorite past time is laughing, which is what brought me to this site.  I can laugh at almost anything, so beware.

BWHAHAHAHA- C-Woww is as big of a nut as Nora is. Sticks and Stones, my ass! She’s is convently forgeting the first freaking episode when she was egging Pia on to confront Nora about what Nora had said about Pia to Pia’s cousin. Remind me, who got into a fist fight in public, oh yeah C-WOWW and Pia that’s who!! Who started it? C-WOWW , that’s who. These bitches are nuts!! I’m starting to believe Leah is the only one who has a lick of sense.

Nutjob Nora’s HIGH end Wine (the blood of her father) , she’s going to sell it for $15.99 to $17.99 a bottle, yeah that’s high end!!

I love this series, I love the “ladies.” I love Leah too, she should have her own show, BUT what do you think about this bonus clip from last week’s episode: http://www.vh1.com/video/misc/814613/bathroom-balloon-head.jhtml#id=1689549
Why can’t Leah drop ITALIAN FEST??? Why was she bringing up an old issue when they were in the midst of a much worse problem at that moment? Also, in that episode, she just stood there paralyzed when Renee was taunting Nora and starting the big fight, I thought Leah wanted to do away with the violence in her presence…to be fair, maybe the producers didn’t allow her to intervene in that. It brought my love and respect for the gorgeous Leah down one notch, I’m sorry to say. She is still my favorite on the series. Do you ever think that Leah will get in a physical fight with anyone during this series?

Nora is just batshit friggin crazy.
When she said that about her father millions of people spit out their drinks simultaneously and muttered a colletive “ew”.
She’s the kid in school that would say the basest, meanest shit to others and run to the teachers when shit hit the fan.
She should be boxed out of society.

C-Wow is missing …lawd I have no idea. She just grunts out dumbassery. If she is supposed to be the “Renee” of this series she is falling woefully short. Soemone needs to get her husband in the picture (I am on my KNEES begging he is a Junyah!)

Pia..what is she going to do now that she’s coming off the pole?
    Please don’t tell me she’s a singer.

Leah…I want to see her date a chubby.
Come on Leah put your money where your mouth is.

@Sheesh – Thank you for using one of the Words of the Day properly in a sentence. A+ for you.

and please, please, please don’t let any of these women turn into wannabe pop stars. I’ve had my fill. Though, I’d take Mel over Cuntess any day.

Oh God…did I just say that? I’ve hit rock fuckin’ bottom.

I see Pia’s point. Her daughter is what…maybe 15 or 16. I am sure 18 year old sneak in there so either this run in has happened or Bella’s girlfriend’s older brother has come in or something like that.

Good for her though. I just went to a “shoe show” this past weekend and there was a lady who was probably in her 50′s. I get you may not have another talent, but at no point did you think to get an associates degree or tech school or anything…just to have something to fall back on in case your looks go to the crapper?!?!?!

I love me some Leah. I can’t understand half of the things she is saying because of her Italian slang, but I love her nonetheless.

Not sure why C-Wow doesn’t see why these ladies jumped on Nora. Nora said some things that just SHOULDN’T be said.

Also Pia can reconcile with Renee because she wasn’t Renee’s friend to begin with and she was pre judged on things NORA said. Nora was supposed to be Pia’s friend so Nora shouldn’t say the things she said to or about Pia.

Sit by Farrah and watch Oprah for eternity. BWHAHAHAHAHAAAA

I want Leah and Carla to meet. What would Leah have to say about nutty Renee? She would love Drita for backing her talk. She would not bother with Karen and Cousin No One.

Leah’s dad maybe “retired” because all of his associates are either dead or in jail. My guess is he would still do a job if needed.
