Giana and her pal are on their way to the pen to visit her dad. I wonder if they realize that her friend will probably have to sit in the car somewhere that isn’t the penitentiary parking lot? I know this is how it works at some places. Nothing too fantastic and dramatic of a reason that I know this – just had a very good friend in the minimum security hooscow.
So, we get to learn what exactly Giana’s father did to get himself cornholed for the rest of his life. He ran a bakery in Florida and had one wealthy customer who was always wearing expensive jewelry. So, he gets a bunch of his friends together to rob her house. Instead of just robbing her, he wound up brutally murdering her. How do you “wind up” brutally murdering a woman?
Giana tells stories about her father trying to contact her, but her mom would keep him away. One time, someone was watching her when her dad snuck around and held and talked to her. Renee saw and told the adult there to call the police. I’m not quite sure why anyone would see Renee wanting him away would be a problem? If Giana really thinks her dad’s a great guy, I’d hate to see what kind of guy ends up marrying her.
C-Wow and Leah are somewhere eating something (surprise!!) when C-Wow tells Leah that her weekend was effed-up. Renee invited C-Wow to go out and Pia showed up without her knowing. They’re having a good time when Pia distracts C-Wow so Renee and her brother can steal her phone. Turns out, Renee was texting Nora using C-Wow’s phone. I guess since Renee’s not paying her cell bill anymore, she doesn’t have her number. What’s funny is that C-Wow just now realized that Pia was distracting her on purpose it wasn’t just Renee taking advantage of an opportunity. Leah thinks this all stinks and is worried about the cancer walk.
On the way to the pen, Giana and her buddy have to stay in a hotel. Her friend gives her the letter from Renee and Giana looks all little weirded out. Immediately she opens it up and reads it aloud. Thank God, it’s a very sweet letter just telling her about how much she loves her and her father loves her. She tells her that her father will always have a place in Renee’s heart, because without him she wouldn’t have Giana. She smells a rat (OW!) – I guess her mom must be one of those manipulators.
At C-Wows, the girls are getting together to make t-shirts. C-Wow prepares Leah that if anyone says anything, she’s not going to let it go. Why wouldn’t you? Why waste a perfect opportunity? There can’t be anything interesting about shirt-bedazzling without a fight. C-Wow’s already pissed when Pia and Renee arrive together.
Leah shares that her mom has started radiation and her hair is falling out. She tells the girls she can’t go see her right now, because her head’s already been shaved. She wishes cancer was like a roughneck down the street, because she would just beat it’s ass with a bat.
Someone get this girl a bat!
