Ang believes in playing hardball. And, that is why I love her but am also confused about her, Gasmii!

Earlier in the episode she made it sound like she was condemning Carla for the whole Joe/Raquel situation. Granted, she was simply restating what had already happened in Joe and Carla’s marriage but, still, it sounded accusatory to me. Now she is telling Carla to show no quarter. It’s all, “get full custody,” “meet the new girlfriend,” “find out who your kids are spending time with when you aren’t there.”

Ok, all of those things sound completely reasonable to me. It’s why I love Big Ang(Yay!) so much! But, why is Ang trying so hard to get Lee and Drita back together?

It doesn’t matter. Back to the memorial service.  CousinSuckUp has already made the arrangements – just like she did for her groom-less wedding!

Everyone but Carla is invited to this memorial service. CousinSuckUp had plenty of time to host a service after her grandfather’s death. But, she was really busy moving her kids away from her husband and moving in with a drug dealer, you guys! It wasn’t her fault that her kids had to cry on television about a guy they had only met a couple of months before he went to jail. And she really needs to do something about that wonky eye! Seriously, Andy Cohen can get away with it because he acknowledges it and owns it. You, CousinSuckUp are not interesting or charming or self aware enough to pull this off, so get that shit taken care of.

Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah. CousinSuckUp pisses me the hell off and I really wish Jennifer G. would stop trying to make her happen.

But somehow, Carla is the bad guy! Somehow all of these women, except Drita and Big Ang(Yay!), see Carla as the ultimate evil and we have no idea why! If you are going to tell the story, then tell the whole fucking story!

Speaking of Carla…Joe and Raquell(?) are trying to gain some relevancy. Their hope is to make sure they have a spot on the show even if Carla doesn’t. So, we are submitted to this scene where Carla lets Joe know she wants full custody, and then everyone pretends that Carla is jealous of Roquel(?).

I’m sorry, but I think that of the two, Carla is the prettier one. Yes, Raquel(?) is the younger of the two, but there is something off about her. I mean I do kind of see a resemblance to Carla; Joe definitely has a type. But, Rockell(?) doesn’t look like she is going to age as gracefully as Carla has. She looks about 5 years away from turkey neck and general pudginess.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    I was so annoyed when Drita was talking about when Lee was going around the house pointing at this and that, what a jerk!!

    When the hell did Lefty die? That was all kinds of riduculousness!

    @featherhead, I have actually seen that picture before. I believe I may have even posted it in a recap last season or the season before – they are all starting to run together in my mind now.

    But, I totally agree that he is a jerk and I hope once the giddiness of him finally being out of jail passes, Drita will really evaluate whether or not to have him come back and live with her and the girls. Because, if it doesn’t work out or he screws up and goes back to prison, think about how heartbroken those girls are going to be.

    And Lefty died when she was like 10 or something. So, in all those years she had yet to attend any type of memorial for him? Total story line fodder and very distasteful on her part.

    Great recap! @Plath, CSU is full of shit. Bitch made it seem like she was estranged from her family when Lefty died and that’s why she couldn’t attend any service for him. She’s as desperate for a storyline as Karen is for a date.

    Another thing, I truly believe that if Carla was talking about everyone at some point it would have been caught on film. It seriously seems like Jenn G has an axe to grind against Carla. No one else’s ex-husband is being filmed with their current girlfriend. Although I’m pretty sure Joe signed on eager and willingly, but why the hell does Raquel get a talking head? Didn’t at some point Junior have a girlfriend? We didn’t see her or need to. It seems like Carla is getting the Season 2 Drita treatment; where everyone is isolating her with the exception of one or two people.
    It just proves that Karen and CSU are douches. Didn’t they both supposedly bury the hatchet with Carla last season?

    @KeKe yes she did. But since those two twits run with Renee, they are on Renee’s side. What Renee says, goes pretty much. Renee doesn’t like Carler so they don’t like Carler…

    I was so grossed out when Karen was hittin on the DJ/Producer guy. Just the way she was sitting there smirking at the camera, yuck!

    I don’t know her from a wharf rat, but I do not like Jennifer G. Wonder how many bricks she shit when Ramona and Drita sat and and figured out neither said shit about each other. I am assuming this Carla / Love crap is the same.

    I would love to know what really happened that Renee is so hell bent on hating Carla. Does any one know if it is true that Carla works as a rep for a juice company? May be she is distancing herself because of her job?

    I forgot what Raquel said, but I did want to punch her.

    I love how Love got pissed for not being invited to bowling or the spa day.

    Plath, do you think they took some time off from filming? Thanks for the recap.

    Love was on ID Discovery AGAIN today! On Deadly Sins. It was about her ex Chris. I swear this is the 3rd time she’s been on one of their shows! Forget MobWives….she’s trying to get a Discovery gig!

    You know, I might have been impressed with the “I met Al Pacino line” if Al Pacino hadn’t starred in “Jack and Jill” endorsing something called “Dunkaccino”. I mean seriously – it’s almost like he’s a bigger fame whore than CSU!

    And Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with the whole memorial service! My grandpa died 8 years before I was born and I feel like I never got closure from that because I was torn between my future father and my future mother (literally – I wasn’t even a fetus yet) and I couldn’t grieve properly. Anyone willing to help me plan the memorial?

    Labowner , while I don’t trust Ramona entirely I gotta co-sign! I happen to like Love’s crazy ass but this hate for Carla is perplexing. It seems influenced since we have yet to see them interact. So all these bitches said they heard Carla talking about them but she’s got SO much going on in her life already! Another reason I love Drita so much is that she defended her in the end of the epi.

    Carla really laid it down as she should have. I gave Raquel the benefit of the doubt earlier but I have to say she’s got some gall to say she didn’t believe anything Carla said to her when Carla’s the mother of her boyfriends children. And Joe is a Grade A piece of shit.

    @TheBedHeadJen, taking one for the team is my stock and trade. It’s why I just can’t quit this show.

    @KeKe, Totally agree. Jennifer G. is trying so hard to make something happen with Karen and CousinSuckUp, that she still hasn’t figured out that there’s no there there. And yes, there would definitely be something by now if Carla were such a major shit talker.

    @labowner, yep. I hope they call her out at the reunion like they kind of did last year. Except, I really hope they hold her to the fire. Because these types of arguments where they can’t even show us what they are arguing about, does not make for good television.

    @JennBug, I LOVE Investigation Discovery. That channel has some of the best shows EVAH! And the horrible reenactments with bad wigs just gets me every time! I saw her on the “I married a Mobster” type show but haven’t caught the Deadly Sins episode.

    @Chicken Lips HAHAHA! A tribute is totally necessary. How else are you going to have the closure you need to move forward with your life? I mean, I don’t know if you have a drug dealing boyfriend that you plan to marry in a lavish ceremony while he is locked away from all of the festivities, but if you do, this memorial service will give you some peace on the big day!

    @JulieSF I do like Love, but I can’t with the Carla hate. This is twice that she has been told by Drita, that she has never heard Carla talk shit about her and still she goes on and on about what she would do to Carla? It makes no sense at all. And, I totally agree about Joe. He is such an ass. Oh and Church Camp is a staple for anyone who grew up in the South. Our biggest outings every year were always either bowling or roller skating. All this one time, they took us to Water World, which is a water park in Dothan, AL. Those were in the days before we had to worry about E. Coli outbreaks. Good times…

    Did anyone else notice that in the bar while Love and Renee were at the table waiting for Drita to arrive that Drita’s half full drink was already on the table? Hmmmm.

    I hope Carla is able to get child support from Joe for all those years he was in prison. Loved Big Ang’s advice to her! Big Ang don’t play!

    Just watched this last night. Now I love me some Big Ang, but what was with her giving Carla a hard time for not taking back her cheating husband? I think Carla’s right. Drita can see how things go with Lee without moving him in with the girls. Smarmy move on his part too…\surprising\ Drita by showing up and cuddling up with the girls. Yeah he’s trying to weasel his way in. I’m hoping that as time goes by Drita realizes she’s better without him. I still say there’s hope for her yet. She’s still torn on what to do, so I have my fingers crossed for her.

    Renee is way too happy that everyone but Carla is getting along. The thing is Big Ang & Drita have no issue with Carla. Karen & CSU only dislike her cause Renee does this season, and Love is hearing ish from everyone else. I dont blame only Jennifer G for it. Renee started it too. Remember the Botox party? Carla didnt come and Renee decided it was because Love was there. I still say part of the reason Renee is so mad at Carla is because Carla finally had enough of Renee’s BS and isn’t kissing Renee’s ass to make amends.

    Carla did the right thing by meeting up w/Raquel. If she’s around her kids, she should meet her. What I didnt get is when Raquel said she didnt buy Carla’s apology. When the hell did Carla apologize?? And what does Raquel think she had to apologize for? Love how Raquel tried to get in good by telling Carla she raised good kids. *eyeroll*

    And Joe? Pffffft…..what a loser. Telling Carla she can pay for their wedding. Then trying to get her to pay for their coffee. Loved that she shot him down on both counts. LOL

    CSU sucks. That is all. Karen too.

    @Julie, yup. That’s why I like Drita too. She stands up for her friend, lets people know she will and that what they say won’t affect that friendship. I think out of them all, Drita & Carla have the most real friendship.

    @featherhead- I noticed that too! So much for continuity, right?

    @Plath, I remember Water World fondly. We went there a lot when we lived in Ozark, but our church camp trip was always to Blue Springs.

    Did anyone else think that the fact that only Drita and Karen at the spa was a set up? I mean come on no call to say Sorry, I am not coming?

    I laughed when they showed CSU giving her eulogy about her grandpa. (But yeah, I had no idea that her grandpa was portrayed in Donnie Brasco, and it was wrong, Wrong I say. Damn you Al!) :)
    and then the camera panned to the sanctuary and there were 4 people sitting in 1 pew! This is what got me last year, and maybe I am just weird, but, CSU said that her grandpa died on Thanksgiving…um She knows that Thanksgiving is not the same date every year right? Like Last year my aunts birthday was actually on thanksgiving, but that shit only happens every 7 yrs or so…

    @Classy, at least the loon from Chicago was crazy enough to think that her father’s body wasn’t actually buried in the cemetery – that she wasn’t allowed access to on film. She was ready to dig him up – and that takes commitment. Do you think that CSU’s Jewelry is in the same Texas vault as Crazy lady from Chicago? Because I wouldn’t put it past Jennifer G. to create a story out of that. It would be a MobWives crossover event!

    I had to fast forward through the Grandpa CSU memorial. I just couldn’t watch and or listen.

    My question, why an Episcopal church?

    Not to defend CSU but her grandfather died in 1994. At that time she was probably on the run with her ex husband as her family did not like him.
