These bitches are making me tired. This was a choppy episode with no real resolution to any arguments, just a rehash of ridiculousness that has already happened. We start off with Big Ang (Yay!). She is preparing for her Christmas party and is hopeful for a good time. Drita comes in and immediately loves the tree. It’s covered with silver and hot pink, and is just so typically Ang, that you can’t help but love it in all of it’s gaudy tackiness. Ang tells Drita that CSU is engaged to her drug dealing boyfriend. Drita is kind of shocked that CSU would willingly commit to someone who is facing a decade or more in prison. She wouldn’t wish that life on her worst enemy, which is funny because we’re talking about CSU.

Karen and CSU arrive and the girls learn that Love and Renee have backed out at the last minute. Karen and her patented BitchFace number 74 are super excited that Renee is still mad at Carla. Even thought Carla was one of the first people to side with Karen and tell Renee that Karen shouldn’t be punished for things her father did, meant nothing at all. Karen was only friends with Carla because of Renee – at least that is what she is claiming. So, she’s happy that she doesn’t have to pretend to like her anymore.

Karen-Ramona

She tells Carla that Renee isn’t there because of Carla and then she and CSU tag team her about her issues with Renee. Ang doesn’t think it is any of their business. Carla holds her own pretty well though. Karen and CSU can’t let the butter knife thing go. And Carla can’t figure out what the big deal was. It’s not like she was in Renee’s face or was waving a machete at the woman or anything. Then, we get this weird edit. Drita says that if Carla had pulled a knife on her she would shove it down her throat. And then, nothing. No follow up response in the conversation, even that sentence seemed cut off like there was more being said, but it’s just kind of dropped. Jennifer G. wants us to believe that Drita is totally siding against Carla in favor of Renee. And then CSU opens her dumbass mouth and says how happy she was that Drita sided with her and Karen.

First of all, you guys weren’t even at the breakfast when this happened, so you don’t have a side for Drita to join. Secondly, just like Big Ang (Yay!) said, it’s none of your fucking business, because you weren’t there. And, third, and this is the most important thing, your issues with Carla were prior to this whole butter knife incident, so stop acting butt hurt over this as though it’s the only reason you have an issue with Carla. Either tell us what your beef is or get the fuck over it.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    Hi PlanAddict! Love your recaps. This episode pissed me off because cousinsuckup and karen were ganging up on carla when they weren’t even there! I was disappointed in drita because I was expecting her to have carla’s back just like carla did last season. I feel like Big Ang is carla’s real friend right now because she called twedle dee and twedle dum on their bullshit!. Also, I’m beginning to dislike Jennifer G. because she is very biased when it comes to this show. You check her twitter feed when she’s retweeting nasty things about carla from her \crew\ ( aka renee, ramona, love, karen). That is so unprofessional. She’s trying to get carla off the show probably.

    I would rather have less episodes than crap like dinner at my place – next week. The editing at that dinner was so crappy I am going to say it never happened. Drita out of the blue goes after Carla like that?

    Me thinks Carla has wised up to Jennifer G’s crap and just really doesn’t care. I get it that Jennifer is Renee’s sister, but Jennifer doesn’t seem to like her sister much either. What would be great is for Renee and Carla to bury the hatchet and go after Jennifer.

    Do Love and Carla never do a talk it out sit-down?

    Fuck this bullshit about Karen and Dave. Carla’s b-day is on the 14th of January. Am I to believe Karen didn’t see Karina for the holidays?

    It seems the only true reality tv is sports.

    Drita cracks me up with her personality and while I loved her in the previous seasons this season not so much.Carla always had her back when it came to the other girls and I found it odd Drita just allows them trash Carla at any opportunity.She was a pretty terrible friend in this episode and is becoming a disappointment.

    I wish they would get rid of Jennifer and her bias editing its becoming pretty obvious and ruining what used to be a decent show.

    Big Ang can not do any wrong in my eyes and love how she gives all girls a fair shot and doesn’t feed into the drama.

    OK – so there’s no way Daddy Dearest is doing time for your drug beef if he wasn’t involved AND there’s no way that the only person to determine that the sentence wasn’t right after all these years is Brother Drug Ring. Either Karen is full of manure (well, more so than usual) or Daddy Dearest’s lawyer is the worst lawyer ever (even worse than Lou, the Ewing’s lawyer in Dallas). That just doesn’t happen.

    Also, everything I learned about the mob I learned from the Sopranos. But do you really think that the Feds are still out to jam Daddy Dearest up? Do Karen and Brother Drug Ring really believe they need to bring their TV cameras to the middle of the desert to avoid bugs and wire taps? The mob probably doesn’t even give much of a crap about him anymore either to the point where they would travel across the country to get him. I’m not even sure they would travel across town. Because let’s face it – if they wanted to get him, they would have already gotten him. He isn’t serving time at a Holiday Inn with a bunch of law abiding teetotalers, if you catch my drift.

    And gee Karen, why do you think Karina has an attitude with you? Is it maybe because you dump her with your mother and go trekking to New York to make an ass out of yourself and then when you decide to visit Arizona you make it all about catching your baby daddy with another woman and at no time mention excitement of seeing your daughter? Or maybe its because you are, well, you.

    Boy – I apparently gots lots of Karen hate! But here’s my impression of Love:

    (imagine any situation happening – cut to Love’s talking head) Love: “Anyone do that to me? I’ll stab/punch/kill them.” Repeat. Ad naseum.

    Other than that, I really got nothing. Great ‘cap!

    Ok, why is Karen’s accent getting progressively more ignant and street with a twinge of gangsta to it with every episode? Girl, please.

    Also, call me crazy but I thought you got fillers if your face needed filling. I’m looking at you KAREN.

    I loved when Big Ang said her pahty was going down the tubes…she slays me still.

    @Kayla regarding Jenn…ditto. The editing is getting ridic. Lots of lather rinse repeat scenarios going on over and over.

    How many sit downs, talks about old timers, living in the lifestyle and threats are these women going to issue already?

    My thoughts during the episode and while reading the recap:

    1. Carla wasn’t in Renee’s face with the butter knife. She was holding it while she was talking. Yeah, she pointed while it was in her hand, but she put it down when Renee bitched about it, so WTF? Where did Karen and CSU hear this nonsense about her waving it in Renee’s face? Newsflash: you weren’t there, bitches. You’re standing there with two women who WERE there, and aren’t even confirming this information with them. Fucking hate them!

    2. Drita’s jokes about the dog and Renee’s loud mouth were so funny. I was cracking up when she imitated Renee ordering food over the phone.

    3. Karen was completely inappropriate with her daughter! Crying and blaming her for adapting to her current situation? She’s a minor, what is she supposed to do when her father is involved with another woman and you are thousands of miles away? Idiot!

    4. I thought the same thing about Karen: hiding her talk with her brother about their father – dumbass, you’re on camera! You really think NOBODY is going to hear this conversation? Bullshit. Added dramatic effect.

    5. I do love Drita and Carla’s relationship. No matter the situation, they seem to remain close, and I admire that. Hopefully that doesn’t change.

    6. I DON’T give a shit that Love is so obsessed with hating Carla. Dumb bitch hasn’t met her face to face or talked to her EVER IN LIFE, really, shut the fuck up, Love. She’s looking for drama with one of the girls, and Carla is the only one she isn’t friends with already.

    7. Lastly: Big Ang rocks. Always will. Love her!

    Thought the Drita comment about the knife and then ….SILENCE…was odd, too. It came out of left field. But my love for Drita [or Drit-er as Renee calls her] is still solid. I blame Jennifer! Although I dont agree that she’s an evil mastermind. She gave these women a way to make money and be more independent, and I dont think any one of them would disagree.

    Now, everyone’s going to be hating on me for this, but I have to say it: Karen is dumb, but I feel for her in this situation. She’s got CSU bleating in her ear and trying to manipulate her into going psychobitch on Dave. My loathing for that screeching harpy knows no bounds.

    I loved it when Karen said, “I’m tired of your voice.”

    She recognizes that CSU’s brand of “friendship” is not what she needs right now. She’s obviously feeling guilt for leaving her daughter for NY, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. At this point, she’s working hard to make some kind of future for her and Karina.

    ugh. I defended Karen. I need a shower.

    @Drit-er I get that a mother needs to work hard to make a life for her and her child, but there are a lot of ways she coud work hard and provide a life for her kid and not move away from her. She could have easily written her book in Arizona where her kid is. Or she could have worked at the salon that her family had in Arizona. Or she could have brought her daughter with her to NY. IMO, the only thing that Karen is working hard at is being a fame-seeking attention whore & everything else is secondary.

    Then she tries to make her daughter feel bad for getting along with her dad’s girlfriend? If it were Karen with a new man, and Karina got along with him, she’d think it was just fine. The only thing Karen’s upset about is that no one is mooning over her the way she wants them too. I might not like when kids give their parents attitude, but can understand why Karina did it. I’m sure she has some issues with being left behind by her mother then having her do exactly what she asked her not to do….make a big deal to her dad about his new girlfriend.

    CSU? That one is another dimwit. Why would Karen even take advice from that trollop when CSU’s bright idea is to marry her drug dealing fiance while he’s in jail and get her kids involved in all that crap?? Karen should have told her to keep her trap shut and rethink her life before she doled out advice on anyone else’s.

    @yeknom, I agree with you about Karen. After she finished her book she could have moved back to Arizona with her daughter but she decides to stay in New York and make a fool of herself on national television. If she’s such a great mother she would moved back after her daughter told her she wasn’t interested in moving to New York instead of wasting money on a studio to bribe her. Karen seems to only care about herself and I think her family realized that and got on with their lives.
    I hate the editing on this show because I would love to know what made Drita say that. It was cut to make it seem like Drita was siding with Dumb and Dumber, but I don’t think that was the case. Everyone knows about Drita and her temper so I wouldn’t expect her answer to be anything other than what she said, but I don’t think she was necessarily going against Carla.
    Drita was too funny with her impression of Renee ordering food. Big Ang was great as always. Loved her tree! I must admit that I burst out laughing when CSU told Karen the only one living in her house was an obese dog.
    Love really needs to get another storyline because this hating a person you’ve never met who may or may not have said something about you storyline is just stupid. Ask Carla about it or shut up! I thought she would bring something to the show but as each episode airs she’s gets more boring by the second. Oh you would have stabbed them? Oh you would have punched them? Oh you would have killed them? Give it a rest!

    Lol PA, I love how you keep using Karen’s mugshot.

    The whole thing with the dog Renee couldn’t afford…don’t tell me the heffa couldn’t start up some drama for a more interesting storyline. But I guess it goes with the whole \My life is in danger because my husband snitched on my dad\

    As for Karen, I kind of felt for her when she started crying because I have a daughter too and I know I’d be a wreck if she started to stray from me but Karen did this to herself. I feel sorry for Karina.

    so glad i found this recap!!! i agree with everyone here, karen ditched her daughter for her 15 minutes of trashy fame. i read her book and in it (amongst the 5th-grade writing style) is the story of how SHE knew nothing of this drug ring and SHE was the one unjustly accused. she is ridiculous. i wish someone would make a youtube supercut of CSU saying “my grandfathah, my grandfathah.” she is so desperately clinging to her connection to the mob it is just sad. and why put 4 kids through having a “stepfather” that is locked up for so long. her and karen are beyond selfish.
    also, love needs to stop with the stabbing. we get it, your tough as nails. how old are these women talking like street trash? don’t they care what their children think? a.j. looks humiliated everytime he is on screen.

    Drita – opening cosmetics store (how big was her ring to pay for a store?)
    Carla – ??? I read juice company rep, but now is selling soaps and stuff online
    Ang – D. Monkey (do we know if her spa is back up and running)
    Renee – ??
    Karen – ??
    Ramona – ??

    Where do they get money to live? They don’t make that much from this show.

    @labowner..when Drita got her ring appraised, I want to say it was for $100 grand, I think. I know Renee used to be a stylist, and that she started some organization for giving gifts to inmates, or at least she talked about it on the show at one time.
    Karen’s an author, remember?? (dripping w/sarcasm)
    Ramona just sucks. I have no idea what she does. Though I read something a while back that her and ex-hubby were con-artists.

    @JulieSF, I might be heartless because I dont feel bad for Karen at all, like you said, she did it to herself. The way she’s told Karina’s father that she did her time raising Karina and it was his time now? How can Karina not be affected by that. Like you, I feel bad for Karina.

    Don’t these women look like they are packing on the pounds? The ladies weren’t ever rail thin (outside of Drita and Carla) but sheesh.

    I don’t like how they acted as if Hurricane Sandy was a one week ordeal and it was over with. This is why people think things are back to normal and the people are just fine up there. NO! There’s still alot of damage that people are dealing with.

    This really chaps my ass.
