Carla got a puppy, he’s also adorable – but I guess that’s the thing about puppies. She named him Elvis – I never pegged her for an Elvis fan, not sure why. She meets up with Drita and Big Ang at the dog park so all three puppies can play together while they discuss the Joe situation. They make jokes about how young Joe’s girlfriend is.  They talk about how all guys who get out of prison are just the same. It’s totally the conversation that most of us have with our girlfriends except for the whole “the guys are criminals” part. When Big Ang asks if Carla is sad about splitting from Joe while he was in prison, her answer is NOPE! If he isn’t patient enough to work on their relationship, he simply isn’t worth her time.

So now Karen and Roland Gift – I mean DAVE, go out on a date. I guess they were so busy having sex they didn’t get the chance to actually discuss their daughter and plans for her future. Just when I think that since they are in a public place, I won’t have to have any visual imagery of the two of them being intimate, he sticks his tongue down her throat. OK, they did actually talk before that happened. Dave admits that he had been dating since Karen left. Karen gets jealous because she wanted to be dating but couldn’t find any takers and had to watch Big Ang have her pick of all of the hot guys in the area. Anyway, she threatens David with death if he has brought any of those women to her bed. Dave admits that the sex between he and Karen was nice, but he isn’t really considering moving to New York. THEN he sticks his tongue down Karen’s throat.

2Is this what Drita meant by eating her face like a leach? I truly hope not. Because that’s just plain wrong.

Renee is doing a radio interview about everything that has happened with Junior. She explains the cycle of Junior going to prison and coming back to her and how each time she would fall for it thinking she had a prince. Now she sees him as the prince of fucking darkness. She goes on a great tirade about how as a criminal, you know you are going to jail so you do your bid. You don’t take anyone down with you and how she would spit on him.

I love it when these women acknowledge that it’s these guys’ own fault that they are in jail.

Speaking of jail, Drita gets a letter from Lee. He says that he is no longer being moved to Brooklyn. He is actually now being moved to a facility even further away than the current one is. She is devastated on behalf of her kids. She feels like she finally had one good thing to tell Aleeya (that her dad would be closer and she could visit him more often) and now she has to take it away from her. I really feel for her on that.

I think that these women get a lot of flack for having married criminals in the first place – I mean I myself have been known to give them the side eye or it’s verbal equivalent on many an occasion. But, I can feel how painful it is for them to have to disappoint their children. The women accept that their men will most likely serve time and many of them are willing to wait it out and make life as normal as possible for the kids. But, disappointments like this? The kind that come out of nowhere? They have to really hurt.

Anyway, that’s it for this episode. Next week is the finale and we see Drita and Karen sit down to talk. Then, it’s the reunion – hosted by Joy Behar. Then, I think Mob Wives Chicago starts up some time in June, which looks pretty interesting so I hope you guys will join me for recaps of that.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    I hope Drita mollywops Karens fat ass at next week’s sit down!
    Big Ang’s son creeps me out, I hope he’s not going to be on her show. 23? – he looks 43 to me.

    Agreed feather head! I for one will be yelling at my tv for Drita to punch the shit out of Karen…or CSU.

    I hate men who sacrifice their children for some poon. You’ve been away almost these children’s entire lives and you want to spend time with a girl. It just doesn’t make sense to me at all. Good for Carla for being strong.

    I’m sorry Carla, but a chickee upsets you, but you were okay marrying and having kids with a criminal. Get real.

    I hope Drita keeps her cool with Karen. This is filmed and actions speak louder than words if she wants to be a better role model to her children.

    The girls got spanked and my brothers both took a tour of the kitchen cabinets more than once. :) Mom gave up on wooden spoon when it broke on my younger brother and he laughed.

    I have to say in Carla’s defense, she may not have known that Joe was a criminal when she married him. They met at work – at a white collar job. So, she may not have knowingly married a criminal the way Renee and Drita did. And by the time she found out it was too late – she was already married and had twins with him.

    As for Drita as much as I would love to see Karen catch a beating, I am hoping that Drita is the bigger person. Mainly because it would really piss Karen off is she couldn’t push Drita’s buttons. She’d get flustered like she did with Carla and her arguments and aggression were just all over the place.

    sigh…I guess you guys are right. Drita should be the mature one and talk it out with Karen. It won’t make me happy but I guess it’s for the best. :(

    It would make me super happy to see Karen get her ass beat. The only thing is, I want Drita to come out the better person. And after that restaurant sit down between Carla and Karen, I think Karen would totally make an ass of herself if Drita stayed calm. She wouldn’t know what to do and would just start jumping from topic to topic in order to try to remain in charge of the argument while simultaneously making herself look like the ass that she is.
    That would be more glorious than even an ass beating. Plus, I want Drita to succeed in the goal she set for herself to stop fighting.

    I found out that my great grandfather Cleaman worked in the Al Capone ?gang? for a bit. He got shot at and the guy he was with was killed so he quit that bitch.
    That’s all I know. I never knew him or my grandfather.
    I found out about it 2 months ago from my Gramdma’s brother’s son at a funeral.
    That’s all.

    Yeah Drita should talk to Karen. “What did the 5 fingers say to the face”

    Ughh Karen. That was just gross ! They spoke about their daughter for like 5 seconds & went straight to getting busy. I think Karen can’t find a man & she’s going to settle for David.
    I loved the scene with the puppies, so cute ! As far as Joe he is a jerk & Carla is smart to not get involved with him again.
