I am worried because I can see her slipping. Don’t do it Drita! I know it’s easy for me to say this based on edited footage, but the way he spoke to you on the phone is enough for me to say conclusively that he would be a toxic presence.

She talks to Big Ang on the phone about the visit. She is practically gushing about how well the visit went. She says that she spent half the visit crying in the bathroom. She says they barely spoke, but there was a peaceful silence between them. She just felt good being with him. It’s tough. I hope she doesn’t take him back. And, she says that she is now all fucked up because she doesn’t want to have feelings for him because of how badly he hurt her with the cheating and incarcerations.

Ang and Love complain about men. Ang is really hoping that Lee and Drita get back together, and it’s just something I can’t get behind. Ang herself doesn’t believe in waiting for people who are in jail. So, why would she encourage Drita to?

Karen is calling Dave. She can’t just act civil. She acts like a jealous ex girlfriend – which she is. I wonder how many takes they did of this, because the audio is spliced to hell and back. She thinks it’s fucked up that he told his daughter, you know that he is living with, that he has a girlfriend before telling Karen who is hundreds of miles away being a famewhore. Maybe he wanted to tell you in person Karen? Maybe he knew you would act like a jealous shrew even though you guys aren’t together anymore? Or, maybe he didn’t want to give up his rent free living situation.

But, here is the thing, Karen is so much more furious about the fact that there is another girl than she is about the fact that her daughter is interacting with this woman, that this woman has been intimate with Dave in her house, or that Dave is in her house living rent free. The fact that she might push her daughter away is completely secondary to the fact that Dave has a girlfriend. And, that should tell you ALL you need to know about what Karen’s priorities are.

Karen is saying that Dave is disloyal and none of it makes any sense. They aren’t together. He has a girlfriend now. She herself was looking for a guy with a nice loaf of bread a couple of seasons ago. I suspect that Karen thought she would be really in demand with the men by now but Dave is the only sex she’s been able to get and now he is with someone else.

Drita goes to visit a friend to discuss her feelings about Lee. I love that Drita has appropriate people to talk to. But, I hate that EVERYONE is encouraging her to take Lee back. She can’t just try it out because her kids will be affected if it doesn’t work out. Her friend says that if he hadn’t gone to jail the two of them would not have any problems. I don’t think that’s true since he cheated when he was out of jail the last time. So, that is delusional talk right there – or at the very least some truly deep denial.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    Is Jennifer trying to get Carla off the show?Why the heck did Joe and especially Raquel get talking heads?Joe not over Carla and it quite obvious to me.I love your recaps and feel your hijacking my brain because we share exactly same opinions.Looking forward to next week!

    I call bull – she was twirling her hair like a little girl in love talking about Lee to Big Ang on the phone. I think she needs to do him again to remember she really doesn’t want to be with him. Reality is a cruel mistress.

    How hard do you think Carla was laughing when she saw Ratty’s talking head about being Puerto rican blah blah blah? I wonder what Ratty’s parents think about their daughter shacking up with a married ex-con?

    According to Carla’s FB page, they got Elvis back in March 2012. Joe claims he and Ratty have been dating since he was released from prison.

    Joes response to being asked if he was offered a full-time spot.

    “Right now I’m on about 5 episodes of the 15 episodes that they shot. They haven’t offered me a full time role yet but they have been talking to me about it for season 3. If it comes to it I’m down to do it but I’m also approached to be on another show so if that show is picked up I’ll do their show because I already signed a contract with them.”

    Sure Love, your boyfriend didn’t cheat on you with two other women, he decided to go the expensive route to freeze his spermatozoa and then artificially impregnate two random girls to carry on his bloodlines. What A Dumbass!

    Happy Birthday PA! I agree with all you wrote about Drita and Lee. I really hope she doesn’t take him back! I think AJ (and question why he flew to Florida with her) gets away with the way he talks to his mother is cause Italian sons are usually treated like kings. Between that, Renee treating him more as a friend then a mother and Renee taking 20 pills a day mixed with wine is how he gets away with all he says. I cannot believe Renee is still talking smack about Carla to her therepy group no less. She’s acting like Carla slept with Junior! It makes no sense!
    I called it – Karen talks all big and bad, meanwhile all she did was call him to bitch that he has a girlfriend, nothing else. I’m gonna bust a cap!!

    Happy birthday!

    I loved the scenes with Drita and her girls! She always makes sure that she does what is best for her girls.

    I’m on the fence about whether Drita and Lee should get back together. If I could trust the editing on the show, then I think she shouldn’t because she doesn’t need to put up with that crap. However, I don’t think I can trust the editing – I’m sure the shitty phone calls happened, but we don’t know what happened with all the other phone calls. And I’m not forgetting about the cheating – but I figured that with Drita’s temperament and attitude she would have written him off right way, so I gotta think there is really something between them that she thinks will help them overcome the cheating so they can be together. We are at a disadvantage because this is the only relationship where we haven’t gotten to see the two of them together, so there is no way of our knowing right now.

    Happy Birthday PA!!!

    I loved that Drita doesn’t talk crap about Lee in front of the girls. When the girls are old enough to decide what to think about their father that’s their decision. Until then Drita should keep doing what she’s doing. Drita…this is what they call the honeymoon phase. The situation sounds good but Lee cheated and will probably cheat again. Don’t fall for it.

    Karen and CSU are soooooooooo WACK! I hate them.

    Does anyone think Carla has the potential to go full-on Left Eye Lopez on Joe?????? She scares me sometimes.

    I am always loving Big Ang and hope she keeps her own show—I can see a spin-off with Drita and Big Ang too.

    Love grows on me more and more.

    Karen and CSU—-what ever happened with Karen’s book????????

    Renee–sigh…………..and your sister is filming your rehab visit–I cannot believe that the facility is ok with it and that others are ok with being filmed. And kicking your son in the ass isnt good Renee—thats how you drive him away. It will be away from both you and Junior so maybe there is a positive there.

    Hurricane Sandy will be a real sight to watch——my cousin lost power for 2 weeks. And have many friends in Gerritsen Beach and Breezy that lost their homes—-this will be a real drink fest for me to watch.

    Thanks for all of the birthday wishes guys! It was a fun one. This episode was kind of bad for my blood pressure. I mean, I was seething, I was so angry with Karen and CousinSuckUp. And, I can just see Drita falling in a trap when it comes to Lee. I get that she was actually in love with him. But, the cheating and the way he spoke to her just makes me want to grab her and shake her. Of course, she would beat the crap out of me, but I still want to do it just to make her wake up.
    When Karen said that crap about Karina being at an impressionable age, I wanted to kick her in the face. Yes, she is at an impressionable age. That is why she shouldn’t have to be subjected to her mother’s jealous ex-girlfriend behavior on national television. And for her and CousinSuckUp to bash her feelings like that? PISSED!
    But, I did love seeing Drita interact with her daughters. They are just so beautiful and sweet.

    We are still under a severe weather warning here, so I have to sign off for now. But, I’ll be back with more.

    Here is how I see it: Drita is totally in love with Lee and has been since she was young. At this point, if she doesn’t take him back, I don’t believe she will ever get over him. If I’m not mistaken, they have only had a handful of years together because most of their marriage he has been gone. Chances are, when he gets out he will eventually go back to his former ways. Repeat stints in prison, the number of years incarcerated etc generally doesn’t cause one to change their ways – quite frequently, the more time served, the harder it is to adjust to the \free\ world – even when the individual wants it. That being said, I think it is almost necessary for her to give it another shot although I fear it will end badly. She will probably be in love with him for the rest of her life regardless of whether they stay together or not but if she doesn’t take him back she will always wonder and it will eat at her. I really love Drita but I recall her saying once that Lee is a good father but I have to disagree. He hasn’t been a father at all and I don’t care what anyone says – one can’t parent from behind bars. It is impossible. I could probably write volumes regarding families and incarceration – it’s a subject of which unfortunately I am far too familiar with. (Never end a sentence with a preposition.)

    And of course Karen SUCKS THE BIG ONE – and I hope her daughter is able to stay as far away from her mother as absolutely possible. That will be my prayer for her anyway. She’s better off (hopefully) with her Dad and his girlfriend.

    Get rid of Renee!! I fast forward through Renee every time she is on! Last nights episode was all her 2/17/13, horrible I feel cheated out of my episode Boooo
