Welcome back my lovelies. This week’s Mob Wives was an experiment is poor parenting, bad financial decisions, forgiveness, and taking stock of what’s important. Plus, there was a truce, and the women prepare for Super Storm Sandy.
Let’s dive right in. Karen and CousinSuckUp are shopping and CousinSuckUp says that she has a dilemma. Her daughter wants to invite Aleeya to her birthday party. In the normal course of events this would so not be a big deal. But, since the last time Drita and CousinSuckUp were at a party together, CousinSuckUP had a bloody lip and nip slip, while Karen through dishes and plates around like a drunken T-Rex this is no where near a normal course of events. CousinSuckUp really wants us to believe that she is a super caring mother who will do anything for her kids – accept actually plan a financial future without the help of an alleged felon – so she wants to call Drita and work out a truce.
Karen greets this news, with BitchFace number 64:
Ok, you guys, I have to call bullshit on this. Not that I think that Drita and CousinSuckUp aren’t capable of putting their issues behind them. I think Drita has been trying to put her fighting and drama behind her since the beginning of Season 2. But, when it comes to CousinSuckUp, I suspect that she is tired of being on the losing side of the popularity battle. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to learn that Jennifer G. sat Drita and CousinSuckUp down to work out this truce so that Drita could move on to a spinoff with Big Ang(Yay! and finger’s crossed), and CousinSuckUp could actually gain some popularity with the audience. I think that is also why CousinSuckUp has been trotting her kids out so much. She really wants us to like her – even though it kind of backfired a bit later in the episode. But, you know what? I am all for a truce if it means I don’t have to listen to CousinSuckUp’s ridiculous tough talk anymore.
So, now we are with Renee in therapy. They are discussing grudges and how important it is to be able to let things go. Renee says (and she sounded somewhat proud of herself to me) that once she has been wronged, she can’t forgive. Whomever has wronged her is disliked by her forever. Except, Junior. And, Karen. And that one time during the first season where she and Drita hit a rough patch. So, some married guy following Carla around a party is just a major wrong that Renee WILL NOT EVER forgive. Or, was it Carla responding to AJ being a brat on Twitter that was the major wrong? I’ve lost track of Renee’s insignificant dramas revolving around Carla. But, our drag queen will not be deterred. She has managed to find someone else to hold a grudge against. Namely, a fellow group therapy patient that Renee claims was talking about her behind her back.
I almost did a spit take at that one guys! DragQueen Renee goes to rehab, as though that weren’t dramatic enough, and still manages to find drama amongst a group of people who are all trying to clear their lives rage and addiction. It’s classic and ridiculous! It’s just so Renee.
So, Big Ang(Yay!) is at the Drunken Monkey and her on again off again husband Neil shows up to ask Ang to forgive him. Ang is all eye rolls and exasperation. She goes through the litany of issues she has with him: he left her to deal with surgery on her own, he doesn’t pay bills, he doesn’t take care of their pets, basically he does nothing. She amends that to say that he drinks Diet Coke and that’s pretty much it. She says she threw him out and they are done.
