Carla makes a joke about Drita having phone sex with Lee, and Drita’s reaction is priceless, she says, “What? Youse DON’T?” and it so classic Drita in it’s delivery that I paused, and then laughed, and rewound and laughed again.
Aww…Poor AJ. I really feel bad for this kid. He went to his grandfather’s sentencing in his mother’s place. Renee was afraid that Junior might be there so she didn’t go. AJ fills her in on a letter that his grandfather wrote about how much he loves his family, and how he does not blame her for Junior’s betrayal. I can’t imagine what this has been like for AJ. I mean, even when Renee is being awesome, she is an emotional black hole of need and perpetual drama. Having to support her while she is going through something like this has to be impossible. Considering the things that she has already inappropriately over shared with him on national television, this kid is in need of some serious therapy.
So, now it is time for the most adorable cuteness ever! Drita is playing soccer with her girls. OMG! These girls are so adorable and it looks like Aleeya is sprouting like a weed. She’ll be taller than her mom in a couple of years. Drita talks to them about how their dad wants them to come visit. Aleeya is all aboard with that plan. Gizelle is not. She has no memory of her father and it takes a little bit of convincing on Drita’s part to get her to agree.
The new girlfriend’s name is Raquel and she immediately pisses me off by saying some shit about Carla not liking her being able to make Joe happier than she did and that when the kids are there they are like their own family. Don’t get me wrong, I have never wanted to see Joe and Carla get back together and I highly doubt that Carla is jealous of this girl. I think she is territorial because her kids are involved, but not really jealous that the girl is with Joe. I just don’t like this woman trying to lay claim to Carla’s family when she has barely been in Joe’s life and has no say in raising his kids. Of course, I am laying the blame for this ridiculousness at Joe’s feet, as he seems completely clueless when it comes to acting like a responsible adult with kids.
Case in point, he is either buying or renting a huge house. Where is the money for the house coming from? Does he even have a job outside of the show? As a convicted felon, what are the odds that he can find legal work that will allow him to afford the house? These are normal things that a father would think about. But, he seems stuck on trying to impress Raquel with what he has while accusing Carla of not working. Carla gets pissed and starts to go into the story of how she worked on Wall Street, and he knew where that conversation was going (his boiler room scam that got them both fired and him arrested), so he shut her down.
