Finally, Renee is at home and gets a letter that she says is in Junior’s handwriting. I assume it’s threatening from the way she reacts. She pours a big glass of wine and says something about how she has to self medicate out of fear (that’s not a junky talking AT ALL right?).

She starts calling all of her friends. Her friends are done with her bullshit for the day and screen their calls. So, she decides to head over to the one person on this show who really needs a storyline to stay relevant, CousinSuckUp.

Next week, the women react to “the letter…”

And that’s that Gasmii. Kind of a lackluster episode, but it had it’s moments. My hopes for this season is that we will see much more Drita and Big Ang and a lot less of Renee’s nervous breakdown. Also, more feisty Carla, less CousinSuckUp and Karen. Still not sure where I stand on Love yet. I think I like her, but I also suspect she is trying too hard.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    When Carla, Drita and BigAng were at the beach, all I could think of was WTF is Carla wearing??

    Renee was so over the top with the, I count the windows, and the doors. I need to be high up so when you come to my door my shot gun is ready for you crap…We get it, you are crazy! Go get yourself a nice apartment in the city, make sure it is penthouse though, then you can have all your windows, and a rooftop garden for your botox party, you crazy lady!

    Not sure because of editing, but Renee of course was completely delusional at the botox party and decided it couldn’t be her, Karen, Ang or Ramona are the problem it has to be Love. Did Carla even know Love was going to be there as Renee didn’t til she showed up?

    I think Love did admit that Carla was or did date one of her exes, but still not sure why they should be mad at each other, but hey it’s Reality TV they just make the shit up as they go along.

    Great recap, but I think you should have given Karen some credit for trying to tell Renee to get your shit together when house hunting.

    Oh and was that a slight dig when Karen entered Renee’s and said “I want to look like you”?

    When Karen got to Renee’s house she had the fun new haircut with the bangs….but the rest of the show it was the old, long hotmess looking hair with the part down the middle….nice timeline Jennifer G!

    I caught the Renee shit stirring at the botox party too. She is redunkulous! Question – Why are the girls having a botox party with Big Ang’s doctor when KAREN OWNS A SPA?? Where did her big partnership go? BWHAHAHA! I smell a forgesi (sic?) Ova here!

    When Renee walked over and told Love that Carla didn’t show up because she had a problem with her, Mr. Yeknom and I looked at each other like \What the Who???\ It’s cray-cray how Renee came to that conclusion and then ran over to tell her made up on the spot theory. Did anyone else catch how Renee told Ang that Carla was being rude to them because even if Drita wasn’t there, Ang & Renee would have made her feel welcome (or something like that), when Renee was just told Carla she wanted nothing to do with her?? What a nutjob.

    I really don’t blame Drita and Carla for not wanting to be there….that’s a pretty small room to hold so much drama. I’ve skipped parties for the same reason. Just because you agree to be civil with someone, doesnt mean you want to hang out w/them.

    I still love Drita. Don’t think I’ll ever stop. She cracked me up w/her botox impression. And she is so cute with her girls. If nothing else, you can tell she loves and lives for those girls. The only thing I dont agree with is making Gizelle go to see Lee if she really didnt want to, then again my kid’s father isnt in jail so I have no idea how to handle that.

    I like that Carla is standing up for herself more. The botox party shows the kind of crazy she has to deal w/when it comes to Renee and I really think she’s just had enough of being Renee acting like Carler is just supposed to take the crap that is thrown at her just because Renee thinks she should.

    Carla & Joe, now? I’m w/you Plockness….I couldn’t stand the way Carla was quizzing her kids. Asking if the girlfriend is nice to you is one thing. Telling the kids that she needs to know ev-er-y-thing is another. And the smarmy smile when she said it? Ew, no. Rise above Carla! Rise Above.

    Now Joe’s girlfriend…..my oh my that little hotsy is quite the shit talker, eh? While Carla may not like that the girl is around her kids so much, I dont think she’s jealous of her being with Joe (not totally anyway). I think it’s more of Carla’s been raising the kids by herself for so long that she thinks Joe should devote more time to just the kids. I get that, but she can’t expect him to be the same kind of parent she is.

    Karen and CSU? Ugh. Even when Karen was trying to give Renee good advice, I still wanted to hit her. Those two just make me want to hurt them.

    And I’ll say it again….just because your knockers are big doesnt mean they need to be on display all the time. That goes to Love this time…..I was terrified one of her boobs was going to break free and make a run for it. I might go blind if that happens!

    YES @labowner! I thought the same thing about Carla & Raquel!

    Also, if anyone watches ID Discovery channel, Love has been on several shows…..Who the Bleep did I marry, I married a mobster, etc…. I’m not completely hating on her yet, but she does seem to be on the reality show track.

    I’m not saying anything negative about Love, because she seems like the type who reads all these recaps, and would find a bitch who said something negative about her on the internet. The only thing I will say is, don’t believe craycray Renee, especially when it come to Carla. She’s just trying to get someone to do her dirty work. Renee is all talk, very little action. Like Renee’d say she’s going to find me because I said she’s a nutcase whorebag on the Gasm, but then she’d just talk about it for two years. Love would actually show up on my front porch and shank a Sparkle.

    I loved loved loved the scenes with Drita and her kids. For all her rough and tough behavior, you can tell she’s a fabulous mom.

    Before, I start, I have to say “shank a Sparkle” is my new favorite catch phrase ever!

    Now, on to business:

    @JennBug, I watch ID Discovery all of the time! I haven’t seen Love on it, but now I have a new reason to watch! I LOVE Who the Bleep did I marry.

    @ labowner, I noticed the resemblance between Carla and Racquel too! It seemed like he was looking for a younger version of Carla who would be more willing to put up with is bullshit. I also wondered what Renee was talking about when she said that Carla had a problem with Love. If the editing is to be believed, Carla wouldn’t have even known that Love was going to be there.

    @yeknom PREACH! Renee totally lost me. I mean, I hang with Drag Queens because they are awesome, but damn she is on some really wacked out reality right now. And, it just makes me feel bad for AJ. He is actually the innocent victim in all of this mess. And not only does his mom and dad not see it, his aunt Jennifer doesn’t see it either.

    @featherhead, good point! I didn’t remember that Karen partnered with a Plastic Surgeon to open a spa because I don’t care about Karen, but now I am wondering what the deal was with that.

    @thisbuggs4u, I couldn’t even bring myself to recap that section. We know that Renee is crazy. Jennifer was just being extra mean by showing that. Or, she really wanted Karen to get some screen time sounding like a sane person. Either way, it didn’t play as well as she hoped it would, at least it didn’t for me.

    I don’t understand why you guys don’t understand – Carla didn’t want to go without Drita, so she has a problem with Love. It’s kind of like I don’t like cooked spinach, I don’t eat cooked spinach so ipso facto I have a problem with Love because one time she ate cooked spinach. It’s so obvious. Duh, guys!

    Once they spouted \Love! Carla hates you!\ I had to rewind because I thought I missed something. What I missed was the time period where all the oxygen got sucked out of the room and gave them all brain damage. Pity for all of them – luckily my girl Drita was not in attendance so she was spared.

    I don’t think that Carla is jealous of the new girl. I believe that she’s pissed with Joe because he spends all this time with his new girl instead of with his kids who he’s been away from for years. I would be upset too. Joe needs to slow down with the relationship antics and take the time to get his life in order and learn who is children are. Girlfriends are time consuming. That’s just the nature of the beast.

    I love Renee on tv but I hate Renee on tv for AJ. That kid need way more support than his mother is giving him. I hope that he’s in therapy or has some other stable adult to lean on because his mother is of no help.

    I knew I’d seen Love before. All I watch is ID channel if I’m not watching my trash television on my DVR.

    @Chicken Lips, thanks for clearing that up! I was confused and thought I missed something, lol. Sadly not too much oxygen had to be sucked from the room. Maybe it was the botox.

    @labowner, Right?? It’s like Joe just went and found someone who looked like the Carla he left when he went to jail. Also, I loved how he told Carla that the new girl contributes to the bills. You know that’s part of the reason he wants her to move in, that and to be his live-in nanny.

    @Sparkle. I love Drita with her kids. She’s really a good mom. I really liked how she told the girls that she made bad decisions and took the easy way out and they shouldnt do that.

    Raquel— back off— Joe and Carla have the children–they are not yours. Be nice to them, be helpful and the only time you touch them is to drag them from a hot stove. Carla is very funny but also a little wacko–she will kick your ass as only a woman in her 40′s can do.

    Renee– if you are so worried about security, why are you still on the show????
    I know she is going to rehab during the season but Lordy—-her anxiety and addiction is really spinning out. I am hoping she wasnt really driving after 2 large (hopefully only 2) glasses of wine. I am sure it was stock footage –it was right????

    I agree— I think we are being set up for a spin-off with Drita and Big Ang—hey maybe Chicago Leah can pop in and out–love her.

    @15 Classy— I see what you’re saying about Joe—Also I think Carla has alot of bills need paying– remember all that mail piled up in her kitchen first season???–Nothing says Need $$$$ like a big stack of mail!!!!! Mr Cawfee pointed that out to me–cannot take credit for it!! Joe nneds to get something going—he has a “talking head” now–maybe he is going to be a regualr. Hey is this “work-release” ??? What about parole????

    I laughed so hard when Renee walked into the first house like it was haunted! What a nut. She can’t have a house with more than two windows or two doors or a basement or an attic. How about a padded room, nut? I used to root for her because of what she was going through with Jooonyaaa but she’s making it very hard this season. And the crap she threw at the botox party (file under: ‘things that exist’), Carla didn’t come because of Love? Not because she didn’t want to see your insane murderous clown face again after your near brawl?!?! What a shit stirrer this one is. She knows Love is unstable to say the least so she’s proactively trying to get Carla on her bad side. Hell, Carla said she and Love have never even met! Ugh.

    As for Drita, I agree with you Plath, getting back with Lee is a really bad idea. They may miss each other and it may be good in the beginning, but when it gets bad (and it will) deep down they don’t have respect for each other and the kids will see it. I think Drita is feeling influenced by Big Ang and Carla both of whom should know better. Drita filed divorce papers for God’s sake.

    As for Carla’s situation, I think she needs to back up a bit and understand that Joe is going to have girlfriends and accept it. I know she’s trying to be mama bear here but I don’t think Raquel is that bad, I think she’s just a stupid, young girl and you’d have to be to hook up with Joe.

    I wonder if Drita is going through that phase after the break up you think you still like the person, get back together, sleep with them and bam it all comes home why you were not together any more and then you move on. IMO-I truly believe Carla and Joe did reconcile once and Carla had that same realization.

    @Plath, great recap and glad you’re back with these bitches. I love Renee, but she’s really out there this season and the season just started! I hope she tones it down some. I’m with you on Carla, I’m loving her speaking up for herself.
    Love was also on ID’s I Married a Mobster and that bitch is crazy. I’m still on the fence about her and hoping she doesn’t make me hate her like CSU and Karen. As always love Drita and Big Ang!

    @labowner….I wouldnt be surprised if that happened (Carla and Joe). I hope that’s what’s going on with Drita. I really hope she doesnt take Lee back when he gets outta the clink.

    @hot cawfee, I think once Carla found out Drita wasn’t going to be there she didnt want to be alone with all that crazy. She probably thought those crazies (minus Big Ang) would be talking shit about whoever didnt show up and she’s already been through their booze induced Drita hate.

    I think something is going to happen this season because I remember on twitter big ang posted pics of her drita and carla hanging out somewhere and drita took pictures of her wearing boots. Then she left with one boot off. Then the same night Love posted a picture of her fist on her twitter saying \broke two noses\ and the next day tweeted \ #carlacomeoutandplay but jennifer replied saying stop. It’s interesting that my theory is maybe Love gets into it with drita and carla this season.
