Mrs. Eastwood and Company Recap: Defensive Shields

For whatever reason we are introduced to a lovely scene where naked Fran is attempting to wake up so she and Ty can make their flight home. I really could have done without this scene but the saving grace is that Fran is so pasty she basically blended into the white hotel sheets. All you saw were her god awful red nails peeking around and her little ring she wears on her finger to remind her which one is used to pick her nose. Also, her dad makes billions and she can’t afford clothing? She’s always naked or in a yellow towel. Before I move on to what happens next I just want to know why Tyler thought it would be a good idea to feature his parents on this show. Seriously, you know how fucked and drug addicted your mom comes off yet you allow them to be filmed for all to judge. If they had problems before, I would think they didn’t want anything to do with him after the show aired. I’m pretty sure that was Ty’s way of saying “Fuck You” to his mom and dad for his childhood.

Something is not right about this picture.

Ty and Fran head over to his parents to say bye on the way to the airport when Ty’s mom sends him a text because she’s wandered off the farm. He eventually catches up to her and she says something about wanting a ride which is strange because there was at least 2 cars in their drive way. In the car there is a strange exchange between Ty and his mother where she tells Ty that she was on her way to pay the cable bill but didn’t have money which Ty questions because he had previously sent her a check and he knows that she cashed it. She says she used it for food and stuff (drugs? booze? hair dye?) and that she doesn’t need his help because she has been on her own since she was 18. It goes back and forth with Ty saying he helps with money but his mom denies that he sends money. You can’t argue with crazy so his mom tries to exit the moving car and walks the rest of the way to the house where Ty confronts her. Fran stays in the car while Jerry comes over and tells her not to be mad with Ty because he had a fucked up childhood and starts crying. Awkward…Eventually Ty and his mom hug and he gives her more money before taking off with Fran. Fran knows what a fuck up Ty is because of his family and history but she loves him and is in it for the long haul. Oh Fran…you just need to taste new dick to understand that you are sucking on a lemon.

Next week Fran goes engagement ring shopping with Dominic who disapproves and Dina embarrasses Morgan so bad that it reduces her to tears. Are you guys convinced that Johnny can take Overtone to the next level or are you pretty sure this is the last we will hear of them? Anyone else wonder why Fran doesn’t seem to own any clothing considering how much her parents make combined?

Great recap, SG! My favorite – “Oh Fran…you just need to taste new dick to understand that you are sucking on a lemon.” ROTFLMAO! :-)

Seeing Fran act the way she does makes me weep for the future of other girls who choose to stay with asstards like Tyler.
