Well, here we are, Gasmi, at the beginning of another episode before yet another FUCKING break! WTF?!?!? I know, I know, it’s the Oscars. But still, I’m getting a little tired of the one or two episode then a one or two week break pattern we seem to have of late. I need my Once Upon a Time fix dammit!!!!
You know, if they’re going to keep these stupid breaks up the least they can do is give us a little reward when we return.
So after the last episode I’m hoping that this one delivers on the whole “bombshell” thing that it promised last time around. Spoiler alert: Bombshell does not mean what Once Upon a Time thinks it means.
We start out the episode back in FairyLand, a long, long time ago. Rumpy is young and chipper (and limp-less) and Milah is happy and doesn’t hate him. Rumpy’s got great new for her; he’s been called to fight in the Ogre Wars! Isn’t that fantastic?
Nope. He’s just happy because he now finally gets to prove that he’s not a coward like his father was. He’s lived in the shadow of that shame for far too long now. Well, just because dear ole dad was a coward doesn’t mean HE is, Milah reminds him. Sure, sure, they both know that, but Rumpy wants the world to know it.
Milah gets on board quickly and says that when he returns, they can finally start living the life they’ve dreamed of. They can have a family….
We jump back to the present and the three musketeers have arrived in NYC. Cora’s globe must have built in navigation as well because it’s directed Rumpy to the very building where his son is. Rumpy’s got an uneasy look on his face and Emma wonders
Over in StoryBrooke, Regina is pouting in her room while Cora consoles her. She’s (still) upset that Emma left town with Henry and no one even bothered to tell her. Um…..you WERE hiding in a subterranean secret room Regina!
Cora assures Regina that Henry is safe and will not doubt be back in no time at all. “But not with me” Regina tells Mommie Dearest.
