Regina finds the spot where the book tied to the number should be, but there is an empty space there instead. Only….wait a minute…..
At first it looks like just a bunch of scribbles, but Hook knows that it’s actually a map and he can totally decipher it for them. He IS a pirate after all. He’s very adept at finding buried treasure.
Over at Snow’s place she’s broken the news about Henry’s parentage to Charming. He flummoxed over the info that Rumpy is Henry’s grandfather. HE’S Henry’s grandfather! “You can have more than one” Snow reminds him.
Thank god I didn’t marry you for your brains!
They list out for us all Henry’s fucked up family tree…Rumpy is one granddad, Charming and Snow the others. Regina is his step great grandmother AND his adoptive mother.
“It’s a good thing we don’t have Thanksgiving in our land because that dinner would SUCK.”
LOLOLOLOLOL! Too true Charming!
Snow thinks that maybe this is just the thing to mellow everyone out; maybe bring everyone closer together. Don’t count on it dearie!
Back in the Big Apple Rumpy is pressing every doorbell in the hopes of being buzzed in to Bae’s building. It works and he goes flying up the steps, trying to find SOMETHING out about his son and where he could have taken off to. If he does come back, Rumpy is going to be right there waiting for him. He picks the lock to Bae’s place and they all go in to check the place out.
Back in FairyLand at the Ogre war campsite, Rumpy is walking around and getting freaked out by the injured. Another recruit is remarking about how lucky the hurt ones are; it’s the only way to get outta there alive. But there is some good news; fresh supplies have arrived from the Duke; horses for everyone, so grab a cow (or saddle in FairyLand speak) and get ready to ride!
Naturally at the mention of cows and riding Rumpy is freaking out. It may not have been what he thought she meant, but it looks like the little witch knew what she was talking about. He heads back to her covered cage for a little chat and to plead with her to help him find a way out, but alas, she is gone.
So Rumpy takes matters into his own hands.
And that, my friends, is how Rumpy got his limp.
Over in NYC, Rumpy has successfully broken into his kid’s place and starts looking around. Emma tries to talk him out of it, but is distracted by a dreamcatcher hanging in the window and her attention to it does not go unnoticed by Rumpy. She knows something or saw something, he knows it! She better tell him or else!!!
