Henry isn’t feeling too festive either. In fact, he’s looking a bit haggard and Charming discovers he’s chugging coffee to try and avoid falling asleep.
I can totally relate, kid
Charming tells him not to worry about the nightmares because he’s gonna be right in the next room. He’s not going to let anything happen to him. It looks like that makes Henry feel a little better, and Charming sends him off to get some cocoa.
No sooner does Henry walk away then Crappy King George arrives. He tells Charming that he might have gotten the best of him in the old world, but here, in this one, he gets another shot at him.
Bring it on
Oh, he will! He tells Charming he’s still just a shepherd pretending to be a prince. He wasn’t fit to rule the kingdom and he’s not fit to run this town. And George is gonna show that fact to everyone. He says by the time he’s through with him Charming is going to wish he killed him when he had the chance.
Sorta wishing that now actually
Having taken his leave from the worst fake king dad ever, Charming heads over to the kitchen where Granny is proving that she’s handy with more than just a crossbow.
She’s a maniac……maniac…..on the door! And she’s welding like she’s never done before
You see, Red is super worried about the approaching full moon. While she learned how to control herself when in wolf form back in FairyLand, she’s worried that she won’t remember how to and will end up mauling someone when she turns. So Granny is turning the walk-in into a cage.
Charming tells Red he thinks all of this preparation is unnecessary; he KNOWS she’ll be able to control herself, he has faith in her. Plus, she can always just throw her cape on, can’t she? Sure, it she could find it. It doesn’t seem to have come over from FairyLand with her and she’s not taking any chances that she’ll hurt someone.
As Granny locks Red in for the night in Storybrooke, we head back to FairyLand where it’s also full moon time. Snow and Red are on the run from the Queen’s guards when Red notices that her cape as a tear in it and she doesn’t know if and how that will affect the cape’s magic. She wants to separate from Snow for the night, just in case. And while Snow agrees to do it, she trusts that Red wouldn’t hurt her.
Um…..did you see what I did to my boyfriend?
What neither of them knows is that a yellow eyed stranger is listening in on their conversation……….hmmmmmmm.
