Just then the leader of the pack camp emerges from his hut.  It’s Lancelot!  They run up and hug each other so whatever happened in the past must have had a happy ending.  He had no idea it was her that was one of his prisoners; if he had known he would have never left her in the pit.

Meanwhile, Aurora is looking on and is hella pissed to see Lancelot hugging the woman she holds responsible for her beloved Phillip’s death.  Mulan tells her to chill out but girlfriend has a knife hidden away and she is prepared to use it.  Dun dun dun!!!!

The two ladies sit down to join Lancelot for a late lunch of chimera.  That’s part lion, part serpent, part goat…

Next you’ll be telling me the only veggie you have is lima beans!

Look on the bright side Emma; at least you won’t be gaining a ton of weight while you’re here in FairyLand!

Snow’s confused since Regina told them that FairyLand didn’t even exist anymore.  She asks how they escaped the curse.  Lancelot has no idea.  The curse struck and when the smoke cleared some of them were left here in this region; they don’t know how or why.

Well, they can’t stay; they have to get back to Charming and Henry.  Lancelot cautions them that it is unwise to stray away from the camp; the enchanted forest is not as she might remember it.  And there are rumors that the ogres have returned.  Lancelot urges her to stay; there are no more portals left.

Well…….there might be one….

She doesn’t want to talk about though.  Not with Cora so close by.

Lancelot agrees to let her go, but only if she promises to take one of his best warriors with her: Mulan.  It’s a deal!  Snow thanks Lancelot saying he always looks out for her.

It doesn’t look like that was always the case though.  Back in the past, Lancelot has delivered her to the King.  Snow doesn’t care what he does to her; she’ll never tell him where Charming is!  He knows.  That’s not why she is here.  He asks Lancelot to bring Snow some water and tells her that he’d like to share a little story with her.

The King tells Snow that he too once loved.  He had a son that he loved who died before his time.  He tried to replace him with her Charming, offered him the world, but was rejected all for true love.  Something he knows nothing about, quips Snow.  Au contraire.  He was once in love.  Truly, madly, deeply.

He loved her and she loved him and they were happy.  But then she became cursed.  She drank a vile potion that made it impossible for them to conceive a child of their own.  Family is everything, the King tells Snow.  Losing all hope of having one; there is no greater misery.

“You’d think after everything she’s gone through she’d be better at knowing when people are liars” – ummm, isn’t Emma supposed to have special lie detecting super powers? She must have left them in her red leather jacket…

I don’t know how, but they’re pulling off the whole Snow being Emma’s mom thing. I’m buying it. And totally accepting at the same time that they’re pretty much the same age. Is it just the haircut? Was that the reason for it all along?

Aurora continued to be annoying this episode. I don’t know if it’s the actress or the character, but I find her really annoying for some reason.

I hope we find out how Cora killed Lancelot and ended up at the camp.

I love that Mulan and Aurora weren’t phased at all when Emma said Snow was her mother. I’m curious to see how many characters will see in present Fairyland.

What did happen to Emma’s lie detecting power? It never works…

As for the Snow and Emma, that scene in the nursery, especially when Snow was giving it one last look by herself? Broke my heart into tiny little pieces. The allergies were in full swing.

I hope we do find out what happened to Cora and what she did to Lancelot. I was bummed though, I was really hoping for more of him.

Can we all just talk about how super excited that not only is next week Captain Hook but it’s Rumpy vs. Captain Hook?!

I’m still on the quest to solve Whale…It’s going nowhere.

Well……..I had the same water main break as you Potty-kins. Snow looking at the restored nursery had me going and THEN we hear Baby Emma cry. Lord I did the sobgasp and had to cover my mouth.

SO as a way to distract myself—lets chat fashion shall we????? Emma’s mkickass boots are now sporting a shiv in the side–squeeeee. And SNow has a necklace charm on her necklace–makes me say hhmmmmm. Add Emma still has her circle and charm necklaces. I fixate on these things b/c in my head everything is a clue.

@ 3 Sagi– nope– I find Aurora to be a pain in the ass—so much so that I was going to sub-title my post—”All about the ass” –Emma’s boots kickass–Snow is totes kicking ass–Aurora is a pain in the ass (I guess Philip is getting much needed rest) and we were almost treated to an ogre’s ass.

@ 4 Wendy— SQUEEEEEEEEE——am superexcited too. Is Capt Hook connected to Rumpy’s wife??? Do we meet Peter Pan and Tinkerbell????? TigerLily and Wendy (heeheehee)? Was it Philip we saw in the beginning of the episode “Broken”? Am thinking it may have been some else like Capt Hook.

Doc Whale is a puzzle b/c he isn’t under Prince Charming’s rule and Regina has no idea who he is. It makes me think he is not a fairy tale character but a fictional character–Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde.
SO happy its Thursday !!! Recap and Sunday is close!!!!!

Oh—and I also had a thought (going on fictional characters) that Doc Whale could be Victor Frankenstein.

Now that Jefferson has Grace back ( yep–more sobs) will he make a move to Wonderland???

I think the dwarves are back Sunday–yay!!!!! I miss Stealthy and love that none of us ever thought Whale was one of the dwarves!!!!!!!!!

Mulan is hot and I love her. Aurora God let her run into Red on a full moon. But the Snow White/Sleeping Beauty chick fight..that is happening

I felt bad for Regina when that little brat Henry said he wanted to have lunch with her and didn’t show. Not cool

Yayyy!!! So happy this recap is finally posted!!!

    So a few things:

I nominate Ruth for best mother in law ever!!! She was so awesome!!!
I’ll miss Lancelot, I liked him but I’m glad we’re not delving into the round table right now.
I don’t understand why Snow would drink anything King George gave her, considering she was poisoned by an apple.
And I don’t think Emma’s ability to detect lies works with magic. Though that could just be me trying to pretend they didn’t forget an important character point.

    Now onto the episode!!!
Man the tears were in full swing! The Jefferson and Grace reunion, Emma/Snow bonding moment, the beautiful nursery, Ruth dying and the wedding. And despite the tears I loved it all!!!
(Also realizing that Charming and Snow had not slept together yet kind of made me laugh. Seriously how could she resist?!)
Charming and Henry sword fighting was so freaking cute my ovaries exploded!!!

@Hot Cawfee nice theory on Whale ;-)

So I missed Rumpel in this episode but I enjoyed Snow kicking ass

    Favorite lines:
“What kind of corset is this?” -Aurora
“Is there something I should know?” -Charming
“That’s what parents do they out their children first” -Ruth

Did anyone else notice how careful they were not to have Ruth say Charming’s real name?!

Now I can’t wait for Hook and I especially can’t wait for the episode after that when we finally find out about Dr. Whale! I hope we get to see Tinker Bell and Peter but I read an article that Tink might get her own origin story.

I have a new theory since King George and Cora are both after Henry. I believe that if Bae is also Henry’s father and Rumpel finds this out (or already knows this), Rumpel would also be Henry’s grandfather and let’s say Cora detains Regina and King George does something to prevent Charming, Cora and George will go after Henry and assuming that Emma and Snow are still in FairyTale Land then Rumpel will be compelled to protect Henry because he couldn’t protect Bae or Belle but he’s trying.

Also, here’s an article that I found interesting but even more frustrating because it didn’t really offer any answers. http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/10/17/cover-once-upon-a-time/

Pikey: BUT THATS TOO LONG TO WAIT D: I’m going stir crazy over here. Whale has been a thorn in my side since last year!

Cawfee: Good catch on the charms! The gasp/sob for Snow was quite loud. I’m pretty sure the people on the next block heard me.

I believe so about Rumpy’s wife. Maybe he kidnapped her? Maybe thats the body he was shown dumping overboard? I don’t think we’re going to get Peter and Tink though. Everything I’ve seen shows it just focus’ on Hook. I hope we get Peter (and Tink and TigerLily and OF COURSE my main girl, Miss Wendy Darling!)

No one seems to recognize Whale which has been leading me to believe that maybe he’s change was dramatic. Even more so than say, Snow’s hair. Probably along the lines of Dr. Hopper become human again from Cricket and Sydney out of the mirror.

Oh OH and according to Regina in the last episode, Henry has the potential to do magic (I’m guessing anyone does with the right spark? Maybe you acquire magic from like Rumpy) So I bet he can with the right timing and things.

IwantAdventure: THANK YOU ABOUT THE DRINK! I was sitting there like “what are you doing snow. What do you expect from the jerk? WHY ARE YOU DRINKING IT STOP THAT! And then she did and *sigh* Snow!

    I’m a big Rump fan so I’m glad after two Rumpy-lite (™) episode that we’re getting a Rump-centric episode.

    —-
So, King George is alive and in Storybrooke with his sights set on Henry.
Cora is alive and trying to get to Storybrooke with her sights set on Henry.
Regina has magic and is in Storybrooke with her sights set on Henry.

Boy…Henry has a lot of people after him…..

@WendyBird: Haha! Technically Snow and Emma are trying to get back to Storybrooke for Henry too. Poor kid. Also why does he keep wanting to name his operations after snakes?! I mean okay I get it but I hate snakes! Regina is the only one with legitimate feelings toward Henry, she technically has his best interests at heart. Cora and King George are out for revenge. King George because Henry is proof that Charming unlike himself and Charming’s twin the real James(this name situation is getting confusing!)ended up happily. Cora would do anything to get back at Regina and since Regina killed her father Henry is the only person left that she loves. I worry for Henry’s pure little heart!

So I am just as frustrated with Dr. Whale. I mean I’m enjoying the theories and I don’t want to spoil it because we’re so close!!! I mean we could potentially figure it out based on the preview after next week’s episode…Ooo the anticipation!!! Anyway, I found this set pic and thought it might give us something else to discuss about Whale, while fueling our frustration! http://www.david-anders-online.com/cutenews/data/upimages/DSC_0088.jpg

Adventure: You’d think Henry was made out of solid gold or something….Wait! Then Rumpy would want him!

I’m wondering if Henry is some source of magical power? Like Emma was, perhaps he’s valuable?

From the looks of Whale’s arm it seems he’s wearing a green screen sleeve on his left arm. WHAT COULD THIS MEAN!??!?!?!?!??!!

@WendyBird LMAO!!! First, I love my nickname, like you I chose mine to relate to Disney, Belle is my favorite princess and she sings “I want adventure in the great wide somewhere”…Thought I’d just share that little fact. Anyway, Henry might as well be gold if he is a source of magic but I feel like it’s simpler than that. He’s a kid who has been abandoned and just wants to be loved by his mommy. He’s more a source of happiness for the true villains like King George and Cora who don’t want to see anyone happy because they’re so miserable in their choices.

I noticed the green sleeve but his chest appears to have some kind of bandage and his shirt looks like there’s blood on it, maybe he gets attacked by Red?! Does he lose his arm?! Does he grow something in the place of his arm? So many questions!!! lol!

Upon further investigation of the pic I believe if he was missing his arm the green screen bandage would have to cover his hand…In which case I’m going to assume he still has his arm but there’s something the on green screen bandage that will be added in post. His clothes are slightly disheveled but his hair doesn’t look messy but this is obviously after the incident because he looks mostly cleaned up. He doesn’t look happy talking to Rumpel…Ugh! Sorry for being a super poster!

@Hot Cawfee: You’re talking about Charming right? Because his twin is dead, we saw it happen but King George also mentioned it to Snow when he was talking about losing the things he loves, he mentioned the real James and said that he was cut down before his time and then Charming, who was offered everything rejected King George and went off to pursue true love. Though I might be confused as to what you’re referring to in my first comment.

Adventure: I hope you know, I started singing that song as soon as you said that. That soundtrack is my favorite of all Disney films. I used to fall asleep listening to it! For some reason, whenever I see your username it’s reminded me of UP “Adventure is out there!” Probably because I spend too much time at Disneyland now and they have Wilderness Explorer ceremonies.

Henry is definitely going to become a target this season for a lot of characters. It seems like every episode hints to it. Wether it be to love him, (Regina, Snow, Emma) or to use him for something (Cora, George, Probably Rumps)

Never apologize for super posting! The thing I love about everyone is how much we theorize about everything. I’m wondering what could it mean having a green screen sleeve on but your hand and rest of your body are fine… I can’t think of any characters.

So…I took a little trip over to Wikipedia to see if there was anything about Whale and it looks like we’re going to find out Captain Hook’s real name in the next episode….And I know the name of the mysterious man in the opening scenes of the season.

    YOU GUYS!

My anthology of Grimm’s Fairy Tales was just delivered from my mom. She finally dug it out of our bookcase back home after me asking for it all summer. Anyway, I was flipping through each story over breakfast (brunch?) and came across the tale of Doctor Know-all. I definitely didn’t remember it from a kid, I probably skipped over it in favor for Snow White! Could it be possible that Whale is Doctor Know-all? Doctor Know-all wasn’t a real doctor, he was basically a scam artist. The episode that will tell us about Whale is called “The Doctor” which is leading me more and more down that road.

This is probably a far-flung idea, and I really like the Dr. Know-all idea better, but maybe Dr. Whale is King Arthur? Now that they’re bringing Arthurian legend into it all. Really I can’t wait to find out who he is. Although I’ll miss theorizing about it.

And I think it’s just Aurora who’s annoying, because Sara Bolger was awesome in The Tudors as Princess/Lady Mary.

I cannot WAIT to see Captain Hook. I’ve loved the actor who plays him since he was in The Tudors (I watch a lot of that show too, and have been excited to see actors from it in OUaT).

@Hot Cawfee let me see if I can de-confuse you in as short an explanation as possible…Charming assumed James’ identity when James died. They were both Ruth’s children but like so many Ruth made a deal with Rumpel who made a deal with King George. Hope that helps!

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite!!! It was the first movie my parents took me to see when I was little. Plus I love that Belle is into reading, she’s an intellectual princess (Belle reading is my cover photo on Facebook because it totally encompasses everything I love!) ;-) I want to live in the new cottage they built in Disney World! I love Up so now I’m going to pretend my username has two meanings lol!

Snow and Charming were the focal point last season and given the way the finale ended with Henry it makes sense that Henry would be this season. Honestly, Charming is getting the better end of the deal. Snow may be bonding with Emma but Charming is responsible for a child which is the loss Snow is feeling. I wonder if they’ll have more babies…Would that be awkward? Will we get a Charming shirtless scene?! I mean this isn’t HBO so I’ll keep it tame lol!

@WendyBird: I love the theories on her too. I was much more of a lurker last season so I’d just read the recaps and the comments but never get involved. I was a little preoccupied with other real life things anyway, but I’m so glad I started commenting this season. It makes me more excited for Sundays but at the same time satisfies me until we get the new episode and then I look forward to the recap being posted.

I’m shocked Wikipedia gave that away…I might go and sneak a peek, I have no will power!

Captain Hook has a real name?! I mean okay that makes sense but still, I hope it’s something embarrassing but what could be worse than Smee?! I wonder if we’ll see any ticking crocs?!

My friends and I were discussing Rumpel’s character and how he’s kind if like Captain Jack Sparrow, completely out for himself but you love him and can’t imagine what he’ll do next. Me thinks Rumpel, dearie is a bit more awesome than Captain Jack but I bring this up because I’m curious how they’ll make Captain Hook different. He’s the bad boy character I can already tell I’m going to have a thing for but he’s going to be a real baddie! I’m sure he’ll want to get back at Rumpel and how fun that will be.

I’m sticking to the idea that Whale gets attacked by Ruby…He probably deserves it too.

I really like that theory of Doc-Know-All, Whale totally seems like a scam artist. The EW article said we’ll be visiting a land we’ve never seen but I can’t remember if that comment was related to this week’s episode or next week’s…It’s in the link I posted in my first comment, somewhere.

@ellemck1: I know the feeling of wanting to see actors from other shows. I hope we get more Maleficent because the actress Kristen Bauer van Straten is Pam from True Blood and she’s truly awesome, I would enjoy some Aurora backstory just for that! OUAT has a lot of ties to True Blood too, the Mystery Man was on the show too.

Adventure: Belle is my second favorite! Ariel’s my first. But that’s cause I was a little ginger kid and she was the only redheaded princess around! Plus, The Little Mermaid came out the year I was born. *sigh* Belle’s cottage/Beast’s Castle Dining Restaurant is a dream come true. I wish I was in Florida! I’m so, so jealous they get Beauty and the Beast stuff! I watched a sneak peak tour of it on the Disney blog (I swear I’m not obsessed…..maybe) and it looks SO GOOD! All I know Belle is getting at Disneyland is her own little place in the new Princess Pavilion their building by Aurora’s castle.

It caught me off guard, I was really just looking for the name of Whale’s episode to get a clue. But yes, Hook has a dual name like everyone who’s in Storybrooke so either he’s been to Storybrooke or, it’s his name before he was the ruthless captain hook. If we see Tick Tock or get any reference to him I might die. I love Tick Tock, when I was 6 my ballet class did a salute to Disney with “Never Smile at a Crocodile” It wasn’t too embarrassing though. Not ilk Eugene or something!

I know Ruby has another episode of her own this season called “Moon Child” and we will be going back to Wonderland before the mid-season break.

Doctor Know-all is a left field. I’m still grasping at any straws I can, especially since his episode is called the Doctor and he is a Doctor. We don’t even know his first name (at least I don’t remember it) so the Doctor thing has to be important. I still really like the Doctor Frankenstein or Dr. Jeckle theories.

Yeah, its just his name! I found it interesting he had one. Especially since names are so important in the OUaT realm.

Ellen: I thought about him being King Arthur, especially with the “You’re Not My Prince ” and the fact that it was rumored that Lancelot was going to be around a few times this season.

I’m with you on Sara Bolger being an awesome actress. I’m wondering if the reason we find Aurora so annoying at times it because they haven’t given her much depth. Even in her own episode, there wasn’t much about her and she seems like a young girl who hasn’t been exposed to much. I hope Aurora improves!

@WendyBird: The Little Mermaid came out the year I was born too! :-) you would think Ariel would be my favorite princess, especially because Ariel is a part of my name (people asked if my parents did it on purpose but they hadn’t even seen The Little Mermaid)! And I always enjoyed it but I always identified better with Belle. I have always joked that I should go be a Disney princess, did you know that the Tinker Bell who flies off the castle before the fireworks in Disney World wears 75 pounds of lights?!! I feel like it would be a fun thing to do just to say I did it…Being an Creative Writing major I have decided that I’d be totally happy writing for OUAT!!! Now THAT’S a wish that my heart makes lol!

I think Hook is in Storybrooke the promos for the season premiere show him breaking into Rumpel’s shop and stealing his Hook. Wonder what he’s been up to for the past 28 years.

I babysit for kids that watch Jake And The Neverland pirates on Disney Junior and Captain Hook is absolutely petrified of anything ticking or crocs. I love when OUAT makes funny references like that, so I’m looking out for something!

I like this idea of Ruby trying to eat Whale. I mean I’m sure OUAT will do its best to make me feel sympathetic toward him but he’s aggravating me so much I feel like he deserves a little pain in return.

I think the Doctor Know-All is closer to anything we’ve discussed. I still like my Little Mermaid theory but if you think about it what real Doctorly things have we seen him do?! We’ve seen him work with Regina when it came to Charming’s coma and he was kind of there with Henry and the poisoned turnover. I kind of imagine it like in Catch Me If You Can, he refers to other doctors “do you concur?” and doesn’t actually do anything. Our first encounter with him was with Snow and we didn’t get such a great vibe. I want to say he’s no prince but I feel like that’s not a fact. I mean the prince’s we’ve seen have been hot, chivalrous, and victorious(the dead James was a gloating ass who killed for sport, not overly princely and so his own arrogance killed him). They’ve defied their parents(Prince Thomas!) or gave even themselves (Phillip, we hardly knew ye!), etc. Whale just seems like a lacky or a hack, I would say he’s Aladdin but he definitely isn’t Arabian and that just wouldn’t make sense.

I agree it’s strange it’s just his name but like Whale(whose first name we definitely don’t know) there are no real defining characters about it…The clues are too all over the place. I still go back and forth between who sent him that note.

I feel Aurora has no substance she’s all mournful and vengeful for he Phillip. Maybe she stopped complaining and seemed more like her own person, not a little parasite attached to Phillip or Mulan, who seems to just be putting up with her because they shared losing Phillip. It goes back to what I was saying before about the princes we’ve seen, it’s same thing with the princesses, strong, intelligent women who aren’t dainty little flowers but warriors at heart. Aurora isn’t any of those things but I think she has the potential to be, it’s early yet.

Adventure: Hey Hey! We’re the same age! I had a Little Mermaid outfit and I tried to wear it to preschool everyday. Im pretty sure it finally turned to dust when I grew out of it… Yes! She also has the strictest height-weight requirements of any character cast member because of the lights and that she has to be perfectly balanced. If you’re any character, you have to take a special class to learn the characters signature so no matter who’s playing them it always looks the same. I graduated with a degree in fine art almost a year ago (It’s been a year? kill me now) and I used to live a couple hours from where they film. I had the strongest urges to go to the set and be like “LET ME WORK FOR YOU”

So Hook’s in two places then! Cause in a future episode, he and Emma go on a trip together. Could Hook have a secret portal between the two? THIS JUST GOT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING!

It would be like how they showed Chip in the Beauty and the Beast episode. There is just no Hook without a silly ticking croc.

I wonder if the reason we don’t like Whale is because we’ve only seen his Storybrooke side and Storybrooke brought out the worst/strangest qualities in people. Snow White becoming a timid school teacher, Charming becoming a cowardly confused man etc. etc. On the other hand, he could be just like Sydney and be a once tragic and kind figure turned rotten. I can’t figure him out and none of the clues from the season of who’s coming, is helping.

I still think it was August who sent the note. Just because no one else can leave, which is a lazy theory but until we get a couple more glimpses of him, it’s hard to do any more.

The problem with Aurora for me it that so far she’s just a device for the writers, we haven’t been getting anything about her, aside from the one hint “Some of us make different kinds of sacrifices”. Other than that we get her scared and confused over what happened to Fairytale land or sulking and angry over Phillip. But then, the original Aurora never got to have much to her either. Sheltered her whole life since she was a baby, treated like glass because she wasn’t suppose to touch anything that could possibly being a spinning needle. She grows up in the woods with no contact to anyone really and then pricks her finger and falls asleep. She doesn’t have much going for her in terms of the other princess’. I hope they use her more though, with the hint of her sacrifice, she might have the potential to be a great leader over the refugees.

SagKim: I love that everyone’s sharing their favorite princess! It’s always so interesting to see who, each likes and why! Especially since the Golden Age princesses are so different from the Renaissance princess’ and I’m not sure what they’re calling the new age of Disney that started with Tiana….

Well all of us being the same age is definitely an indication of the target age for OUAT lol! I just turned 23 this month! It makes sense though, our Disney movies were the best! It’s sad that the princesses now just aren’t the same. Rapunzel is pretty cool and no one really counts her but I like Giselle.

@WendyBird: I know, I have the Disney character casting link saved in my bookmarks on my computer. I have to say I feel California has higher standards. When I went to Disneyland the characters looked much more like the princesses than in Disney World. That’s so cool you were so close to where they filmed!!! Did you ever drive by to check it out?! I feel like I would send love notes to the writers. or writing samples from princess stories I wrote when I little(when I was in elementary school, maybe second or third grade a wrote a story about how one of the princesses, I feel like it was Aurora but I can’t remember if that’s correct, had a baby and the evil queen was trying to steal her…I wonder if I still have it lol! Obviously they stole OUAT from my second grade mind but I’ll forgive them for a job hehe!) College goes fast, too fast, except when you change your major and have to catch up on credits like me :-/

Hook and Emma go on a trip? How intriguing? She’s into guys with issues, Graham without his heart(bless his poor soul!) and August(Okay I’m not really sure that was a love interest but there was sexual tension!). Hook would have a portal, unless Emma and Snow get back to Storybrooke before this trip.

I wonder what Aurora would do if she came across a spinning wheel? I feel like it would be really funny.

I like the idea that we’re not seeing the whole Whale, EXCEPT, the minutes he becomes fully aware of himself he arranges a mob to go after Regina, tells Charming he’s not his prince, no one recognizes him and then while the town is trying to sort itself out he literally asks permission to chase skirts. So I’m going to conclude he’s pretty much the same as when he was just Dr. Whale. They’re doing a good job of keeping it a mystery but not for much longer. Depending on how they splice next week’s preview, we just might be able to figure it out or they won’t show anything related to Whale and we’ll be forced to be patient one more week…Ugh!

I feel like it depends on who the Mystery Man is. The other day I was considering Jefferson if the guy is the March Hare/White Rabbit, I’ve also considered August, he seems the most likely person. However, it could be Regina or Rumpel, they may know someone outside, we know Rumpel does because he made the deal that brought Henry to Storybrooke. Personally since I think the man is Bae AND Henry’s father I think Henry found him. I don’t think for a second he believed Emma’s story about his father and he found Emma so I don’t see why he wouldn’t go looking for his dad. The difference is Emma can enter Storybrooke and Mystery Man obviously could not. That’s also why I don’t think it was a FairyTale character that crossed the border. They pulled Sneezey back no problem so any former character with only their Storybrooke persona left could still walk right into Storybrooke, plus I don’t think the Mystery Man would understand what that one word meant. Unless he was informed to wait because with Emma around the curse was sure to break soon.

I could see Aurora rallying, I could also see her traveling to Storybrooke in the hopes of starting over. I get that not every couple gets a happy ending but since Aurora and Mulan are in this love triangle I can’t shake the idea that there’s a way to retrieve a soul…I would suggest Davey Jones’ locker but that’s very Pirates of the Caribbean and not very Wraith-like, maybe include some “Dark Prince”-Lucifer stuff? And/or they’ll include some Greek mythology? Some Hades perhaps…Maybe some Megra and Hercules?! OOO!!! I just got myself really excited for this idea!!!

Hmmm now I’m trying to fit Whale into one of those character groups. I could see him on Mount Olympus, no wonder he’s so high and mighty and Charming isn’t his Prince, he’s a god lol!

That makes me the oldest. Not by too much though! I love that Disney has gone back to making classic Disney movies. Thank you whoever decided to put John Lasseter in charge of all Disney animation! I really loved both Princess and Frog and Tangled, though Tangled had me a bit worried (I prefer traditional animation). I am so excited Frost comes out next year (Hans Christian Andersen’s the Snow Queen) I like Giselle too! Even though she’s not technically a Disney Princess. There’s only ten, soon to be eleven of those. Granted both Pocahontas and Mulan are official Disney Princess.

Adventure: I have the casting bookmarked too, the casting standards are intense. As are the classes you go through. I have a friend who’s an Ariel and it’s kind of insane how different she looks in costume than out.

No :( Crossing the border is usually a pain (coming back, not going in) and I never had anyone who would let me drag them to Canada for a tv show. Now that I live in So-Cal, I do go to Disneyland a lot. In California Adventure they have Snow and Charming’s costumes up in Hollywood Land and some Once Upon a Time merchandise to buy. I live next to the Disney/ABC studios and I always have the strongest urge to go beg them to let me work on a Disney movie or Once! *sigh* One day, I’m always on the Disney Employment page! I wish I was still in college, well I do but I don’t but I do….It’s complicated.

According to a little article I read from the writers where they talked about Emma’s trust issues and how she was going to have to learn to trust certain people she doesn’t want to, to get back home. They used Hook as an example. If Hook has a portal….SHARE!

I feel like she would either be terrified or she’d get really angry and kind of beat it up. Like her princess composure would snap.

I have a feeling they’re not going to tell us anything in the preview. They’re going to drag it out as long as possible to give all of us an aneurysm. It’ll be nail biting the entire week and then the episode will air and I’ll probably throw something because he’ll probably be someone really obvious or really obscure.

I hope we see more of the mystery man soon. If they go too many more episodes without showing him again, most people are going to forget I feel like. Especially if people turned in a bit late for the first episode forgetting it was on. I have to wonder, if the Storybrooke people can’t leave, can people come in now?

Greek mythology would be AWESOME! I’m a huge mythology fan. Granted it would be extremely complicated too. But all Lit is up for game right? As long as it falls into a type of tale…… If he’s a god, he’s probably Ares. Hot Head, Cocky, Likes the Ladies, Likes to rile people up into “war”

Alright, now time to go get ready for work and hope that we close up fast enough so I can get home for Once!

Hook was hot. Even if his eyeliner was getting to Captain Jack Sparrow by the end…

Hey, I’m 23 too (September)! 1989 was a great year.

I always loved Hercules and Meg, so I’d love to see them on this show. And yeah, the commercials gave away who Whale was instantly. Next weeks episode should be interesting. I finally broke down and bought a notebook for my Once Upon a Time theories. I have too many to just think about them and write on scraps of paper!
