In Storybrooke, Regina is very disturbed to see that her apple tree is dying. Hopefully that’s a sign that means her grip on this world is starting to slip. She heads over to Gold’s place to confront him and tell him that Emma has gots to go! He says that perhaps she’ll have to let Emma take Henry if she wants the Savior to leave and the curse to stay intact.
NEVER GONNA HAPPEN
Wait. What did he just say? Did we just get confirmation that Regina knows who Emma is? Because I didn’t think she knew about that!!! Right?!?!? What the hell?!!!! I’m a little blown away by how casually they handled that revelation.
He ALSO says that killing Emma will break the curse. whatwhatWHAT???? Now. I’m not so sure that I really believe that; Rumpy Gold is not always the most truthful person, but it’s an interesting fact if that’s the case.
Regina wants Gold’s help in getting rid of Emma, but he tells her he’s planning on taking a trip and she doesn’t have ANYTHINGthat he wants.
BUT SHE DOES!!!
Regina keeps that little tidbit to herself. Dang. I was SURE she was going to spring that one on him, but she must know how pissed he’s gonna be when he finds out that she’s had his ladylove locked away all this time. Considering that she was the one who told him Belle was dead.
Regina has another plan up her sleeve, and puts a white rabbit card on Paige’s bicycle. Oooooo….Paige is Jefferson’s daughter! But who is the White Rabbit???
While Regina is leaving her White Rabbit card, Emma arrives home to get an earful from Mary Margaret. She’s not happy that Emma was ready to skip town without so much as a good-bye. And reminds her that when SHE wanted to run off, Emma asked her to trust her and stay put.
What are you….my mom?
Over in Fairyland, Snow and her Merry Men are getting ready to rescue Charming. Granny thinks they are really gonna need some air support, but Grumpy says he’s got that covered; he knows someone who owes him a favor. Red comes back from a scouting mission, but before she’s able to report, Grumpy tells her she’s got a little “someone” on her chin.
Thanks man; it would really suck to walk around with a meat mustache all day!
Bwahahahaha! Too funny! She confirms that King George has Charming locked away and adds the news that the Queen is in town. Snow correctly deduces that it’s because Regina knows she’ll try to rescue her love, but obvious trap or not, she’s gonna go get her man!
Regina is gloating over in the dungeon, telling Charming that she has a fate worse than death in store for his lady love.
We head back to Storybrooke and find out that the rabbit card was a message to Jefferson, who has come to meet with Regina. But……but……I thought he disappeared into the hat that Emma made? Where did he go? What has he been doing?
Did he actually get hotter while he was gone?
I have a thing for dudes that wear eyeliner. What can I say?
Regina tells him that she needs his help to get something from Fairyland and she’s got his trusty old hat to help him in this quest. He points out that it doesn’t work; there’s no magic there and besides, he’s still pissed at her over what happened the last time he helped her out. She’s got some magic; hopefully enough for one last journey.
And she’ll totally make it worth his while this time; she’ll reunite him with his daughter and give them a fresh start. He doesn’t want that for his kid; living with two worlds inside his head has been torture and he doesn’t want her going through the same thing. Instead, he tells Regina that he wants her to make him forget.
