Thankfully, a warrior is close by and lets loose an arrow that drives the Yaoguai away. The warrior is Mulan (DUH) and although Belle is thrilled to have been saved, Mulan is not so thrilled to see Belle.
Stupid girl. You ruined everything!
Mulan’s been tracking the Yaoguai for weeks! Well, Belle found it in a day. Mulan chalks it up to luck, but Belle says luck had nothing to do with it, it was her book that led her here. She says she could help Mulan find it again, but Mulan is not interested; if she really wants to help she should stay out of Mulan’s way.
Damn. PMS much?
Back in StoryBrooke, it seems like it doesn’t matter that the nearest cell tower is probably hundreds of miles away, Rumpy heard enough to know that Belle is in trouble, so soon enough he is there to come to her rescue. Except Hook is gone.
Everyone has gathered at Snow’s place to mourn Archie. Emma’s scrounged up a pop tart for Henry, but he’s not real interested in food right now. Grumpy (and the other dwarves) are wondering when they all get to go home to the enchanted forest. They’re worried about safety what with Regina being a (framed) murderer and all. Plus, what happens if someone from the outside stumbles into town?
I’d have to shave my legs, and back, and face! Shit. Maybe I should buy a waxing kit instead.
Emma points out that no one from the outside is even here. Yet, Grumpy points out, and while they might enjoy things like penicillin, they’re still a bit homesick.
Elsewhere in town, Rumpy and Belle are heading back to his shop where he says they will find many wonderful things that will fuck a pirate up. Belle wants to report the incident to the Sheriff, but Rumpy insists on handling it himself.
She points out that he is so close to finding his son, she doesn’t want his hatred of this man to get in the way of that. But he tried to hurt her! This leads her to question what happened between Hook and Rumpy. Rumpy gives her the abbreviated version, conveniently leaving out the fact that he killed Milah, only saying that Hook stole his wife and then she died.
They go inside the shop and find the place turned upside down. Rumpy discovers that Hook has stolen Bae’s shawl and he is HELLA PISSED. Hook is watching from a nearby roof and when Smee questions what exactly it is that he’s stolen for his boss, Hook says it’s the end of the crocodile’s hope.
But rather than destroy it immediately, I’ll just keep it around so that there’s a chance he’ll be able to get it back. I just love it when a good plan comes together!
