Snow tells her it’s alright; the nightmares will fade away. She tells her to go back to sleep and she’ll watch out for her; who else does she have to take care of?
In the giant’s castle, Emma wonders why the fuck the giant wouldn’t hire a housekeeper with all the freaking gold he has laying around the house.
In other words, how are they supposed to find a compass in this mess?
Back in the past, Emma retrieves the watches despite looking like the guiltiest person alive.
I’m totally not picking up stolen goods. Nope. Not me!
Luckily the nearby cops are too busy debating the merits of jelly vs. Boston creme to pay her any mind.
Hook and Emma continue to look for the compass, but Hook is also trying to calculate just how much treasure they could carry down the beanstalk. They happen upon the skeleton of Jack the giant killer
Or some dude that stole Jack’s sword.
Don’t bother wondering what happened to him because we’re not going to find out. Emma also grabs Hook ‘s ass, preventing him from setting off a booby trap. Hook would be happy to satisfy his randy needs, but Emma shits him down, saying they need to find the compass before that poppy dust wears off.
Back in the past teen Emma meets up with Neal having successfully retrieved the stolen watches. He’s gonna go meet his fence (after giving Emma one of the watches to keep for herself) and he’ll meet her later over near the tracks.
Neal’s walking down a creepily foggy street when he realizes he’s being followed.
By our favorite wooden puppet man.
Well, technically August, but you get the picture. He assures Neal that he’s not a cop, but tells him he’s sorta kinda Emma’s guardian angel who ran off and left her to fend for herself in a foster home but is now back and ready to get her on the right path again.
So once he decided he was ready to get back on track, he spent two years looking for Emma only to find her on her current crime spree path with Neal. He tells Neal that if he really wants to take care of Emma he’ll have to leave her; only then will she be able to fulfill her destiny. So…..part of her destiny is a broken heart? Makes sense to me!
Dude. That’s harder to swallow than Emma being a teenager
August tells Neal that it’s good he loves Emma; that means he has to do right by her. Neal remains unconvinced, but August has something that will be sure to show him the way.
What the fuck are they looking at?!@?!?!?
