August tells him about the curse and then says he’s going to tell Neal a little story and at the end of the story he’s going to have a decision to make. Will he do the right thing?
Since when is setting your girlfriend up to take the fall doing the right thing?
That’s all sorts of fucked up.
Back at the giant’s castle Emma and Hook are STILL looking for the damned compass, but their time has just run out. The poppy dust has worn out and they can hear (and feel) one pissed off giant making his way to where they are.
Hook gets buried under a pile of rubble…….but we have to wait and see what happens to Emma because we’re heading to Vancouver for a meeting of the jackasses, Neal and August. Neal has kept the VW bug, and August tells him that Emma’s currently doing an eleven month stint for the stolen watches. Neal says it should be him! He should be doing that time!
No, you need to stay the fuck outta her life.
All so she can do what she’s supposed to do. Neal says if he can’t be there for her then August needs to promise that he will be. He promises. Too bad the whole nose growing thing didn’t follow him into this world because we all already know he’s full of shit.
Neal asks him to give Emma the VW bug (complete with Swan keyring) and he also hands over the dough he made from fencing the watches.
I’m leaving…on a jet plane…don’t know when I’ll be back again…what? Oh yeah, I’ll be sure she gets the cash
Before August leaves Neal says if anything changes……August says he’ll send him a postcard. Hee! At least he kept that promise!
Back with the giant, Emma is getting crushed in his giant fist. He calls her a thief and it looks like his plan is to squeeze her to death, but she bites him.
Emma, what big teeth you have!
Of course this causes the giant to drop her and Emma uses her quick wit to set off the booby trap and trap him under the trap dropped by the booby trap.
He assumes she’s going to kill him since all human are vicious killers. She just wants the compass. After a brief discussion about the victors writing history, the giant hands over the compass to Emma and she feels a little sorry for him.
She sees a shriveled up old bean on the ground and wonders if it can make a portal. No, it can’t; he just wears it as a reminder that all humans are nasty giant killers. She’s not! And she proves it by setting him free. He repays her by showing her the easiest way out and she asks him for another favor. Next thing you know, Captain Hook is freed from the rubble…and chained to a post. Emma says she just can’t take the chance that she’s wrong about him.
I am going to spank you so hard once I get free.
