In the forest of Storybrooke, RumpyGold is up to something. He takes out the dementor/wraith pendant and stabs it with his Rumpy dagger. Regina bolts up in her cell as her palm sizzles with the pendant symbol now burned into it. The dementor/wraith appears in the forest and then heads off to enjoy a rotten soul supper.
On Main Street, Emma sends Henry off with Red before rejoining her parents. Snow wants to talk to Emma, but Emma doesn’t feel like talking right now. Too bad, Gold can wait, Snow can’t. She wants to talk to her daughter. She knows they’ve talked already, but they didn’t know that they were talking, and sometimes they talked about inappropriate things like one stands and what nots.
That one doesn’t get by Charming. “One night stands?” he asks. “Whale.” Snow replies.
“We were cursed. That is neither here nor there.” LOLOLOLOLOLOL. I love that! Anyway, Snow wants to know why Emma doesn’t seem all that happy that they’re all back together again. Well, MOM, maybe it’s because she’s felt like she was abandoned her whole life! But they only did that to give her her best chance!!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever.
It doesn’t change the fact that for her entire life she’s been alone. But, Snow tells her, if they hadn’t sent her away, she would have been cursed too. But they would have been together, Emma counters. And so the guilt trip begins. I’m thinking she might even get a brand new car out of this one!
Mulan and Aurora may have no idea that Phillip’s been marked, but he certainly knows he’s toast and so when they stop to make camp for the night he makes an excuse about going to get firewood and heads off into the night.
This is not a “I’ll see you in five minutes” kiss!
Back at RumpyGold’s shop, he is sitting down for a cup of tea when Emma and Co. arrive to find out what the fuck is going on. He doesn’t know what they’re complaining about; the curse is broken, they should be throwing him a parade or something!
What about him bringing magic back? Fortunately for him the dementor/wraith he summoned picks that moment to show up (not that anyone else knows) which causes a bit of shuddering and wind and the like. When Emma wonders what’s going on, RumpyGold says, no biggie, it’s just a little surprise for Regina.
Emma and the gang head off to save the evil bitch that has made their lives living hells because that’s what good guys do, (with RumpyGold first reminding Emma that she still owes him a favor). Meanwhile, Belle has been listening to this exchange and is not happy that RumpyGold is breaking his promise to her. No, no, he points out; his promise was that HEwouldn’t kill Regina. He’s just playing with words, she points out. She really thought he had changed.
In the hour you’ve known me?
