Spencer meets up with the TailGater who tells her that he knows where the key belongs to but will need more money to be convinced to share the information. He then tells Spence that before Toby left he bought some hydrangea flowers which is unusual of the people he normally tails. Em meets up with her mother at the police station as a cover to steal the picture of Detective Douche which links him to Cape May and Ali. The picture is missing of course since they gave him the evidence linking him to Ali. Emily finds a postcard written from A on her mother’s desk that says:
“Stop digging! The police already know that it is you who is capable of murder”
Em meets up with Spence and says that A is threatening to kill her when Spence corrects her and says that the message says that she is capable of murder and tries to tell her that it wasn’t her fault about Nate. If Spencer were my friend I would likely punch her in the face, this boohoo shit is getting old quickly. Emily tells Spence about the girl that Paige met with and reveals that she works at a costume shop and Paige was trying to find out who the girl in the queen of hearts costume was. Hanna thought Paige was cheating by meeting with her. Em tries to convey to Spence that things aren’t always as they seem. That’s true but I’m pretty sure Toby used her to get close to the girls…she basically accused him of sleeping with Jenna and killing Ali. Why would he all of a sudden fall in love with her and honestly that is good grounds for setting her up.
Em meets with Dr. Sullivan who has opened her practice again after the Mona incident. Dr. Sullivan wants to hypnotize Emily to try and remember what might have happened the night she murdered Nate which is stupid because Emily remembers everything from that night. When she does go under hypnosis she recalls smacking Ali with a shovel the night she died as Ali pleaded for her life. Dr. Sullivan leaves the office that night and runs into Mona who tells her that she is better and will never be able to repay her for all she has done. Passive Aggressive Mona is my favorite version so far because you can see that Dr. Sullivan doesn’t believe her. Emily has another flashback to French class with Ali and discussing living in Paris together forever. Man Ali’s taco was an equal opportunist and she really messed with Emily’s head. Em’s mom stops in for a cameo parent moment and tries to comfort her but it doesn’t really help.

Wait I thought that the tomb Spencer scratched up was Garrett’s mom’s…Then again I don’t remember Toby’s back story. I just know that he and Jenna were step siblings.
Ezra’s Bro creeps me out. There is just something off with him, and I can’t put my finger on it yet.
I kind of like the Crazy Spencer. But not this crybaby bitch that she is being.
Hanna was on to Caleb’s “uncle” from the start. I knew he was Caleb’s dad, just from the way he looked at him.
I think that either Cray-Cray Meredith or CC could be the lady in the red coat…
Um, could we keep book spoilers out of the recaps? It’s confusing for those if us who just watch the show and want to be surprised by new developments.
I think Ezra’s brother is the father of the boy. Obviously, new likes sleeping with women who are taken.

Umm I never read the books! I don’t know what you are talking about. These are just my opinions. I said the same thing about Meredith in the episode she had Aria in her basement. WE saw someone in a red coat when Hanna went to her interview.

Huh? I wasn’t talking to you. I am talking about spoilers in the recaps. This is the second time a “Courtney” has been mentioned. Let’s not get ahead of what’s on the screen and ruin it for those who don’t read the books. I watch this show for the suspense, I don’t want to anticipate new characters until they are revealed.
The thing that bothers me about Wes is that the actor hasn’t yet learned to fully cover up his English accent. So everything sounds unnatural. He has to flatten his vowels (see Damian Lewis or Ed Westwick). You can hear the Aussie in Jenna too.
Eh, sorry. I must have missed that part…
I never read the books. But I do know that there were some posters that had come in here and spoiled things because of the books. I had read that the writers weren’t going by way of the books…
Well shit. there goes my hope!!
Just fyi the books are very different from the show. Caleb doesn’t even exist in the books. neither does Garret. I read the books and it just seems like a completely different series. Nothing is the same.
I don’t consider Courtney a spoiler as she’s already out there and everyone knows who she is whether you read the books or not. Don’t worry, I don’t remember much from the books so I can’t really “spoil” anything else for you.
