Pretty Little Liars Recap: Single Fright Female

We are one episode away from finding out who is going to betrAy our little liars and it will be a little bittersweet for me. It’s been fun recapping this show for you guys and discussing different motives but I will have to hand the keys back to Hypno after the next episode. Busted…for stealing and that horrible outfit

Hanna is trying to find an outfit slightly less hookerish to cover the bandage on her leg from stabbing herself last week while trying to get out of Noel’s cabin. Spencer questions why she has to wear a bandage since Wren fixed her up and Hanna replies that she has to let it breathe and settles on a hideous long skirt that she wore while acting in Mama Mia in the 8th grade. She receives a call from Wren that she declines and Spencer starts questioning her regarding their relationship and comforting her about falling for the Dr. McHottie routine. Hanna denies anything happened even though Spencer doesn’t seem jealous or concerned. The girls head downstairs to leave when Ted greets Ashley at the front door with a flash drive that was found while they were renovating the church. He notes that there are videos of the girls and that he wanted Ashley to have a chance to look at it before bringing it to the attention of the police. Hanna freaks out while listening in because they promised Jenna the video of her and Toby would never see the light and she fears that Jenna will come after her thinking it was done on purpose. Ted leaves and Ashley questioningly puts the flash drive on the counter instead of in her bag, a desk, etc…I know she’s on the Suspect Tracker list and I just had to point out that you know that Hanna is a thief so why place it within reach of her? It’s like she was trying to set Hanna up to take the flash drive.

Why is Aria always up this man’s ass?

Hanna does try to take the drive on her way out the door with Spencer but Ashley catches her and they have an argument in the kitchen about what may or may not be on the drive. Hanna says that Mona took the videos (which I don’t believe she did, I think it was Noel or someone else on the A Team) and that she is getting better so there is no reason to hand it over to the police so they can throw her in a jail cell. Ashley says she is not Mona’s biggest fan and that she will view the videos and decide what to do by the end of the day. She drives Hanna to school and wants to know why she’s dressed so hideously. Aria wakes up Ezra and then asks him why he’s still sleeping? Um…because when you don’t have a job or anything remotely interesting to do you sleep? She’s seriously the dumbest of the bunch. Ezra admits he was up late writing an email to Maggie that he never actually sent. After hearing what his mother did to Aria he has been thrown in a whirl spin wondering how Maggie is doing or if her life spiraled out of control because of his mother. Aria suggests calling but Ezra doesn’t want to crash into her life…but he will consider emailing her which is essentially the same thing. Good job Aria, you cockblocked your own relationship by pushing the Maggie issue onto Ezra.
