Pretty Little Liars Recap: Single Fright Female

Hanna is chatting on IM to someone about stealing back the flash drive and what should she do when the other person is revealed to be Caleb who just wants to walk over and kiss Hanna. Jenna, however, walks in and kicks Hanna off her computer saying that her “time is up”. Caleb looks at her intently as if he wants to either rip her head off or congratulate her on a job well done. He might be A and his facial expressions are very limited so I can’t tell if he is friend or foe. Emily rides up to Nate and he’s being super flirty and touchy feely which is making Em uncomfortable. He keeps trying to get her to go out with him to get pizza and later for dinner that night but Em finally lays it down that the other night was a mistake though she doesn’t regret the kiss and they should be friends since she is dating Paige. Nate flips a switch and gets mad and says that her and Maya both claimed to be spontaneous but really they were reckless and that Maya would sit in his car and give the same line to 20 other guys. Emily gets a little concerned with the information but instead of you know….ASKING what the hell he was talking about she just leaves and says they will talk later.

CALLED IT!

Aria walks into a classroom because she can’t stop ruining her own relationship. What do I mean by that? The teacher of the classroom is Maggie (played by ALEX FUCKING MACK!!) and Aria is posing as an undergrad named Amy trying to decide on where to teach. She sits with Maggie and notes that she doesn’t have a wedding ring and tries to see if she is seeing anyone by asking how difficult it would be to meet someone in a suburban setting as s single woman. I have to be a fucking psychic because a little boy walks up to Maggie and asks for a play date with his friend and Aria, being the idiot she is, says that it’s cute that they ask Maggie for everything. Maggie says he is a special case because he is her son and FINALLY it clicks in Aria’s stupid head that Ezra MIGHT HAVE A SON. I’ve been saying that should have been her question not how much she got paid off. Maggie notices the look on Aria’s face and says that she was a teen mom before it was a television show.

I always feel like someone is watching me…

Spencer meets up with Emily to confront her regarding Paige’s relationship with Ali which Paige has denied previously. Spencer tells Em that they were not passing acquaintances but that they were at war with each other and that Cece is the one that told her all of this information. Emily calls out Spencer and asks her why they decided to trust Cece all of a sudden and Spencer says that Ali might have told her information that she couldn’t tell them but Emily decides to walk off to swim practice instead of listening. Spencer says that it is odd that Paige never mentioned Ali to Em and Em says it is odd that Ali used to put the girls against each other and now Cece is doing it and repeating history. Spence tells her it is not about Cece but that Paige has a dark side and that she even once tried to drown Em (that’s what I’ve been saying!). The camera angle changes slightly to look as if someone is spying on the girls arguing. Emily walks off pissed at Spencer.

Jenna is such a badass.
