Pretty Little Liars Recap: Stolen Kisses

Spencer and Hanna are trying to get into Maya’s site when someone finally remembers that Tyler Blackburn is now a season regular and he hasn’t been in a few episodes. Spencer suggests asking Caleb for help which Hanna agrees to reluctantly before Toby comes storming in demanding to know where Jason is because he isn’t at home. Spencer dismisses Hanna and says she doesn’t know what is going on and Toby finally grows balls and lays down the law. He tells Spencer that Jason left them in a bind by leaving with the car to get it fixed over state lines and that they lied to the cops. He knows Spencer won’t tell him the truth so he doesn’t bother asking. Instead he grabs her phone and says he will find out what is going on himself since everyone is in jail but she still jumps when her phone rings. Spencer tries to say everything is complicated but Toby says that she needs protection from her family and storms off. Hanna gives Spencer a “Bitch I know the feeling look” as Spencer starts to tear up over her fight with Toby. Meanwhile, Emily stalks Paige who is working on her bicycle in her backyard with one pant leg rolled up to explain Flaskgate. Paige doesn’t want an explanation but agrees to meet with Emily the next day to talk.

Pretty sure Paige is a top.

Wren and Hanna meet to discuss Mona and Hanna finds out that they plan to move Mona to a bigger facility in Saratoga because she needs more intensive treatment due to her outbursts and smuggling meds out with a visitor. Hanna’s only concern is that she isn’t the suspected smuggler and doesn’t bother questioning who it is or who is visiting Mona as Wren mentions that Mona is popular. Hanna wants Wren to convince the board to keep Mona nearby and he agrees but doesn’t think it will be easy. Caleb walks in and sees Hanna with Wren and walks away thinking it’s likely a date or she is still involved with Mona. Caleb, who walks really fast, meets up with Spencer who asks for help to break into the website and kind of flirts with Caleb. I think it’s because he is driving a Mercedes and as much as Spencer doesn’t like to admit it, she likes money. She then receives a text that reads “Mona’s almost gone. Hanna’s next. – A”.

She reveals the text to the girls and Hanna reveals that she met with Wren who told her they want to move Mona to a new facility. Hanna also mentions that Mona is smuggling her pills out but none of the girls question her on why she didn’t push further with Wren as to whom they suspect the smuggler is. These girls are so dumb sometimes. Aria later asks Emily (worst choice) for help on what to wear and they decide Spencer would be a better stylist. Emily questions why Ezra wouldn’t ask his family for help since they have so much money and he is struggling financially. Wheels do not spin in Aria’s head. Later, Aria and Spencer find her mom’s bag at home and they take Garrett’s case file and make copies of all the papers. Spencer mentions that she can get in and out undetected and again, should we suspect maybe Spencer is in on the whole A team thing? She does have that creepy time line…
